Tried following but got stuck at 4:20 where I can't understand how to change the canvas size (or whatever it is you are doing there to make the picture fit. :-( I'll go on to someone else's tutorial. Bummer. It looked really easy

Not sure whey you didn't just open the images as layers from LightRoom to PS, would've been much easier.

Is photo shop Better on laptop or is it the same also is it free?
Photoshop is not free. It is available via the Creative Cloud (CC) for around 12,- / Month. Because of that, I changed to "Affinity Photo". This costs about 49,- once(!) and is the absolute best alternative.
Was hoping to see how to do the photo on the thumbnail :/
maybe it's the resolution of the video but I can not see the symbol for smart object on your layers... which means they are flat raster images... if this is the case, you should ABSOLUTELY NEVER resize your image down and then re-size it back up like you did, if you want to see the pronounces reason why you should never do that, scale them down to tiny, hit enter to save the raster, then resize it back up to full canvas size, it will be completely destroyed. Always use smart objects or if you absolutely need to raster it, make sure you never resize and commit transform to a size lower than you will ever need.
If there is something going on that negates what I am saying I would love to see an explanation.
detore Yeah I normally work with smart layers but I forgot in the tutorial lol

A free alternative to Photoshop would be Gimp! Paint . net is free also and may be easier to use. :-)
