How powerful do you think Aizen became by the TYBW Arc? Is he still a hybrid being? Let me know your thoughts on where Aizen sits on the hierarchy of Bleach's strongest characters by the end of the series!
Definitely still a hybrid being, and probably stronger than he was at the end of Deicide, just like I think Ichigo in TYBW came to far outstrip his power during Deicide.
@@kanoreese1253 Just cause you are inmortal does not mean you can't be beaten into a pulp. There are types of inmortality. In Aizens case it seems to be just physicical inmortality, in that he won't die from regular means. But he can still be injured, incapacitated, absorbed and sealed or defeated.
I will say out of the various appearances of Aizen, the supposed seals created to restrain him as a prisoner to the Soul Society inadvertently just make him look so much cooler.
It's the Alucard Effect. The more bound up a strong character is when they style all over everyone the cooler they are. Within a degree of reason and proper writing up to that point.
And stronger, in all likelihood. It's just like what happened to Frieza in Super, except with maybe more self-reflection and genuine respect for his main character.
@@oxcare5mines is when he wore the black hoodie he got from kisuke to spy on isshin and when he says he will stand atop after he breaks the glasses with his captain outfit
Why? Extended means we get the same outcome with filler stuff. IT NEEDS COMPLETE REWRITING. We need a true conclusion to Aizen's fate after tybw, not just him dissolving in Bach's fart juices.
that is what I want the most in the anime. I really want to see them have a full on battle and have Ichigo and Renji come in when Aizen starts to become overwhelmed. It would be even better if we saw Aizen's bankai.
While bound to Chair-Sama, Aizen nearly *_casually_* pulled down the Royal dimension by merely flexing his reiatsu. Had his range not been restricted, the madman would've brought down the Royal palace down to his location. Mind you, he couldn't have moved out of the way either😂 He was ready to just tank the crush and survive, the same way he sat through a Kurohitsugi that had captains and Sternritter alike, scurrying away in fear. His reiatsu was completely analyzed by a Sternritter 'U' The Underbelly, basically, once the Shrift completely analyzes one's reiatsu, a mere touch will absolutely kill you. It's an instant death hax, A sealed Aizen merely gets knocked out for a few minutes (even then he's still unapproachable). So while seated and unmoving, Aizen has some of the best feats in the TYBW arc even without using Kyoka Suigetsu.
@@thejammyproject Sure that wasn't part of the hypnosis? If it broke he wouldn't have been able to do the whole "You thought you were looking at Kurosaki Ichigo huh? Fascinating"
I suggest you go read the Manga again, he was fighting with his eyes closed which is why it wasnt broken during that initial encounter, ocne they opened KS didnt work after that in the final battle. Aizen made him think all his eyes were open as we see when he was fighting what he thought was Ichigo then stabbed him for Aizen to be reveald, then Ichigo jumps out slices him but look at that all his eyes are actually closed.
My favourite Aizen moment is when after absorbing the Soul King, Yhwach comes down to the Soul Society and is greeted by Aizen, still bound to Chair-sama, saying "I'd like to welcome you to MY Soul Society."
I like that moment too. Aizen was really trolling and trying to get into Yhwach's head. "Looks like you had more trouble dealing with Ichigo Kurosaki than I did. ." Yhwach was getting salty
I mean Aizen being fully confident that he could have just brought the Soul King Palace down with just his Reiatsu alone is a huge statement. Imagine the distance between Soul Society and the Soul King Palace. It took Ichigo like 9 hours at full speed to travel that gap.
Aizen is playing the long game. Even restrained his power is lethally dangerous and he's banking on Soul Society's own hypocrisies and secrets do them in. Then he may ascend to godhood.
I imagine Aizen getting out of prison, they give him a bus ticket and he has to leave Seretei and get a normal job. He works at Soul McDonald’s but no one ever gets their food, he just makes them think they got it. He gets in trouble a lot but his boss just yells at the grill cause she thinks it’s him. Also the shake machine does work, he just makes everyone think it’s broken.
I'd like to think that, with how philosophical Aizen seems towards the end of the series, he's just been sitting there and reflecting on why he lost and everything that happened. If we go by Ichigo's statement on what the Hogyoku granted him, Aizen wanting to be an ordinary shinigami, perhaps Kyoka Suigetsu did abandon him but eventually Aizen earned back it's trust after a lot of soul searching because it is such an integral part of being a shinigami. He has time in spades now after all.
Aizen while sitting in a chair and having his power restricted, was able to casually crush a wave of the Soul King's Reiatsu that was somewhat sentient. He has also completely fused with his sword, becoming a truly Transcended Being. And, he was able to fight a Yhwach, who was far stronger then he was when he defeated Ichibe. Aizen is indeed one of the most powerful characters in the series, and yet we still have not seen the full extent of his power. The man is such a boss, haha!
