Just finished building this Friday. I left the Hrududu 2 off of it because I always felt it made the TR-5 have just a little too much going on. I took the two shield boosters off of the Advanced Hazel and connected the Hrududu 2 onto the moveable shield booster latch. Both look DOPE now and I put my extra shield boosters on the Titans Byarlant, where the tanks go on the Byarlant Custom and IT looks dope. Gotta love these Titan MS and their modular compatibility!
Btw, those extra wings on that D runner and that small stand is for the booster that comes with the OG Gaplant. I glued the smaller wings onto the Hrududu 2. I did this because the new P-Bandai Hrududu 2 that is going on sale soon comes with wings and I like the look.
It does, plus all those modifications are completely possible in canon. I can't stress how awesome the Byarlant looks with two blue shield boosters instead of those unweildy tank thrusters on the Byarlant Custom. Another combo I got going with the Advanced Hazel is that I can still put the advanced shield booster on one side, and the Hrududu 2 on the other. I got the idea from the interwebs, check it out. I have like 8 different Titans MS now, gotta start getting the newer ones like the Hazenthlay and that Hazel 2 TR-6, Primrose and Hrududus. Then it's gon be bananas.
Looks like the rerelease has quality issues. I have the first release and I never had issues with the kit falling apart... But truth be told, the original Gaplant does a perfect transformation compared to this which forces you to partsform. Still looks good though. Also, I think he fitted the port for the stand in the crotch in reverse. I have never seen mine flop like that no matter what.
Yea its a total hand grenade, I love the MS design and how there is a version that uses the Psycho Gundam arms, but the model out of the box is ASS. It's 100% because of the age of the kit. If it were made today I'm sure it would be rock solid instead of a 2006 tech janky mess. I bought it when I first started modeling years back and let me tell you, that thing gave me so much trouble that I basically stood it up after building it and never touched it again. Over the years I have basically stopped buying any Gundam kits unless they are Advance of Zeta MS and/or Feddy/Zeon MS relating to Advance of Zeta. Once we were able to combine it with a Woundwort to create the Gaplant II, I used it for that. But even knowing what a pain in the butt this kit is, I saw the Hrairoo out in the wild at a brick and mortar recently and I bought the kit AGAIN lol! I got it for the completionist angle to my collection and this time I'm painting it and transforming it into the MA form and that's how it will stay, unless I ever maybe buy a second Hazel Gigantic Arm Unit and turn it into a Gaplant Gigantic Arm Unit... but yea this model is for looks only, good luck trying to put it in any sort of dynamic pose that looks good!

The little stand thing is for the regular HGUC Gaplant's optional gigantic booster.
