They weren't cheap. They had a version in plastic with the same color scheme for about 1/3 the price of the carbon fiber ones. I went with the carbon fiber.
Awesome stuff!! For half the price of this fairing kit I did a full rebuild on my 2004, ZX10r, engine, suspension, wheels and tyres. The Ducatis are in a totally different league though, love the videos, subbed😀
So if i wanted to i could even buy a v2 panigale and make it at least look like a superleggera? Because thats what i like most about the superleggera is the look and i dont think i will ever afford a real superleggera
I would say mainly cosmetic. However, I'm installing the same ohlins suspension front and back, all carbon fairings, carbon fiber rims, tons of carbon, but NO carbon swing arm or frame, except the fairing stay and all the other carbon trim pieces. I just got word that my forks are coming on the 14th.
@@MotoGarageTV Coolio. Same forks as the R but the SL has the billet bottoms. Same for the shock but it’s not that good. I swapped my rear shock out for the Maxton GP10 and also contemplating switching the cartridges. Will look nice with the fairing.
Damn i was rearching for so long a video doing a review in detail of that supperleggera kit, so glad i found your video ! Cant wait to see the final result, it'll looks amazing
Right on! I'm getting closer to installing it each day. I'm just waiting for the set of Ohlins forks I ordered to arrive. Hopefully, they will arrive this week or next .
@David Prost I plan on putting the Superleggera seat on, I've been trying to track one down, but I may end up having to put a cover on that looks similar if I'm not able to locate one.
So as someone who is planning on doing the same thing how far in are you financially? I figure if I can find a 21 model year around 20k I can make it happen
Hey I've been keeping a running tab on this project so far. I've got a little over 18k just in upgrades so far. With all the carbon fiber fairings, rims and winglets and other parts, Sprockets and chain kit, Ohlins suspension upgrade, brembo Rotors and exhaust
@@zacharywhitney4795 yeah me too. I'm waiting on the front forks from Ohlins. That is the last major piece of the puzzle. That's about 3 weeks out still. My test shock arrived today though
I ordered on March 19th, and I received my order yesterday, April 13th. Yes, I used PayPal. The only surprise I had was that DHL charged me $455 dollars for Statement of duty/ tax charges. I was not expecting this as Vulturbike charged for shipping. How they explained it to me was they didn't charge me resident taxes on my order. Which worked out to what taxes would have cost in the end. Just a heads up. They were great with customer service, and the quality is amazing.
The bike cost me $17k....I put close to $30k in on this build. I've got a Fullsix carbon fiber front fairing stay coming tomorrow, along with Brembo Corsa Corta Master Cylinders for brake and clutch.
Sorry for the confusion. The fairings that were delivered (in this video) are the conversion parts. I haven't installed them yet, which I see your point. However, I'm describing the conversion in the video.
Mainly to play with the parts. It started out as simple upgrades, but I didn't have an end goal, which I did after I bought the carbon fiber fairings. I knew all the other upgrades I wanted to do after. It just gave me direction, I guess. Plus, it looks amazing at less than half the price.
Is this a joke?? Where are the conversion parts like carbon fueltank, carbon front fairing holder, carbon rear subframe, carbon rims and carbon monocoque????
Carbon rims, BST Rapid Tek installed, front fairing piece on the way, Ohlins forks as well. The gas tank and other items mentioned are out of my price range.
@@MotoGarageTV That will make an awesome bike! I built a real Superleggera replica some years ago using the 1199 as a base, built engine, carbon monocoque, Öhlins forks and rear TTX shock, and Carbon brakes like in Formula 1! The real Superleggera doesnt even have that
@@MaciusSzwed man that sounds amazing. Send me a link if you can, I would love to check out the end result. I would love to go all out, but money is my biggest constraint.
Looks great, when I did mine in 2021 nobody made these so I had to go with decals, but these parts look ultra clean 👍

I like this video ❤ for build v4 fc from thailand 🇹🇭

Very true, I paid just under 4k and rebuilt my R1, which killed me to sell. But I figured I'll make this one I keep around for a while. We'll see
@@MotoGarageTV Glad to hear that, dont sell the R1, too much work and passion into her, you’ll never make your money’s worth selling🥰

Well, that makes two of us. I'm not sure about the V2. The SuperLeggera is based on the v4 platform. I'm sure you can get close, though.
Just bought one of these, pick it up tomorrow!
Right on! I'm happy with their product. Excellent quality.
Ooh nice. Soo a conversion to a SL? A full conversion or just cosmetic?

Yeah, I believe the shock has the titanium spring as well. I have the TTX and the FGRT 214 black series, but you're right about the billet bottoms.

do you do the installation yourself ?
Yes, I do my own installations.
how much did it cost i was thinking of your idea long back
I paid $3,896 for this set. Had to sell one of my bikes just to afford it.
All just to pretend it’s a superleggera ?
Aliexpress 700 dollars

hello brother, is it all glossy or all Matt or colored parts glossy and carbon Matt.
Hello, all parts are glossy, Colored and carbon.
How long did it take to ship? Looking into buying parts from vulture bike too. And did you pay with PayPal? Beautiful bike btw!
