    If you had a decent concrete floor under that garage you could add some anchors to the floor and bolt in chains to hold down the frame.

    Nice! A video on the tools you use could really help us newbies. Even to the size of sockets you use.

    19:05 I use a picture of the Megadeth - Peace Sells cover in combination with Adobe COLR in which turned into Adobe Color, in which is currently named Adobe Capture, in order to pick my colors for everything but the body of the car. As the body of the car will now be black, while human interactables will be signal red, and the below will have mostly light absorbent( think musou or vanta black ) for static parts, however all movable parts will be in shades of purple, yellow, and whatever else that album cover has.

    A good friend of mine caught a spring in the head at a job he used to work at with shitty spring compressors. You got this ‼️‼️‼️✊🏻

    Goddamn that looks so good. Keep it up man that this is going to be a killer ride.
    You need to expand your music list though. Ive been playing all your videos in the background while I work and those songs replay so much I’m afraid I’m going to snap and murder these co workers

    Looking really good, man. I'm amazed. Sure liked that ...".thinking outside the box" thing ....on that last rear spring. I'm watching the progress.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Make a video with the torque specs of every nut PLEASE.. I don't have my Humvee (just yet) but I WILL OWN ONE VERY SOON. For now buying my tools and looking at your videos GREAT HELP. I LEARNED SOOOOO MUCH FROM YOU BIG THANK YOU. And you can even say: how long in the oven, what temperature, what materials are you using, paint, tools, size of the sockets, name of the tool Name of the part you are working on, where you get your parts from, Just a separate video for us newbies, or for the guys planning to have one Humvee very soon. PLEASE DON'T GO SO FAST. Take your time. This is the best Mechanic University EVER. """""""I WILL HAVE MY HUMVEE"""""""

      That’s awesome! I wish I could, I google most torque specs. I probably have the longest build so far on TH-cam because it’s taking me so long… but I want to do it right.

    Man, look at those beautiful tie down points on the frame on either side of the spring. Wrap a strap under the hub with both side of the strap on the tie downs. You're making it too hard. Remember, "KISS" Keep It Simple, Stupid.

    18:01 I'm a bit confused to the angle of those brackets, why on earth do those go down? Should those either point in the direction you drive or the direction you came from? To collect less debris, i e

    She’s looking beautiful brotha. Even better than when she left the assembly line. Are you keeping this one factory height? Haven’t seen any spring spacers or body lifts yet.

    • @SplitBuilds
      @SplitBuilds  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m going to do spacers on the front and a 3 inch body lift I think.

    Nice job! Its going to be a very hard ride with these fat springs. Have you consider installing an adjustable coilover? Sure there are some kits in the market. Like the suspensión in the milspec hummers.
