When you say it wouldn't start, would the starter fire but the engine wouldn't crank? That's what is happening with my 2012.

It would crank, but would not start due bad timing. Sorry about the late reply.

Does the issue only happen when the vehicle is warm and at idle? I have same issue but does not occur when car is cold and not idling

Check the oil level, usually it happens regardless of the temp.

@@waqasazmat81 I frequently check my oil. My issue ended up being the vvt solenoids. They were aftermarket and I replaced it with OEM ones.
