      I knew it wouldn’t take long until someone noticed it. I had no idea until I started editing.

    Good stuff Chuck. Been teaching my little man on a baitcaster and he holds on too long. Casting at the cloud is the message I needed for him.

    Chuck is speaking from experience and massive efficiency. If you have to cast all day for 300 days a year, you learn to fish effectively like this. My only alternative comment is that braided line is easier for me to remove backlashes.

    6:19 Smiley Face would have been the perfect 'puffy cloud' to aim for.

    Found this video after and hour of cutting line out of a tangled mess on my spool. Only ever fished with the standard type of reel so ot only took one cast of not putting tension on with my thumb to screw it up

    I like you use 13fishing reels. I have found that they cast farther than other reels I’ve owned. The centrifugal brake system has allowed me, in a lot of instances, to cast without using more than a very slight feathering thumb pressure, and in some cases no thumb pressure at all. I get NO backlashes at all.

    This video has some great tips. It would really benefit from telling us what to do rather than not to do. You never actually say when you are supposed to put your thumb on the line. Is it when you cast? When the bait hits the water? The whole time? And how much pressure. Thanks.

    • @ChuckPippinBassFishing
      @ChuckPippinBassFishing  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NickCheeseman Thanks! 🙌🏼ultimately, you’re putting you’re stopping the spool with your thumb as it’s hitting the water. In windy conditions, you sometimes have to feather it out there without completely removing your thumb from the spool.

    Good video! Quick question. I am left handed and have been using a spinning reel. I cast with my left and reel with my right. Would that be the same for a baitcaster? Thanks!

    • @ChuckPippinBassFishing
      @ChuckPippinBassFishing  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably. I am also left handed, but cast with my right and reel with my left. Fishing rods/reels don’t always seem to correlate with whatever hand is your dominant. Basically, whatever feels comfortable to you is the best option.

    how to tie a hair rig for the carp corn fishing? and I have a question I don't have a bait caster but I want to buy one what's the best cheep choice? how do you know when to stop the line with your thumb?

    • @ChuckPippinBassFishing
      @ChuckPippinBassFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m not knowledgeable on carp corn fishing 🤷🏻‍♂️. You put your thumb on the spool just as the lure is hitting the water. Sometimes you might have to lightly press your thumb on the spool when casting across, or up, wind to keep it from overrunning. IMO, the best entry level baitcaster would be a 13 Fishing Origin for about $60
