I go with what Terrance Dicks said. Thank you for the video.
I go with the Target Novel events as it make sense and nicely ties in with how the Computers is so confused about who it is, just like the Doctor was post regeneration
Love this! I agree with the novelization---sometime between the Doctor putting on that scarf and the disintegration of the Robot. Watched the episodes and read the book in my college dorm room over 40 years ago---talk about gaps in time!
@@TheMikester307 awesome 😊
It's interesting that I've seen this serial many times. I know the Doctor had been there before and I never once asked "when was the Doctor here?"
This story is awesome in billions of ways.
Awesome
He clearly arrived there just after the 3rd Doctor visited Karfel
@@whophd it was the fourth doctor that first visit the planet though. 😄
I go Target because there is another story that has to be set during Robot - the comic book Death Flower. So you have to assume the Doctor and Sarah have a few days on Earth whilst she's mourning the Robot and Kettlewell, and a couple of adventures fit in. The 4th and Sarah do Death Flower, then the 4th just sneaks off one night, like Dicks says, comes back, realising Sarah still needs him, 'collects' her and Harry inadvertently, and there you are.
@@JeremiahEcks777 that fit's in 👌
It would have become good if there was a prequel minisode which we saw The 4th Doctor repair Xoanon thus setting the events of Face of Evil.
@@danielwilliamson6180 I don't know, the fourth doctor was responsible for xoanon developing schizophrenia because he went there in the first place & linking his brain. but if he didn't go there I'm pretty sure xoanon would of been fine.
Before I knew the 4th doctor when I was a kid I've watched the series 13 on dvd no blu ray release and watched s14 blu ray. The story could've been done a number of ways
I go with the Target Novelization. I also liked and subscribed because this was a very interesting video!
@@cindydott452 glad you enjoyed the vid 😊
@@thewhoview 👍😁
Never read the discontinuity guide and assumed that Mordee was the name of the explorer who led the expedition not the name of the planet. I saw the episode on its original broadcast and actually back then was not concerned with details like that. The Doctor went where he went and did what he did and you just went along for the ride (like the companion). i am not a fan of 'canon' or continuity dis or otherwise because it restricts the viewers imagination.
I have a few of the Target books, But truth is I've never read any of them
@@stephenclaridge1896 nothing wrong with that. 😊
