Actually chuckled at the comment "to check they're not broken like my fragile heart". Good video: funny and informative at the same time
This is a Southern girl for sure…..thank you so much, keep the southern swag going!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I was struggling to understand how people put corner on their strips and I even attempted to bend my strips. Thank you for the tutorial 😊
glad i could help!!!
Thank you for making this so blatantly simple to figure out!!! You r adorable btw
I love your energy in this video ❤
I love the personality you bring to your channel!
OMG your nephew was so happy so wholesome 😊
Because of you, I'll actually purchase some LED lights. I want to see how difficult it is to put them up. I didn't even know the right questions to ask. This is a great video.
Didn't know corner connectors was a thing until this video. Thanks
Thank you so much for doing this video. I really needed help putting on my LED lights in this helped me so much.
I’m glad to see I don’t need to cut them to go to the next wall!
Had fun watching you. Thanks for the video.
Very good video. Thank you so much. I only want to do it on a small wall luckily but hopefully with your helpful video I will do it successfully. I work in inches and from the UK fyi :)
glad my measurements were helful!
This was a nice "how to" video. great vibrations, informative and to the point. Beatboxing approved ✅
Thank you this was very helpful. Fast and informative video.
Do more DIY vids. Very easy to follow and watch
I need more projects but thank you will keep trying!
Thank you this really helped I just got LED lights today for my room after begging my mom for months
No more beatboxing sounds but the lighting is lit Jen Jen. Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰🥰
thank you!! :)
Ok I’m about to put this in my living room! Thx Ms country accent lo
Thank you!! Super helpful stuff. Also nice beat boxing skills lol
Wow he looks so happy!
This was adorable, you are hilarious I have a 5YO and 15YO that want these light and I'm trying to accommodate. BUT WE FAILED 3 TIMES...
Oh noo. Lol. Did you ever figure it out? My 9 y.o. asked me for led lights last year and I bought one box and got nervous about trying to do it and then realized I didn't include the wall top to bottom to reach the electrical socket. So I reordered longer led lights and since then, both boxes have been sitting untouched in my son's room.. 😂 I feel like it's soo easy until you need to cut for corners. And then another thing that's confuses me is. Do I need to cut for every single corner? I can't tell if Jen does it.🤷🏽♀️
yeah its pretty helpful. not too hard. i just got some of my kids lights set up
Well done! Great job and funny too!
How to attach behind the monitor?
Girl this maths got me confused lol but i love you already
haha thanks for the love!
Do we need to cut and add the corner peice for all 4 wall corners?
Thanks So Much I Love This Video! Liked And Subscribed
Thank you you helped me 😊😊
Love this ❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome!🫡
I thought I could do this…🥴 I was trying to Surprise my Kids and Husband. I’m still going to surprise Him; order it; take it to Him on His Day off and ya know just leave it to Him! I mean he is an electrician so this should be simple for Him! 😂
haha yes love this! haha
@9:49 when u accidentally step on your cat’s tail
Tysm
It literally takes a woman to make sense of anything 😉 the guy’s videos make it rocket Science thanks to you I could pick it up and do it tomorrow. 😁
Yes glad the video helped!! :)
also why these look like shit and you can see each individual LED it should be diffused for a streamlined look
@@Rixicc ayo shut up, a lot of people like the individual led better and its not even ur room so shut it
Can you give me the link on what the brand of lights you used or where to get them
Where did u plug it in??
This is great, I have to do this tonight and just got a lot of questions answered. How’s the tape held up? Did you ever have to use thumb tacks as well or was the tape enough for the painted wall?
The tape still held on well!! No need for thumb tacks! :)
But if your paint is not easy to stick on, I suggest rubbing alcohol or sanding it so it would be easy stick on!
Does the red tape comes with it
On some led boxes it specifically says DO NOT TURN ON LIGHTS WHEN ROLLED it can cause explosions and fires
Ty
Wow she‘s beautiful!