@@phantomzero1982 No. the big issue was Ywach and Aizen had so much Reiatsu they were balancing the overflowing reiatsu in hell. But now that Ywach is dead and Aizen is sealed (so his reiatsu isn’t balancing the plane) the balance has crashed towards hell’s side causing openings to form
At his core, Aizen wanted to be a soul king like figure, but not just any soul king - he wanted to retain his 'humanity' and rationality with it. It's his main motivation throughout the entire series - he's discontent with the current soul king, referring to him as a 'thing'. I think the final version of Aizen we see reflects this. We still recognize him as Aizen, and he's still got the personality and mentality with it, but he's also a god-like being. In a sense, the Hōgyoku completely fulfilled his wish of being a person with the power of god who still retains his humanity.
I've always thought the scene where Kyoraku undid the seal and Aizen apparently was walking to him was simply a part of Kyoka Suigetsu's hypnosis making it look like he was free to walk around.
I wonder if Yhwach saw Ichigo when he stabbed Aizen because Kyoka Suigetsu and the Hogyoku kind of melded abilities. And that his complete hypnosis, in that moment was showing Yhwach what his 'heart desired most' which was killing Ichigo.
Honestly, I think the implication is that he could free himself at anytime, but he's just curious as to what's going to happen with Ichigo and the rest of soul society now that they managed to contain him. Like Orochimaru with Sasuke. The destructive impulses are weakened and replaced by pure curiosity. Just my take though.
That's my take as well. Like Orochimaru with Naruto and Sasuke, Aizen has developed a real respect for Ichigo and wishes to see how his journey plays out and where his courage takes him.
I always found Aizen to be much more interesting and terrifying when using only his already immense power as a shinigami without any outside influence. It’s something that can’t be taken away or nullified so easily if at all.
I took the line "So I appear to you as Ichigo Kurosaki", not so much of him not controlling what illusion his opponent sees, but how Yhwach powers work. Yhwach can see the various realities and pick which ones to make real in the current reality. Aizen can control what Yhwach sees in each other reality but Aizen doesn't know which reality Yhwach picked.
Exactly. Aizen knows that Yhwach can pick and choose which future to interact with and he knows that he will always spam Kyouka Suigetsu to counter Almighty, he just has no way of knowing which future Yhwach selected, and therefore which illusion he's seeing. I always thought that was obvious, so it was interesting to see how many people didn't consider that. It only makes sense. Only one character in the series can see, alter, or interact with the future. The answer to why Aizen didn't know which illusion affected Yhwach is clear, based on that fact alone.
What I dont understand is how Haschwalth was able to foresee Yhwach's death with borrowed Almighty but Yhwach wasnt. Haschwalth even saw Ichigo killing Yhwach with his old shikai just like Ichigo ended up doing.
@@Nurix09 I don't remember but its easy to answer if Aizen wasn't around Haschawalth. Yhwach couldn't see the future because its a vision based power and Aizen can obscure what he sees with it.
Good analysis on Aizen’s evolution after Diecide into the final arc. It was a great move by Kubo to have him come back and be a foil to Ywach’s ambitions. Having the two most powerful of the series’ villains square off at God-tier levels in the final chapters of the series was a masterstroke.
My head canon is that the Bleach universe ends when Aizen emerges from his 20.000 years sentence, and, to Kyoraku asking him how it feels to be free again, he simply responds with a smirk and two words: "Ban Kai"
That would be perfect! A story without a happy end. OR everything that happened was Aizen his Bankai and he put everyone and everything in a permanend dreamstate.
@@ilayben-simchon7688Griffith is a man child that had trust issues He could not perform without his boyfriend guys Smells a lot like Naruto and sasuke Aizen is just evil incarnate
In the end Aizen has time on his hands, Soul Society does not given the very close shave with the TYBW and now hell making itself known alongside who knows what other grim/dangerous secrets the nobility have. Aizen may have been defeated and given a quick breeze of air in the war but his ambitions remain while those in have not learned anything. A dangerous combination.
I always thought that Aizen had gone beyond the typical understanding of a soul reaper and had become a completely unique being, unlike any that have had existed before in the four realms (Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, Human World, and Hell). His current status happens to be similar to that of the singular nature of the Soul King, and I have always been curious if there may have been some hidden force (either the soul king himself or underlying power) at play in this development.
