Lovely garden. Weren't those poppies unusual? Love the big clumps of Heleniums. They are one of my favourite plants at this time of the year. Hope you both have a wonderful weekend and the weather stays nice for you. Been glorious today and so hot but maybe it felt like that as I was cutting the grass! September is often nice, just as the schools re-open! Take care. xxx
They were so unusual weren't they? We've never seen poppies that colour before. Heleniums are lovely too, we would grow so many more if it wasn't for the slugs, we have a hard time getting the two we have through unscathed! It's a nice change to see the sun back yesterday but it's fairly cloudy today and rain is predicted for tomorrow here. Andrew's got through his first week back at school. The summer holidays seemed to fly by. Have a great weekend Wendy xxx
I planned to visit this year but haven't got round to it yet. I live in Scotland so it needs planning to make a weekend of it. I watched the documentary about it which was really interesting.
You'll have to visit a few places in the area and make the most of your visit Sharon. We volunteered when it was just an overgrown site so it's been great to follow its development over the years. Have a great weekend.
