Yaah this is the reason why youtube show me her channel in 2017 traveling content, sad i missed so much of her content.but i didn't understand why she blocked my Instagram Account @realthomaskaupp the reason is unknow.the joke is i can talk with dadchurch all the time.Anyway her sister Shelby doing a great content too,i watching both.
Enjoying your own company is so liberating!! I think more people should try it. Tbh there’s been times when I was out somewhere w/people and felt like I would’ve enjoyed it more alone. Loved this!
I absolutely LOOOOVED this!!! A loner like me would have a blast on a trip like this.. **starts planning her Central Coast road trip** Thanks for the inspo!!!
Yes girl, as a woman I am also creeped out when driving through middle of nowhere alone, you're brave. I hella do not want to do a road trip alone but this is a classic CA road trip
I’ve been following you since you’re break up long ago and to see how far you’ve come and grown really makes me happy! I’ve been going through a similar journey; trying to find myself for the past few years and I’m finally ready for a solo trip. I never felt like I was capable of living or traveling alone and now I’m doing both!! All within these past two years!! Thanks for your honesty and courage to create the life you want. You have surely inspired mine! ❤️
About to embark on a solo road trip myself. Really liked how you decided to slow things down, be present in the moment and take advantage of being in a new place rather than just rushing to get home! Great video Monica!
I can't even express how much I have been enjoying watching you "come into your own". I love how much you love real estate and how you are standing up for the future YOU want. Dang lady! Very inspirational!
We heat our home with wood in the winter. Yes we have a heat pump but there's nothing like the heat from the wood stove. That is NOT a real wood fire. You need some more experiences girl! PS I've done that with Alaska miles before. I got 1st class to LA for $49 from Everett, Wash. Felt good! It was $200 cheaper than regular fare.
YEAAhh, northern California beaches are socked in with clouds... go back in October... it might be better. Huge emphasis on might. Half Moon Bay has some great beaches as well
I honestly really enjoy spending time by myself and this looks really fun to do. The people in my life make stuff like this seem so daunting and lonely but now I’m even more inspired to do a mini solo trip
Hey, i have been a longtime viewer and when you said Aviv it took me back to the team aviv or team george days! Wow that was forever ago!! Love the videos always!
I'm going on a solo road trip from Texas to Illinois through Colorado in 2 weeks! I'm pretty nervous! I'll be vlogging it if anyone wants to follow along!
Omg I just had my first solo trip as a 26 year old that I haven't dreaded! It was absolutely amazing!! Loved the video! Looking forward to the house tour with the other agents. Keep up the amazing work!
I live ten min from Monterey. Next time stay in the city of Carmel by the Sea or Monterey. The aquarium is in cannery row area of Monterey, If you go downtown (right by the wharf) there’s pretty cool bars, restaurants, breweries, shops. Lots of old houses and buildings.
Gratitude for sharing & count me among those joyfully looking forward to this next chapter in the story! There is a lot unsaid about travel not only as a means of relaxation, but supplementally as an end to rejuvenate your creative reservoir. Hopefully this trip has topped off whatever is to manifest ahead.
Absolutely loved this video, loved the solo Monica and seemingly happy in what she’s doing. We all know that people can be different on and off camera but Monica...you genuinely seem to be enjoying yourself and it’s so nice to see...great video!
You stopped in my city! 😍 Sorry about the fog, it’s a hit or miss here and can definitely ruin the amazing views. I’m about a month away from getting my real estate license, so I love following along on your content! 💞
Just discovered your channel. Your delightful. Life is scary until you just take the step or drive in this case. A lovely drive & adventure, thank you for sharing.
Monica, I am 72 yrs old and love road tripped. Have done many. My most recent was last year when I drove fr om Upstate NY to Las Vegas. I was by myself and never once turned on my radio or played any cd's. Total silence. I learned so much, like who would have thought KS was beautiful, but it is! On another trip from LV to Chicago, I came across a town located on the main highway. There was a huge hotel once used as a hospital during WW2. and across the road were hot springs, also part of the rehab. The hotel and hot springs are now a big tourist attraction. Also in CO are San Andre fault. So much to see in this beautiful country. My favorite song is America the Beautiful, from the purple mountains majesty, to the prairies, to the ocean white with foam, to the vast golden wheat fields. Advice to fill up when gas tank is 1/2 full, carry extra water and an emergency kit with a mirror for SOS Morris Code emergencies using the sun (...---...) and a large flashlight for night time Morris Code.
Wendy, we're the same vintage. Sept I drove from KS to OR. In the next week I'm driving back to KS. Driven across the US. It's therapeutic. I love when we women, all ages are comfortable & brave. Enjoy your adventures.
I really enjoyed this video, Monica! I grew up in the Bay Area and this reminded me of driving out to Carmel on my own many times in my early twenties... I've lived abroad for 13 years now and this brought back a lot of nice memories of a place I miss a lot. Thank you!!
monica you are such a hard worker!! you have a day to yourself and instead of sitting down by the beach you spend it connecting with local realtors and filming a house tour!