I just always thought that like, just how Ichigo's powers evolved overtime, and his hollow mask went away and became pieces of armor on his outfit to show his growth, that something similar probably happened to Aizen. Of course, he's merged with his sword now as a transcendent being. So he can activate the powers at will, not have a sword on him, and can kind of just manifest it whenever. I think that when Aizen initially fused with the Hougyoku, his desire to evolve and transcend soul reapers and hollows was kind of just literally manifested by the stone manifesting his desire into reality. He wanted to keep evolving and turning into something that wasnt a soul reaper or hollow, so it did that power-wise, and in the literal sense with the constant metamorphosis into the eventual monster form. After getting clapped by Ichigo and then being rejected by his sword and the Hougyoku and being more or less reset, his powers probably changed during his time in prison while his was self-reflecting. He was clearly able to re-establish a connection with his zanpakuto. So it stands to reason that he was able to re-connect with the Hougyoku. Only this time maybe his desires to grow and become stronger weren't just a very basic, feral desire to ascend forms over and over. This time his desires led him down a more natural state of mind where the hougyoku responded by just giving him a power boost without the need of changing his physical body.
Yeah Aizen's reiatsu could be like how Starks reiatsu was towards hollows, where its so powerful it kills them just by being near. So if not for the seals, the other shinigami might die if he let loose his reiatsu.
Aizen destroying the soul king reatsu and shocking the rest of the captains and lieutenants is crazy, all of them combined couldn’t deal with it but the moment aizen appears (still sealed) just obliterates all the reatsu
Aizen was like another yamamoto... it's like 1 is born every 1000 years... and if two are alive around the same time we're to ever have conflict with eachother than everyone will damn near die in the vicinity of the battle lol
It's really interesting to speculate what is Aizen's current mindset. It's obvious he has cooled down after his defeat in deicide. But looking at his behaviour during TYBW it's still feels he's in control of his own situation, at least for the most part. Remebreb how during Everything But The Rain he says somehing like: "if original goal wasn't reached, sometimes it's because it was surpassed".
Aizen and Yhwach would have battled endlessly for millenia. Reminds me of that saying. "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object?"
this is a crazy shout but it would be real cool if you did a sorta hypothesis vid or a what if type of video on what would of happened if the thousand year blood war arc had started mid eroncar arc like if they invaded while the main battles in the city were just getting started would aizen and the eroncar have fought along side the soul reapers so on and so forth you get it
I don’t agree that the Hōgyoku or Zanpakutō ever abandoned him (Zanpakutō especially have shown to be loyal even if they disagree with their master) but instead I believe Aizen loosing it as well as seeing Ichigo merge triggered the last state of a Zanpakutō which is the full fusion. For now I think the reason why he isn’t evolving like crazy with the Hōgyoku is he’s more so back to first surpassing boundaries as Shinigami and figuring things out before moving forward. Which is… absolutely terrifying if you think about it. The Soul Society basically has a Nuclear bomb in their inter dimensional basement. I really hope the TYBW anime expands on Aizen’s scenes or redoes them. Even just seeing Ywach’s conversation with him was a delightful addition to flush things out
I really love your videos, since the manga has been over for a while you've been able to really analyze the source material and answer many questions we all have had. Aizen has returned to the meta. BLEACH always fascinated me simply because the main character is a part of every species in the world he lives in.
Great video, one of the best you’ve done. 🏆 it’s only missing Aizen’s interactions with more of the main cast like Rukia and the other Vice Captains who initially saw him after Shunsui let him out.
I remember in the Lord they said that if you've achieved bankai, your shikai can come out without command which means technically that activation ritual can be at will
I'd imagine the suit was put on while Kisuke had him bound, and probably developed by (and placed on him) by Kisuke as well, so that could solve that mystery
i wouldn't take any villain over Aizen even if we somehow manage to live through the thousand year blood war of waiting for the "Hell Arc" and it delivers us a great villain then i would still want Ichigo VS Aizen to be the final battle of that arc
Nah I think after TYBW no point of Aizen to fight with Ichigo. What I personally want to see is Aizen becoming Ichigo's son Kazui"s Mentor cuz that kid is fricking OP
An interpretation I have, whether Kubo intended this or not, is that his chair represents how his imprisonment is an illusion. I mean he could have been imprisoned any number of ways but Kubo went with throne like imagery specifically. I see it as showing that since Aizen has refocused himself the Hogyoku actually DOES recognize him is its master again now that he has accepted his new outlook on power. It also makes the Hogyoku feel even more personified, as if it never truly stopped serving Aizen but knew it had to strip Aizen down in order to help its master achieve his true wish before granting that power back.
If Hyogoku has the power to manifest people's desires, then technically it did do that for Aizen. Maybe it knew Aizen could not gain power by simply transforming but instead allowed him to lose against Ichigo in order to gain more power. Like destiny made manifest. In order to gain more power Aizen had to grow more than just his body but also his mind, and so by being deafeted by Ichigo but not killed would mean he'd become even more powerful in the future and actually get his wish to challenge god himself.
