Best use: I would put them on my bathroom's ceiling, would have crazy showers (and concerts).
That would be soooo awesome.... but have you heard about moisture 🤔
@@Holyguaka some LED strips are waterproof
Melika Nassizadeh Moisture would ruin the adhesive
I use minger
Party in da shower 😳😳😳
I haven’t watched Alex in 3 years and he’s STILL talking about LED strips.
Yeah but now he gets paid in led strips...😂😂
It's been around 3 years for me too, and he still hasn't sorted out his hair! and whats that bum fluff on his chin 😂
@@vxs6052 its puberty 😂🤣
Him:write what you use it for and the best will win. Me:my 5 year old brother has cancer and he only has 5 days to live but he said when he dies he wants the finest leds on his memorial🥺🙏that’s what I would use them for

My best use: currently remodeling my room and wanted to buy led lights. came to youtube to find good ones and found your video
Bro same lol
@@bobbybonks3582 what are the best one he mentioned
Ibrahim Alasadi they’re linked in the description
Literally what I’m doing right now
Haha same
He must be going crazy by now, he’s been all about led strips for 3 years
Best use case: I put an LED strip along the staircase and connect it to the motion sensor above and below the staircase, so it lights up the whole staircase when people walk up or down the stairs. My mom cannot see very well in the dark and had a few injuries from walking down the stairs at night. She is very happy with the installation and felt much safer walking on the stair at night now being able to see each step she makes!
Could've just turned the light on aswell
@@IndicaAU 😂😂😂
@@IndicaAUcould have been down stairs
Best use: To go around my room or around my bed.
Yup
I'M NOT shirt spotted brooo!! ❤
Why don't you have a tick
@@karenallan8594 he does
Ohhh has to be my bedroom, gives that smooth feeling when lights get dimmed down low...absolutely love it..🕺
Best use case for me is more of an ambient and atmospheric light, i like to game but don't always like having my harsh Room lights on and LEDs just for-fill the requirement that combined with the ease of use, mountability and cost make the excellent choice of light.
Best use case: I’ve been looking to get a LED strip for my project in product design at sixthform and this would work perfectly
Saw you on your MarzBar channel years ago when you were doing a house tour @ your parents place and saw the lighting in your room I didn't even know stuff like that existed. A few mins on Amazon and 2 days later, I owned several of the ones you bought. Thanks buddy!
Best Use Case: Setting a colour temperature with an alarm to wake up to!
The production quality and flow of this video is sooooo refreshing! And it was mad helpful, thank you so much!
I legit was look for hours on amazon comparing lol then decided to TH-cam and this is the perfect video!! Thanks so much
Best use: to chill in my room with good lighting
Just for those who are going to use this review... Opard ones are great the first couple weeks of so but over time they are really poor. Keep losing connection and they just keep failing. If you try to use the strips around your bed or tv the connections keep breaking. Just avoid them at all cost!
Under couch for mood lighting for movies. Turn down nice and low 🔥🔥
Been wanting this video for years! Thanks Alex 😊
Best use case: Ambient study light when studying for long hours
Best use: put the on my younger bros setup as hes always wanted them
Best use case: to make me feel at home in my uni room, I find it quite hard being away from home so having an LED strip under my uni desk will make my room feel more homely
I would use them for under my bed and behind my tv. I had some previous strips but the leds popped. So knowing you recommend them is a big bonus 🤩
Best use would be for starting my desk setup, really need to build a desk and light it properly somehow. Love the content!
Best use case: Ambient lighting for the TV. I would use Home Assistant to automate it only to turn on when its after sunset.
Best Use Case: to improve my streaming setup so it looks cooler and helps my eyes out so gaming doesn't chalk them completely haha
Love to use these for ambient lighting around tv’s monitors back of couches. Literally everywhere. Alexa enables would be awesome
We use LED strips for our photography lighting & cool effects in the background. Usually USBs while we’re out and about and DC power inside but they’re just so useful & the effects are great
Best use: to cover my toilet seat
😂
What if u pee on it
@@samiverse._ nah i poop on it

Best use case: mount them behind my desk to perfectly light up my setup
I just graduated from college, and I invested in a desk set up with Ikea Alex drawers and it is a dream come true! Been going through financial issues but want to keep upgrading my set up! I'd love to have the strips behind the desk and monitor to raise the vibe levels to MAX!
Best use I would have of them is for my Marine Reef Tank for both under plinth lighting and for interval showing off the sump area and equipment.
