Good job mate. Victoriana is my fav whisky since 2019 when I first learnt of Glen Scotia at a Whisky expo. Enjoy.

This video was absolutely brilliant! Thank you for sharing your perceptive on this, as it was quite refreshing. I would definitely like to see you take a deeper dive in Campbeltown. With that said, the youtube algorithm seems to be holding your content exposure to the Whiskytube masses pretty low and we need to fix that. I would suggest adding a few more reviews of many highly searched whiskies (even if they are not your favorites), just to get the eyes on your channel and content. Would love nothing more than voices such as yours to be heard because as an enthusiast myself, I truly appreciate the genuine interest and appreciation for the spirit and the industry. The more Whiskytube viewers get to see your content, the more likely your subscriber base will grow. Here's to a successful 2023.

I had a brilliant private tour by the manager at Glen Scotia in 2011 well before they had a visitor centre and public tours. I was even able to purchase a heavily peated GS which was produced from a rickety old cupboard! So I'm delighted to see how well this marvellous distillery is doing these days, and that with some TLC they have gone from being one of the most overlooked distilleries to one people are now raving about.

How was the bottle of heavily peated GS?

@@thewhiskyloft It was so long ago that I finished the bottle I can't remember too clearly! It was decent without being amazing and certainly different from an Islay. I do remember that the bottle had no label but was screen printed.

Well done buddy, it's tough for anyone to start a channel. Keep it up. I'm subscribing. That 2022 8 y.o. Is a cracking dram.

Glen Scotia is very rare here in the US. I found the 15 and bought a few bottles. I like it so much that instead of drinking it I am just sniffing :) Who knows when I will find another bottle.

I’m enjoying the 2021 Festival Bordeaux Cask. Looking forward to trying that PX release. Cheers.

You're in for a treat. I've not tried the 2021 Festival release, so will have to hunt it down. Really enjoying red wine cask finishes and maturation at the moment.
