    😂 this guy really acted like he was having a conversation with his fish at the beginning was pretty goddamn funny I must say!

    Im in the uk and use prazi-pro too. If your having trouble with fish not eating medicated food I had success by adding a few drops of hemp oil to the mixture, fish love hemp. You can get small bottles of hemp oil on ebay or from most fishing tackle shops.

    I have lost 2 puffs already. My third abs last puff has stopped eating but is still decent size. I've tried Kanaplex and Polyguard with no success. Do you think it's too late to try Prazipro? Have you successfully saved any Puffs that have stopped eating and gotten them to eat again?
    Thanks for what you do! Love your videos. This gathering of information is much needed in this hobby!

      Christi Thank you. It’s super hard to get skinny puffs to eat. If the pea is still a healthy size then it’s not too late to give PraziPro a go. Super easy instructions for dosing too. My current peas were the biggest the store had. I found babies extremely prone to Internal Parasites. Good luck! Hope the healthy sized one starts eating again. I haven’t had any success getting skinny peas who aren’t eating to eat. I know the Aquarium Co Op channel on TH-cam has a method for internal parasites. They use 3 Medications though.

      Christi kanaplex only works when injected but causes kidney damage. Studies have shown that nearly all of these medications don’t work in the water as the molecules are too large to go pass through the fish’s gills and fish don’t drink. Their skin don’t absorb the medication either. Only works when added to food. Try antibiotics in their food.

      @@infiniity5529injection?like with a needle and syringe?or force feeding? When you say the medication only works when eaten- not osmosis- are you talking about main ingredient in kanaplex or all fish meds? I actually did two ten day rounds of feeding metroplex and kanaplex with focus in repashi gel food, blood worms and pellates and I didn’t get much of an improvement on guppy/endler and no improvement on my poor betta.. thank you

    Hi! I have beautiful Anubius also but I'm having an issue with green spot algae on the leaves. Especially the taller leaves. My algae eating shrimp, nerite snail, and panda garra don't seem to make a difference. I do water changes weekly and have no other algae issues. I do not use LED lighting. I have a regular old school non-plant tube bulb. 20 high tank with no more than 8hrs of light. How do you keep your leaves algae free?
    Love your videos btw!

    It’s all guesswork with the diagnosis unless you use a microscope to actually see what’s causing the disease/illness. A microscope is a good investment in this case. I’m also treating with prazipro as I’ve noticed my fish gasping at the surface a lot with no other symptoms. Hope it works

      INFINIITY Thanks. It seems to have works great. I dose the tank ever 3-4mo this to be safe. Yeah it is our best guess sometimes.

      Pea Puffer Kingdom hey I haven’t noticed any difference don’t know if it worked it’s hard to tell. I see, is dosing after 3-4 months not too much? Atm I’m feeding them medicated food mixed with antibiotics metroplex and a wormer

      lol- I would t know what I’m looking at- mr betta: I diagnose you with tiny squiggly things! I tried feeding metroplex- whichithouhht was a dewormer- ten days 2x and I saw no improvement. In trying this now. I’m so tempted to make a vet appt because I’ve spent so much on meds it probably would have been cheaper.

      All meds got banned in Canada. It worked for me great tho I was adviced to not use it because pea puffers have no scales. Worked super

    When you did your next dose did you have to do a water change again?

    • @peapufferkingdom118
      @peapufferkingdom118  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. 5 - 7 days after the second dose too. Just make sure you take out any carbon pads you may have in your filter during the treatment.

      If you are in the UK i bought Prazipro for £10 plus £5 postage and packaging. Esha NDX works for others and easier to get hold of but it didn't work for me. Of course Prazipro also takes a week-2 weeks to arrive from the U.S so it's best to have a treatment ready at all times with Peas. PraziPro worked well for me but once they stop eating it's almost impossible to bring them back as they are so weak.