So this is a theory.... Urahara had a "theory" that the hogyoku rejected him. And he said it to spite Aizen. If all of Uraharas theories were right then Aizen wouldn't even get the hogyoku. If Urahara always underestimated the hogyokus abilities (thought it was something that could only hollowfy) and couldn't unfuse the Hogyoku even from a sealed Aizen, then I cant take what he says abt the hogyoku as a fact. Imo Ichigos theory is correct, he said he sensed loneliness from Aizens sword and he asked Urahara if its possible that Aizen lost because he wanted to lose. Imo Aizen always "subconsciously" wanted to be a normal soulreaper like Ichigo said and he wanted someone equal, who could defeat him at his best. He also hated the way soulsociety worked and wanted to change things by ruling it. Which kinda also means this equal rival / partner / enemy couldnt be from the soulsociety, because he hates them for submitting to a Seggsdoll. So he was subconsciously hopeful that someone might be born from outside and let Ichigo be born, knowing that he will have great potential because of his special parents + Aizens Kuro Hollow infection. That is also why he speed up Ichigos progress by sending him through hurdles, which Aizen said himself. One could say Aizen is Ichigos godfather and Ichigo wouldnt exist without him let alone get this powerful. Aizen once outsmarted Urahara... Pretty badly... So its hard to believe one of Aizens experiments which went off rails but Aizen still let progress... Which later he helped grow faster in power by putting different hurdles in front, would coincidentally be strong enough to overpower Aizen at his best (even tho for a little while) without Aizen not predicting any of it. Before he defeated Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi... Aizen told Ichigo that he should be much stronger than this and that all his hurdles were put by Aizen. After he defeated Isshin, Urahara and Yoruichi he left Ichigo scared and hopeless but alive like always and without forcefully showing his Sword release to this potential future threat... He showed his release to lieutenants but didn't even try once knowing Ichigo since sperm state and knowing his potential. Almost as if he wants Ichigo to be a rival.. He even went and destroyed the train in the presipest world and later told gin that Ichigo will comeback with new powers. So basically he made ichigo a time chamber... He also wanted to kill ichigos school friends so that he gets even stronger. And at the end Ichigo surpassed him by a lot (for a little while) all thanks to Aizens time chamber, which even took Aizen by surprise and kinda made him salty. He wanted someone equal but he didn't know this rival would get way ahead. But I think he was subconsciously ok with it Until Mugetsu finished. He saw Ichigo lose his power and subconsciously wished to get weaker like Ichigo. Its similar to Zaraki subconsciously making himself weaker for Unohana because he finally found a worthy Rival. And the Hogyoku granted that wish for Aizen. Just that it wasn't expressed properly outside Ichigos feeling about Aizans sword. Because if they did, then no one would feel the impact of Zaraki and Unohana arc in TYBW. Imo if the hogyoku rejected him then it wouldn't be making him stronger in his sitting sealed state.
And thats what makes sense to me knowing Aizens chara. Sorry for the long post. But this thoroughly explains why I think the Hogyoku didn't reject him haha
Aizen wasn't sure he was able to use his zanpakuto ability on yhwach because of the almighty. Aizen notes this after ichigo hits Yhwach with getsuga. So it seems the almighty and aizens zanpakuto ability some what counter each other. Yhwach can still see the future, but he doesn't know if it's real or not because of Yhwach, then you have being able to use kyoka but he's unable to control what Yhwach sees
I figured that Aizen was unsure how his Kyoka Suigetsu would effect someone in possession of the Soul King’s power. He has always been able to control what a person experiences while under hypnosis, and there’s no reason for that to stop being true. However he is also smart enough to know that his power may not measure up to the Soul King. So he probably assumed that even if his power did work on Ywbach, it’s effect may not be exactly what he intended. His response leaves it unclear whether it was or wasn’t.
Also I really have come to develop a new appreciation for Aizen’s transformations and his fall from grace, the imagery does really lend itself to the story by depicting Aizen’s downfall in a truly artistic fashion.
I think the possibility that he gained access to his zanpakuto after his imprisonment by manipulating and appealing to Kyoka Suigetsu in a way only he, the master manipulator that he is, can do. He had two years with presumably only one person/thing to talk to, even if it was pissed at him for ditching it for the hogyoku he has plenty of time to fight it or speak with it for the right to use his ability again.
Mrtommo, i have been returning to your videos but the last few months i havent been seeing the subs and viewers grow weekly per usual... very sad. Keep trucking great content.
Give me a “Turn Back The Pendulum” arc of a young Aizen learning he is so much stronger than his peers, as well as those he initially looked up to. Then learning about the Soul King and becoming completely disillusioned by Soul Society and suffering from loneliness in his power and view of the world around him.