Also a very great video, like ❤️
Are you removing protective adhesive wrapper as you go along or remove it all at once ??
i am removing it as i go along! that way you can place it smoothly!
Very nice video. How did you do the voice over?
How do I put it only on the ceiling with 1 led strip lights because I don’t want some on the wall to so do I need to buy at least 5 so I can put some on the wall to cause I don’t want them to be uneven…
Do you place the lights on the edge of the ceiling or the top edge of the walls???
top edge of walls!
Can you cut the wall light if you just want one side of the wall? Just wondering
Yes you can!
Very funny and cute ❤
also you need to color the walls in white it will look better with led light
This is so cool anyways hi I'm new😊❤
What part of the south are you from Jen?
Do you have suggestions of a brand to buy? I got a set and they didn’t work which I’m sad about
Left an Amazon link or Govee!!
@@yasitsjlegot govee ones and I love them! Thank you so much since I’ve wanted to do this for a while
Red tape? Was that included inside the box? I used the link you placed on this vid.
yes!
I loved the video! But I have two questions tho: Is the Corner strip included, when I order it from amazon? And if they are, how many are included?
yes it is included!
She is lying!
I think it depends on the set you get
doesn't she sound like georgia from"ginny and georgia "
Did the connectors come with the led lights? If so i don’t think i got any with minds i ordered from go old Temu
The lights came with the connectors !!
If you check my Amazon link it should’ve included everything
Thank you!
Awesome video! But no more beat boxing sounds 🤣
This is the hardest thing ever ugh 😩!!!
I have some questions if you don't mind. Why did you leave a gap? Do you only need one corner connector? Also does the corner connector come with the lights? Where did you get the sticky pad to stick them to the wall and the littleclip things to make it secure? Do these come with the lights or did you have to purchase them seperately? Where did you purchase your strip lights from? Do you need the mains power supply plugged in all the time or can you just unplu the little white box thing that connects the strip lights into the AC adapter and plug into another room? The reason I ask this is because unfortunately the room I would like to put the strip lights in, which is my hall/entranceway and I don't have any mains sockets in that room and I don't want any trailing leads from an extnetion lead. Many thanks and thanks once again for a very informative easy to follow video. Btw, you are also very funny :)
I put them up today and I can answer some. The gaps were because of the wires that connected the strip to the black part/the part where you can connect other parts of the light with. Also yeah it only comes with one corner connector and some backup pieces for it. (I don't recommend using a tweezer because it messed up the connection the receptors had for me) and the corner connector came with the lights for me along with the sticky pad. I bought mine on Amazon :)
@@calliou_001 Thank you so much, my lovely. Really appreciate all the advice. He looked really pleased with them, bless him. Can you come round and do mine 😂 😉
Sorry I didn't answer right away glad you got your solutioin!
is it safe to paste Led strip light on iron objects?
I don't see any issues with that! maybe try a small strip first and test
She sounds like Georgia off of Ginny and Georgia ❤😂
Nice great job hope I do as well 😮😊
you got thiss!
Need a diffuser
You had extra wire why did you have a gap on the end of the second wall?
Have you had any issues with this brand while you’ve owned the lights?
SURVEY (Inches of Meters)
👍 for Inches
👎 for Meter
i have chrismas lights nd they dont come out with the tape ...,,,so i tried using a black tape to stick them on my wall ....,,,still dint work nd i went to get a different tape which is clear nd still dint work....but when i looked at this issue i realised when my wall was not suitable for tapes ....😔so i couldnt stick my led lights on anything or hang them ...Can you maybe please help me ...??😁😃😪...
I would suggest double sided wall tape next then!
What's the tape u applied ?!
the adhesive tape comes with the lights!
Kai would get a thwack for that scream
My name is Kai yay
But how did you do the corners of the room?
check the section with the corners connectors!
@@yasitsjle Oh thanks!
I bought theses for girls and I thought would simple. Watching your video sure does make it look hard… ahh 😢 I think I need some help.😂😂😅
Wow your accent. Its cute😊

I'm from MS so I do have a southern accent!