Best Use Case: to add some awesome lighting effects while streaming also help light up my desk to help with eye strain
Hey I’m from Jamaica 🇯🇲 and I would love those to use for a background lighting for my room
I found this very helpful, thankyou!
Best Use Case: Replace my accent lighting in my kitchen as currently using old Christmas lights to accent light the kitchen. Great review video Alex! Big fan! 🤠
Best Use: Put them in my room to make my room much smarter than it looks put them at the top of bedroom wall.
Daniel Mercer yeah that’s what you do with led’s
Govee does have smart rgb led strips and they just stomp all over these last 2 led strips you reviewed , They get far brighter and more colorful with more functions.
Are they expensive?????
@@Cookie-nc2tfyes
Can't go wrong with Dreamscreen enhancing your tv viewing. In HD and 4k viewing. Awsome!
Best use!! Finishing touch for my daughters bedroom redec for her birthday!
Best User Case: My main light for my room recently broke and so now the only way to get light in is to open the window so I would use the LED Strip to light up my room
Would be cheaper to buy a new bulb
@@hweezy9570 it's not the bulb that's broke, the whole light fitting came off the roof and so it doesn't work with any bulb so the led strip would be much appreciated
@@myjrbs oh ok
@@hweezy9570 if TH-cam allowed pictures I would show you and then you could see, it's come away from the roof completely, you can see the electronics and stuff
APC999!!! Omg. How'd u do that 😂😂😂. Also yeah an electrician would be really expensive. Like £50 for the parts and like £100 labor if not more. Get a good led set that can also be controlled by your phone ( the controllers tend to be shit) and it will cost way less then sorting that out
Literally tossed two just because they didn’t work for google like at least talk about em 🥺
Yeah fr, I don’t even have a smart device i want to hear how they would’ve compared
Govee lights are literally better than these 2 finalists, also govee has alexa and google assistsnt support and they are working on siri control
Ye lol was thinking this. Govee is literally the best, why would you need voice assistant for LEDs?
@@TC-qw3lr so they are fully “smart”
I wished I saw your your review last night!!!
I spent 3 hours researching the cheapest waterproof music synch LED strip based on delivery within a 2 days, this was because I needed this for a Valentines day event.
However being a SMART LED would be a bonus as it would allow the freedom to operate from another location.
I wanted to buy the GOVEE Dream colour MINGER through Amazon, but it was either not available or it exceeded the required delivery date. Therefore I purchased the Govee Music Sync Phone APP Controlled RGB Rope Light for £25 to be delivered same day.
I was very surprised to find that the OPARD for £20 SMART LED strip won out of all the others!!
However you did not mention if it also had the music synch feature too.
If it does come with music synch, I certainly would have purchased the OPARD because it offers most of my needs for a party for an amazing price.
Thank you for sharing and I shall consider OPARD SMART LED for my next project.
Always a fan of under the bed lighting! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I want to put one of these strips in my studio so when I put the mic live they automatically turn red
We just reviewed a set from Walmart that are pretty decent...
3411 Heaven Media yo jak
what is the brand
Best case for me would be for my van, trying to make it into a day van but also pack it with as much tech as I can 👌🏼
Loved the vid. Personally I don't use the smart app but a motion sensor to light up a dark windowless hallway in my flat. Cheers!
I need it cuz i just moved and i want to make my room look amazing
Best Use Case: Keeping the moths in one place 😝.

Omg I’ve been watching you for some time your videos are great I really wanna get some led strips for my house I’ve been looking on amazon for ages but never know which ones to get really hope to win this as these can be hella expensive
Hi TechFlow. The Govee light strip you reviewed does work with Google assistant as I have them in my bedroom and able to change colour and on/off with Google. My Govee LED strips are the H6159.
Best use case would be to kit out my little ones bedroom
I literally just bought the hue strip when u released the video
Wow, your real late to the game mate
Chlero's eyes sure am man
Best case use for me: i'm in the middle of installing a false ceiling with the plans of having LED stripes under it to shine through diffuser panels
best use case is mood lighting in general
i prefer them behind the desk but i also have them around my bed
I need 65ft which one do you recommend?
Billy737 I have grovee it’s 5ft but if u buy two there are parts to connect
i got a govee on amazon with a 32 ft for $20 and i just bought two
I bought a $40 Tenmiro LED strips that are 65.4 feet. They are pretty good
Wish you would have still talked about the lights that didn’t have “smart” functionality. I don’t use smart devices, Bluetooth is all I want and would have liked too see how all the LED’s worked out.