I feel like he should be strong enough to the point where he himself could potentially be a candidate as the soul king. After all the Hōgyoku had pieces of the soul king, via "nails" from can't fear your own world, mixed in. And while he no longer has the Hōgyoku , traces of it must still be there. Also that it seems like Ichigo is the only one who can face him
The Soul King candidates are hybrid fusions of all the races like Ichigo, Ginjo and Hikone. Now that the Hōgyoku has rejected Aizen he’s no longer a Soul Reaper/Hollow hybrid. If Aizen can regain control of the Hōgyoku he could probably be a candidate.
Its actually explained strength isn't a requirement to be a soul king candidate. You need Reiatsu balanced by all the species. Ie: you need to be part quincy, human, soulreaper, and hollow. Aizen is only soul reaper, and maybe partially hollow. Ichigo could be an SK candidate cause he's all 4. They state Yhwach wasn't until he absorbed the soul king. But oddly enough Ginjo is one despite being way weaker. Because he's apparently also a hybrid of all 4 species too.
This is due to the fact that Aizen spiritual pressure is so beyond the level of normal sugar going to the point that it can automatically create its own layer of barrier
The fact that he was able to go challenge SK Yhwach speaks volumes. Dude has the power to run circles around the Almighty. And that’s after a single year spent strapped to a chair, bound and imprisoned! Can you imagine what he’ll be like if he appears in the Hell Arc? One of the biggest things I’m looking forward to seeing is them possibly expanding upon is Aizen & Ichigo vs. Yhwach.
I wouldn't say he could challenge Yhwach. Aizen didn't really seem to be able to land a single hit on yhwach while he was under kyoka, whereas Yhwach absolutely demolished aizen while under kyoka
You do have a point but it’s worth noting that he kept coming back for more. Yhwach put a hole in his chest and ripped off his arm, but Aizen was right back in the fight. The power difference is notable, but at the same time, it’s a testament to how important he was to help Ichigo get in close for the Getsuga Tensho. Almost anyone else in his position would’ve been one shot
@@filthywalffle2633 to even affect ywach with KS is proof that aizen is somewhat relative to him in power. We already know the rule. For all abilities, reiatsu is the deciding factor. Weak people will be suppressed by the strong. But Ywach could not suppress KS, meaning aizen is in his ballpark. He rivals him. Among all the current cast, only ichigo and aizen can make that claim and this was aizen with seals. What if he wasnt sealed? What if instead of imprisoned for 2 years he trained and developed? What if like ichigo he had time to take a few births in soul palace + eat some food? Ywach was fighting a nerfed aizen whilst he was at full power and aizen still caused trouble for him. With a few changes ie no seals, training instead of sitting down, aizen would likely be able to be a real threat to yYwatch's health. Just my 2 cents.
@@alispeed5095 Aizen can't do anything to Almighty YH no matter how strong he is. That's why the silver plot arrow was needed. Cause even if Aizen was able to defeat him somehow, YH can just make it so that never happened and bring himself back to life.
10:20 I understood this as either undoing the first seal allowed him to activate KS in some way, which could have given him the control over Kyoraku to make him unlock the others, OR, KS was already activated and when Kyoraku thought he was just unlocking the one seal, he actually unlocked the others as well.
Aizen is probably my favorite villain of all time if I really think about it. He’s honestly got to be the most badass & coolest antagonist in all of anime. So powerful, cunning, cold calm & calculated beyond belief, all the while still exuding such an elegance about him of almost superior & godly nobility. I love it. He’s just to fucking cool lol
When we get to cour 3 and 4 in the anime I'm hoping they expand much of the appearances of Aizen to really add more depth and understanding to his new power levels. The final fight obviously, but even all the prior moments would be well served to have expanded time with him and dialogue from others to give more clarity to the scope of what he can do
For the reset I think it has to do with what Ichigo said. Aizen was lonely, he was so special he felt isolated. But now that he lost he had to reexamine, to realize his Zanpakutou was there and he could at least learn more. For strength I think the final fight is pretty clear. Ichigo had to land the last blow and Bach did say that Ichigo's Bankai had an ability he didn't want to fighting while he never said that for Aizen. Aizen is solidly third strongest alive, not counting maybe Ichibe due to how weird his powers are.
Everybody forgets about that fcking Hogyoku and we still don't know what it is made out of. That shit makes this guy immortal and basically unkillable. What the fck is going on, we are just scratching the surface. Kubo is a genius.
Also worth mentioning that Aizen couldn't prevent Yhwach from ripping off his arm and impaling him through the chest despite Kyoka Suigetsu being active. We later see The arm still missing and chest wound still bleeding even when Kyoka Suigetsu ran out. That also reinforces the idea that Aizen can't control the Illusions when cast on someone far above his level like God Yhwach
ya but can control to a certain extent and more importantly can put him in illusion. Because Yhwach did think it was Ichigo he impailed ripped the arm off.