You didnt showed us it.
Lmfaooo She has that black woman tone… haha
i 2 have a nephew named Kai n i think he's bout the same age as your nephew, no joke😁
Inches is easy for me, meters is like some advance shi or the way it sounds
Great video. But Why do you sounds black ?
It’s southern lol
That math😵💫
The voice does not match the person
I get this a lot but I'm from the South so not many people meet Southern Asians!
that’s really interesting, honestly I really love your voice! so pretty :)
Maybe her voice doesn’t match because of what you were program to believe someone that “look” like her should “sound” like.
@@elliscofield9756 alright don’t be weird now
@@elliscofield9756 I kindly and strongly disagree.
Not left no link to connectors so I messed up and wasted my money. Nice video …. (Sarcasm) 🙄
I like meters better! Well.., it's because I'm from Denmark..! ;-)
hahahah broski cute
I like this girl,…
Is this your real accent/cadence?
Couldn’t make it through.
ong ur from the south i recognize one of my own lmfaoo
yasss gulf coast lets go
OK so what she has done is shown you how not to install strip lights on your walls.
1)- The type of strip light she has installed is the really old old 1980s strip light version RGB Style
2)- She did not use any sort of defuser on these strip-lights
3)- She struck these strip lights on a painted wall.
*The proper way Explained:*
1-) RGBIC LED Strip Light is something new that has a major advantage over regular RGB LED Strips lights: you can set multiple colors at the same time on the strips. This is possible because of its ICS (hence the name) and segmentation.
Please use youtube to see the difference RGBIC vs RGB
2a)- Add a defuser, have you ever looked at a light without a light shade on it, Yeah I know it really hurts your eyes after a while right? Same thing with any LED Style lights but worst because LED lights are way stronger and brighter and will really really hurt your eyes after a while. I am no Doctor but I am sure it will cause eye damage in the long run, don't take my warning, ask your Optometrists, you'll be happy you took my warning and the warning of your Optometrists.
2b)- The correct way is to click on this link and you will see the right way,, yeah I am saving a lot of my time so I am sending you to a website that will explain my point, No I am not employed at this website, and earn no commish -
www.waveformlighting.com/home-residential/aluminum-channels-for-led-strip-lights-are-they-worth-it-an-in-depth-look
3)- Sticking your strip lights on paint. . . oh no......that is not the worst.. . . .sticking your LEDs on wood....now that is just da worst.
The 3M tape granted is a good product, but in time, will fail, then you will re-stick your LEDS back on the wall again, and again, and again, then soon the tape is unusable...hence more work... So use a defuser, you'll love the look, and save your LEDS too, and will never have to reinstall your LEDS twice! So please. . . . I beg you PLEASE use Aluminum channels, or sometimes called aluminum extrusions.
Buy off Amazon or eBay. I am NOT endorsing any website.
I have listed is my PRO TIPS, hope they helped y'all
you have a lot of info here. But for the the love of GOD, PLEASE, PLEASE will somebody tell me HOW to open those damn plastic connectors?!?!?! I've tried my nails, knife, banging them, flat head screwdriver. WHY don't they just ship them already open and ready to use?
Everything was great except that nails on a chalkboard scream at the end
Please add warning ⚠️ for those who may be epileptic ❤
She’s “American” y’all 😂
Okay next time don’t turn them on in the roll because the lights could damage or catch on fire
Nope too high maintenance! I will stick with candles
IMHO the big mistake is to put these on the ceiling : rather you apply it to the wall where it meets the ceiling. The provided clips then act as a fixing support. Those LEDs are destined to fall off (as the ones I have just installed).
You honestly don’t know what your talking bout from the looks of it
Who broke your heart sweet pea!
my wall has like a dip😭😭
CM not Inches
Damn you're gorgeous🤩😍🥰💘
You so preet 🤪😛🤣❤️❤️
U funny.. 😆 but it was informative..
why tf did this turn into a math lesson
