  • Berlin has broken its silence over the protocol issue during German foreign minister's India visit. Annalena Baerbock was in Delhi earlier this week for G20 meet. A video of her deboarding the aircraft without red carpet and officials soon went viral. Social media users compared the airport welcome received by Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov with his German counterpart, triggering flurry of questions. Watch this video to know more

We thought how good are the Indians, they don't like the warmonger minister. This minister is the one who said she doesn't care about her own voters, she only cares about Ukraine and the war. And lot of other stupid things, so she won't be a minister so long... Now we think she was an idiot again.

The USA BLEW UP THE GAS PIPELINE and the government said nothing. Six months later Scholz visits Washington to get his new orders. They sell their nation, people like that do deserve to be snubbed. She is incompetent and a shame to the nation.

There's enough evidence for both ways. 😄
Even the "German" Christmas has its roots in Persian history (pre Islamic), as Winter Solstice was already celebrated back then and the Roman Catholic Church just planted their celebration on top. (As they did with many traditional celebration days.)

@@weird_philosopher Well, if you are familiar with the Kurgan hypothesis, you will know that the distribution of PIE (Proto-Indo-European language) is reversed, from the continent to India - with its roots in the Pontic-Caspian steppe.
This is also supported by analysis of the human Y chromosome DNA haplogroup - see 'Western Steppe Herders' in the Copper Age.
Analysis of the so-called Mitochondrial Eve shows a similar movement.
However, there is different genetic evidence for both directions, although I can't remember the correct term. Maybe it's due to different times (Mitochondrial Eve was about 150k - 200k years ago, while there was also a movement from India towards Europe 60k years ago.

Ambassdar Ackermann clarifies on the incident
Amid the protocol-related controversy on social media, the German Ambassador to India, Philipp Ackermann, on Monday said the German Foreign minister's plane landed early in Delhi. He said "Minister's plane landed a little early in Delhi. We asked her to stay in plane for a while, she decided to leave without receiving line, that was entire German problem. We Germans know about the good and warm hospitality in India and would never doubt it. Our Foreign Minister does not need a pompous reception to feel that she is in good hands. She'd rather work on good conversations than wait for a red carpet. As the video explains, the plane was early and that's the end of the matter. The incident, according to the German envoy, happened as a result of Baerbock’s jet landing early. The minister was requested to stay on the plane for a while, but she ultimately made the decision to exit.
Speaking to ANI, Ackermann said, “We had to transfer her to the conference centre and she was a little early so the German authorities asked her to wait on the plane for a while. She had some breakfast and then spontaneously decided to leave the plane without the receiving line being formed. It has nothing to do with Indian protocol. I can only say again and again the Indian protocol has done outstanding work this week.”
The minister is not a “very pretentious person,” according to the ambassador, who added that he did not mind the lack of a reception line.
“The minister came out of the plane. You’ve seen it on the little video on social media, she laughed, she had a great time, she thought to herself it was quite funny and we had a very nice welcome. And she’s not a very pretentious person, so she had no problem with this little mishap,” Ackermann was quoted as saying.

Context: For all foreign delegations arriving there is a standard operating procedure. The plane lands at a designated time, the onboard delegates remain onboard while the red carpet is laid and arrangements are done and then that respective country's ambassador or embassy officials inform the delegates, that they can deplane. In this particular situation, the misunderstanding is this, while the German plane with the German FM landed early, the on land arrangements that were fixed for a certain time had to be earlier than assigned time and inspite of the German ambassador informing the FM, that it will take sometime for everything to be arranged as per protocol. The German FM took a personal decision to deboard the plane without informing the ground staff. Which is why as we can see in the video there is a funny confusion as they didn't expect her to come out so soon after landing. You can even hear the Indian delegate mention that they were not expecting her to come down so soon.
All said and done, such a simple confusion is being milked well by the media for all the wrong reasons.

The German Ambassador was not even ready to receive her so he cant say it was a mistake. When the stairs are set on the airplane you expect the passengers to come out. If she was early they would not set the stairs up like that. Obviously the Indians planted no red carpet for her and so they faked like it was a mishap with a meal on the plane and all that nonsense. If she was to arrive ahead of time everyone in India would know hours before. Flights like that do not arrive without everyone knowing and preparing.