I always took the scene with Aizen & Kyoraku as that since Aizen had fused with his blade, a single seal off his mouth was enough to allow him to cast the Kyōka Suigetsu projection / Shikai release. But since he was still sealed he couldn't exactly get out, and it seems like Kyoraku picks up on the fact that something is off and doesn't play into Aizens hands here.
The purpose of aizens quote about appearing ro be ichigo is bc he was implaled by yhwach arm. Typically to break the KS spell, u would have to either touch the blade before its release, or be in direct physical contact with aizen.
TYBW versus Deicide Aizen and Ichigo scaling is really convoluted because of the whole transcendent thing and both descend back down to normal levels. It really just depends who wants to argue what, but it's really open to interpretation.
So, Aizen is strong enough to beat the Zero Division during his fight with Ichigo. Then he gets passively stronger in the Muken, and he’s able to fight full power Yhwach and hold his own. So, yea, the answer to “does he deserve a seat at the table” is unequivocally yes.
Curious as to what you think the line meant that Kubo added to the anime about Yhwach being able to kill Aizen during their chat. Was it hubris from Yhwach, and he was overestimating himself? Was it him hinting at Sankt Altar? Maybe he knows that the Hogyoku was part Soul King and that's what gave it its power and since he absorbed the SK do you think he knew he had this power and was planning on it? It's curious that Kubo went out of his way to add that line into the anime for sure
note: also makes sense that aizen met zero squad right before leaving soul society? because his power could possible confuse all of them? i dont remember, at end of aizen being captured they talked about soul king. but aizen must of received his sword then mastered bankai on them
Just imagine aizen , free of the bondage gear , alongside a fully powered ichigo facing ywach , thats what kubo robbed us of . Hopefully the anime corrects that .
Man, I haven't seen the manga and you are spoiling it all for me right now, but I love it and can't stop watching your videos and learning more and more about the yet to be animated parts of Bleach.
Remember that in Bleach's universe sometimes power is not everything, otherwise Hell's Gate will not be capable to hold the things in there, the Yamamoto and other beings in soulsociety help to hold the gate closed, but if power is only thing that matters Yamamoto in Bankai state can simply destroid the gate instead of waiting it opens by its on.
Personally, I think it’s not that he didn’t have control of the illusion he put Ywach under, but rather that he wasn’t sure if he could affect his all seeing ability. After all, how could he possibly test that until that moment? That he says fascinating, shows how he has stabilized himself and gone back to his initial curious scientific mind.
Aizen is immortal, now that he has completely fused with hogyoku he will grow stronger as the time pass and will sooner or later reign on the soul society. It's like an unstoppable snowball.
I jokingly said it back when the English manga had his Hougyouku fusion during the FKT arc, and again in the anime, and again in his reveal in TYBW, and I'm stickin' to it: "Behold...GALVATRON!!" 😏😏😏 Even if he couldn't exactly control it, the fact that it *WORKED* on Yhwach outright makes his Kanzen Saimin just ever so slightly more busted than Almighty. Who knows, maybe Shunsui has to go get Sousuke back out AGAIN to help out in the Hell arc...and we find that not only has he gotten even more powerful, he's attained Bankai, Resurreçíon, AND Ségunda Étapa. Though I guess that in the Hell arc, we won't be seeing Old Man Yamamoto or Soundwave, I mean Tousen, since their bodies were literally annihilated.😮😮😮
I would say that Aizen isn't a hybrid being but his ceiling is just higher and levels of it can be broken through. After the end of the TYBW arc he's only 2nd to Ichigo. Because Ichigo's potential is unlimited while Aizen's potential is great but still limited. He was even powerful enough to use Complete Hypnosis on YHWACH. And this is after he absorbed some of the power of the Soul King. So, it's foolish to underestimate his abilities.
Hey MrTommo! Please do a video on what Kubo would do with Aizen in a possible Hell Arc. He's basically become a god. I wouldn't see him forming an alliance with any big bad, but at the same time I don't think him working with the good guys would happen again either, because we've already been through that, and on top of that he is possibly just stronger than anyone else. I think he would either need to be eliminated/sealed right in the beginning of the arc or there would be some kind of an in-universe rule/law revealed to us that would render him basically useless in this arc.
Excellent analysis . Off hand though and question . I hope the all = 👀 seeing warden is a servant slash avatar ! for the real 👑 king and queen to be fair and not shovenist of Hell that looks like a really 😎 cool fan art . Think the 5th Royal noble family serves him and her as well.
now that I see that analysis not gonna lie I would be intrigue to see at least a skirmish between the TYBW aizen and Ichibē Hyōsube who ever who win they both transcendent in some way what a shinigami can be so even if I think Ichibe would more likely win it could be none the less be an interesting fight
I love Bleach and have been reading it since I was 14 (I'm 34 now, so.... awhile), but man, of all the amazing world building Kubo did, he did not seem to plan out the timeline of anything in Bleach that much. Soul Societies age, how long captains live, how long people have BEEN captains; there's just so much that was ignored or skipped over. There is a lot that is difficult to reconcile for me, and as someone who focuses on world building in the stories I like, I wish the finer details got ironed out.