Thx for the review I got the opard and they are awesome thx
Best use case! Finishing my gaming setup! And making my room complete
i have 3 dreamcolour at home, love them. should work with Alexa
2:31 and that's when he caught the ole 'rona.
You haven't put a link to the final two in the description. I'm looking for the Lumary in the final two. Thanks
My favourite is WenTop. I use these LED strips. The app is amazing and really easy to use and when I had an issue with mine they have sent one out for no cost. Overall I’m really happy with the light strips and they are smart too. I have the 2x5M led strips FYI.
The govee ones work with Alexa and its also sound activated so lights interact with sound. I have them and they are great!!
I’m thinking about getting them is there anything I need to know before I do??
@@luzlieu9174 i'm wondering the same
@@julia-py8iy I recently just bought them and they come in on the 23 so if there’s anything then I’ll let you know but they seem pretty good and I got the ones with a remote and smart phone, 32.2ft
9:48 did he just give a point to Lumary for being 8 pounds more expensive?
Why are you the only one commenting on this, haha? I was so confused!
I thought I was the only one who noticed this! So weird
Best use case is definitely lighting my desk setup/ room.
Best LED updates, thank you much!
I am really annoyed cus I have the govee dream colour and they are so good cus just like lifx z strips they can do different colours in different zones on one strip
Also there are user diys and amazing customer service
Led light strips are so good that are my favorite thing in the whole world! I would love if you could give me a light strips can you please. You are the best choose me
Eyy wazzupp MarzBar!! It's been 4 years since I've last watched your video. I think it was a setup tour of yours
Best use: Place them around the kitchen in our student accommodation for pres/house parties 🥳🥳🥳
Best use: for my setup I’m building and saved up for ages
Why this dude lookin like a tik tok e-boy in the thumbnail
Best Use Case: I actually attached them under my lounge suite. So when I would like to set different moods, just got my trusty LED's in place. Really works well, would recommend to anyone. Also makes the sofas look like they are floating.
Lets goo..i am upgrading my room and they are the key to everything!!!
never have i had such a video so targeted toward me before
The winner looked really good but they don’t ship to the united States. 😢
Christian Solis SAd
Same, they dont ship to Germany
Christian Solis ikkkkkk it SUCKS😔
Behind the tv to create that better ambience :) love the video
Thanks for the video, lot of explanation 👍
I want them because I don’t have lights in my room and they would help a lot
Do you at least have a light bulb =,=
I do but it dose not work that good
Ryder Long oh ok
Sadly i've never had LED strips :(
Well, let us know what you'd use them for and you could win a pair!
@@techflow Id probably use them to put around my desk or even just around my room to make the atmosphere look on point.
5 quid a roll on ebay
Thank you so much, you realy helped me!
Best use case. To use the LEDs flashing madly,to warn others, in case I ever catch the coronavirus. Much better than a noisy bell!
Best Use case: Gaming setup like you suggested back in 2018 for a Gaming setup still works a treat. Love your vlogs keep up the good work man ( I also have the same setup you suggested in our kitchen ) Your vlogs cost me too much £££s lol
Nice video. Congrats. For me the best use is for sure as a presence light under the bed.
I'm going to put some strips behind my bedframe (all white bedroom set up) to make some light really pop as well as put some behind my tv to enhance my tv setup (also a white theme).
My best use is for around my desk or tv. These will be useful as I am going to university soon.
Best use would be around the skirting boards some nice effects if done properly
These would be great for my kids bedrooms, can set up schedules for colour to change to reflect when to stay in bed and when its okay to get up and a double up as night lights.
Where did you get your space man in the background from?? It’s awesome!
What about if you're looking to light up large rooms? How long can you find them. Or, is there a way to connect multiple strips together?
this is my first time ive seen any of your videos and i noticed your wrist tatoo and i must say im so proud of you :)
Thanks for doing this.
Where do I get one of those Spaceman/Astronaut statues that you have behind you?
best use: full ceiling lighting for studio space (like the floor from Tron legacy)
Best use, lighting under a snooker table
Best use case- to give some good lighting when studying to be more productive but also to get the party started when studying is over :)
I've been having an issue buying LED strips that work as I need them to ..... I have several that work perfect. I set them to a slow color fade, then turn the light switch off that controls them and when I come back and flip the switch they go back to the slow fade. I have recently purchased the same brand with different results. Do you know of an inexpensive brand that will hold or remember it's last setting? ..... (preferably short length ... around 6.5f) ... thanks
For that mood lighting in the bedroom bro 🤫😉
