When it comes down to these cars it’s a drivers race. I own a 21’ widebody scat pack Challenger with a manual. When I took my Veteran mechanic (that builds engines and turbo mustangs) for a ride in it he was quite shocked how much power the car had and pick up speed even for how heavy it is. Don’t underestimate that big Hemi.
As someone who has owned both a 2021 scat pack and a 2023 camaro ss 1le, i will say that it comes to preference. I loved my dodge and i love my chevy. My camaro has a little more pull on the line i noticed but the scat would catch up and slowly edge in front. Depends what you want it for, the scat was made for the drag strip, the camaro 1le was made for the track. Respect to both cars, at least they arent mustangs 😆 😂 jk

@@CLIFFORD392 those same cars run 12s on the shitty stock street tires they come with from the factory. Elevation is a thing, vegas is about 2000ft above sea level but idk it only 2000 feet would hurt it that much
Every 1000 ft above sea level is like losing 3.5% hp. 2000 above sea level is 7% loss. 485 - 7%= 451 at crank. Who knows if they are running 91 octane or 93 or even 87. Lower octane could result in lost power too.

Las Vegas is 2k ft above sea level. Even with street tires and an above 2.0 60' time I would expect both of these cars to be at least high 12s.