How powerful do you think Aizen became by the TYBW Arc? Is he still a hybrid being? Let me know your thoughts on where Aizen sits on the hierarchy of Bleach's strongest characters by the end of the series!
Awesome analysis!
I think Ichigo, Aizen and Zaraki are on the same tier of power(transcendent)but with Aizen's immortality, he has quite the advantage.
@@MrGksarathy I disagree...
I will say out of the various appearances of Aizen, the supposed seals created to restrain him as a prisoner to the Soul Society inadvertently just make him look so much cooler.
It's my favorite aizen design, second is the parasol aizen from bbs
It's the Alucard Effect. The more bound up a strong character is when they style all over everyone the cooler they are. Within a degree of reason and proper writing up to that point.
And stronger, in all likelihood. It's just like what happened to Frieza in Super, except with maybe more self-reflection and genuine respect for his main character.
My favourite design of Aizen is still Soul Society Aizen with the glasses. That appearance has him be the most threatening.

Aizen vs yhwach needs to be extended in the anime
Yes!
And "Welcome To *My* Soul Society" and Yhwach reaction would just be perfect.
Can't wait for Aizen's theme on the background as he goes Hadō #99
Why? Extended means we get the same outcome with filler stuff. IT NEEDS COMPLETE REWRITING. We need a true conclusion to Aizen's fate after tybw, not just him dissolving in Bach's fart juices.
It better be extended or I’m gonna be pissed the hell off. It was far too short and we deserved to see Aizen go nuts against Ywach
that is what I want the most in the anime.
Mind you, he couldn't have moved out of the way either😂
He was ready to just tank the crush and survive, the same way he sat through a Kurohitsugi that had captains and Sternritter alike, scurrying away in fear.
😂😂😂
And with Kyoka Suigetsu he fooled a Yhwach with Allmighty active, his perfect hypnosis is just that good.
@@JustAreru That good it was broke after a few seconds
@@thejammyproject Sure that wasn't part of the hypnosis? If it broke he wouldn't have been able to do the whole "You thought you were looking at Kurosaki Ichigo huh? Fascinating"

Aizen made him think all his eyes were open as we see when he was fighting what he thought was Ichigo then stabbed him for Aizen to be reveald, then Ichigo jumps out slices him but look at that all his eyes are actually closed.
That line of Aizen teasing Yhwach with the "oh? You saw Ichigo did you?" Is by far my favorite Aizen moment. That smile on his face is so cold.

@@manuelacosta9463 Right? Aizen is immortal, the tiny games played by the G13 don't matter to him anymore.
Not only that, he would need to blast past the 72 barriers and then destroy the palace, which is probably made of very dense reiatsu.
😂
“Just put my reiatsu in the bag bro”
Indeed. A well written character.
It really makes me want to see him in the possible Hell Arc. Although there needs to be a good reason for him to get involved

@@sanddry738 So who was maintaining the balance during the time skip?
Or was the throne left empty?
That's pretty cool. Never thought about it
That's a good interpretation.
There is no reason to think thats what happened.
That is also what I thought
@@tatocezar1there is all the reason to think that was the case. It's Aizen
Here’s to hoping we get to see Aizen and ichigo working alongside eachother in the hell arc
Thats how i understood it too
I always found Aizen to be much more interesting and terrifying when using only his already immense power as a shinigami without any outside influence.
Damn Yhwach sees every future yet he didn't saw how he'll die in an embarassing way🤣
Ywha met the man in muken cause he was skared of him. The man is sealed and yet He broke the Word broken
"And this, Ywach, is to go even further beyond." - Aizen, calmly, before revealing yet another power up.
My head canon is that the Bleach universe ends when Aizen emerges from his 20.000 years sentence, and, to Kyoraku asking him how it feels to be free again, he simply responds with a smirk and two words: "Ban Kai"
😮
That would be perfect! A story without a happy end. OR everything that happened was Aizen his Bankai and he put everyone and everything in a permanend dreamstate.

All I can say - Aizen is the best fictional character ever
Easily

Short answer, yes. He remains powerful enough to influence major events. More so than some of the so-called king’s guard.
Great video, one of the best you’ve done. 🏆 it’s only missing Aizen’s interactions with more of the main cast like Rukia and the other Vice Captains who initially saw him after Shunsui let him out.
I remember in the Lord they said that if you've achieved bankai, your shikai can come out without command which means technically that activation ritual can be at will
Great video. One thing I like about the anime is that Yhwach confirmed that Aizen is still merged with the Hogyoku when they talked in anime.
I'd imagine the suit was put on while Kisuke had him bound, and probably developed by (and placed on him) by Kisuke as well, so that could solve that mystery
It is stated the suit was created by Mayuri
i wouldn't take any villain over Aizen even if we somehow manage to live through the thousand year blood war of waiting for the "Hell Arc" and it delivers us a great villain then i would still want Ichigo VS Aizen to be the final battle of that arc
Nah I think after TYBW no point of Aizen to fight with Ichigo. What I personally want to see is Aizen becoming Ichigo's son Kazui"s Mentor cuz that kid is fricking OP
@@kenzotenma5226 Imagine Kazui calling him Uncle Aizen.
Watching this again prior to Cour 3 Ep 4. Looking forward to Aizen’s battles and conversations with anyone involved with him in the past.

I’ve been waiting for this video, thank you
Love how in depth you are

The fact that he was able to go challenge SK Yhwach speaks volumes. Dude has the power to run circles around the Almighty.

When we get to cour 3 and 4 in the anime I'm hoping they expand much of the appearances of Aizen to really add more depth and understanding to his new power levels. The final fight obviously, but even all the prior moments would be well served to have expanded time with him and dialogue from others to give more clarity to the scope of what he can do
Shunsui going to meet Sousuke alone is lowkey unprecedented Him energy.
In tybw he still has the hogyoku so it's basically limitless if needed.

Their fight was great. Everyone knew yawach was leagues above aizen and was gonna win but aizens tricks gave ichigo the opportunity nobody else could.
@@jamesgleason6870 Fair point 😊. Wish it was all 5 war threats \ potentials / vs Sk. Ywach with stolen C.C. Yamamoto in all.
Due to what Ichigo said about Aizen, I always thought that he could break out once he wanted to.
So, Aizen is strong enough to beat the Zero Division during his fight with Ichigo. Then he gets passively stronger in the Muken, and he’s able to fight full power Yhwach and hold his own. So, yea, the answer to “does he deserve a seat at the table” is unequivocally yes.
Who else "seats at the table?"
Arthur and his knights
21:40 I always saw this as Aizen simply taunting YWACH for not being able to see through something despite his incredible power
Aizan upgrade was his cool new chair fitted for a king like himself lol
Curious as to what you think the line meant that Kubo added to the anime about Yhwach being able to kill Aizen during their chat. Was it hubris from Yhwach, and he was overestimating himself? Was it him hinting at Sankt Altar? Maybe he knows that the Hogyoku was part Soul King and that's what gave it its power and since he absorbed the SK do you think he knew he had this power and was planning on it?
It's curious that Kubo went out of his way to add that line into the anime for sure
*Babe, I gotta go. New MrTommo just dropped*
_huh? Wait wh-_
*Its an Aizen video*
_understandable, have a nice day_
note: also makes sense that aizen met zero squad right before leaving soul society? because his power could possible confuse all of them? i dont remember, at end of aizen being captured they talked about soul king. but aizen must of received his sword then mastered bankai on them
Great vídeo man
Just imagine aizen , free of the bondage gear , alongside a fully powered ichigo facing ywach , thats what kubo robbed us of . Hopefully the anime corrects that .
I think at the very least, the most powerful captains can be around Aizen enough to get the black suit on him. Like anyone near Kisuke's level.
It does feel like if there is ever an underworld arc, Aizen could make a Frieza like resurection to primary villain of the series
This animated is probably going to be the Ulqiorra vs White of the TYBW arc.
I jokingly said it back when the English manga had his Hougyouku fusion during the FKT arc, and again in the anime, and again in his reveal in TYBW, and I'm stickin' to it: "Behold...GALVATRON!!" 😏😏😏
Even if he couldn't exactly control it, the fact that it *WORKED* on Yhwach outright makes his Kanzen Saimin just ever so slightly more busted than Almighty.
Make a video on how strong was captain aizen without hogyoku fused.
Great video, thoughtful language and a talent for imagery
Remember, the latest arc mention that Aizen was one of the person keeping hell's gate in check.
Ichigo has unlimited potential and reiatsu but Aizen just has unlimited reiatsu
Kubo making him " Look to your roots, that when youre getting better"
I'm making lunch, and I was wondering when tommo was going to post another video. My question was answered 2 minutes later.
I hope they extend the Ichigo x Aizen vs Yhwach in the anime. One of the greatest moments in the history of shonen
I always loved the way bleach portrayed seals.
now that I see that analysis not gonna lie I would be intrigue to see at least a skirmish between the TYBW aizen and Ichibē Hyōsube who ever who win they both transcendent in some way what a shinigami can be so even if I think Ichibe would more likely win it could be none the less be an interesting fight
Aizen the ultimate reaper, and we never get a bankai out of him.