Thanks for making this video, Monica! I really needed to hear what you had to say about enjoying your time alone and not being afraid of it. My boyfriend is away for this summer and I'm living alone for the first time ever and it been an adjustment being by myself and not with the person I'm used to doing everything with! I'm excited for him to come back but I think I'll try to go out of my comfort zone a little in the meantime. Thanks again!
Yay you uploaded it today! 🥳 Also, when I went to Pismo Beach in 2019 - we had the exact same sea view - just clouds! (also it smelt like fish - not really relevant but made for a memorable stop from LA to San Fran hehe)
I just woke up, and I thought you were Shelby haha!! and I thought "what!? You think driving to L.A. is a road trip?" then I realized you're not shelby! hahaha!!
im soooo happy to see this type of content on your main channel! also its nice to see your quality of filming/editing hasnt changed even though you must be so busy with your career now!
So nice to travel solo! Depending on location, of course. I've visited many areas in California as a solo traveler and pretty much all of them have been well worth it in my opinion. There's something about being on your own schedule, or lack of, and getting to take in the sights at your pace. Hopefully, a Seattle or Chicago trip will be in my near future!
This is so me Monica! I love doing solo roadtrips and l use hotel tonight alot. I appreciate the bonus home tour in Carmel. My mom and l used to go to Jazz festivals in Carmel and Laguna Niguel. Monterey is beautiful. Its one of my favorite fishing towns.
When I just graduated, I travelled to Eastern Europe, Slovenia specifically, to visit my brother who was living with his then girlfriend/now wife and I stayed with them for a bit and then travelled to Prague to visit another friend but in Prague I wanted to travel and stay on my own and it was literally the best experience of my life. I learned to really rely on myself and get through things that were challenging on my own. Travelling on your own is so liberating and such a great opportunity for growth.
My family took a route similar to this one weekend a month for 9 years. But since then we have done it a few times since. Last spring it was the last leg of a huge road trip to bring me home from college for the summer.
I loved this! I've been wanting to do a solo road trip for awhile now and this is inspiring me to do it this summer. I've done long drives alone but I always end up meeting with my friends from college since they all live far from me.
I love traveling/roadtripping by myself! My last pre-covid trip was fly to Boston (from Amsterdam) and roadtrip around New England for 3 weeks (in fall). And it was amazing! Ultimate freedom!
I've driven from seattle to LA and back a few times for school and my favorite way so far was to drive more east on 395. It was super pretty with cool mountains and lakes. If I ever do it again I definitely want to go along the coast though or take the train!
I love solo-trips! I have done many by plane, but my first solo-road trip was to Joshua Tree from the CA Central Valley back in November. It is such a thrill and so liberating!
I do a 7 hour trip like every 2 months to VA because my boyfriend lives there! I honestly love the drive alone with full control to listen to whatever podcasts and music I want lol. I’ve never done a hotel alone though! Deff need to do a real solo trip like this
I love Monterey. My son was stationed there for 18 months and my husband and I visited him 3 times. It's our favorite place now. Carmel is gorgeous, too.
Love the new main channel "high production value" vlog format and travel / Real Estate content 😁 I think this video inspired me to go on a self road trip in the next few months... MiniMonica on the map was hilarious! Keep up the great work!!
Love your work and thoughts Monica! I was so into your last episode of the MLC it almost brought me to tears. In every way, so proud of you and to be part of your community. This is exactly what I imagined when my Great Grandmother, the thespian and original Wicked Witch w/Garland brought us into a new era of craftsmanship and communication of ideas. Perfect! Always notified and looking forward to what tomorrow brings. 😊
More young people need to experience this type of thing. It’s great.
Her mommy and daddy helped her.....
THEY RAISE BOTH GIRLS RIGHT!!
Yes, solo traveling is definitely something everyone should try 😍
Yeah I have no clue how to start but then again I'm stuck doing college classes this summer :(
The map with the little Monica cutout cracked me up.
I'm surpriced she has recovered well, this is what i like i subscribe you again. @TheCronedoggy 😁 yeah she take a good photo
Me too!!
Me three!
Samesies.
Yeah same
Monica looks very happy and I'm so proud of her
This is the Monica content I've been missing lately!

Solo travel. So liberating.
Yes indeed!
Enjoying your own company is so liberating!! I think more people should try it. Tbh there’s been times when I was out somewhere w/people and felt like I would’ve enjoyed it more alone. Loved this!
Can I just say this is the happiest I've seen you in a while? Like, true joy.
The cat makes your Palm Springs house a home. 🐈🌴
The cat doing vacation in her backyard 🤣

Have fun on your road trip! Where are you going to go?
@@ThisBlondeLife Thanks! Driving to Ohio, down to Florida and then possibly California after :)
“This is a depiction of how coffee makes me feel” girl, SAME
I can't even express how much I have been enjoying watching you "come into your own". I love how much you love real estate and how you are standing up for the future YOU want. Dang lady! Very inspirational!
Hahaha I am loving the map with your picture.
Monica is here again, realy happy to see you upload new videos, keep going 💙
Honestly this sounds like something I need to plan, looking forward to your future solo travel videos!
Carmel is amazing! Classic California roadtrip spot
You NEED to do the 101 route next time!! It’s absolutely stunning!!
We heat our home with wood in the winter. Yes we have a heat pump but there's nothing like the heat from the wood stove. That is NOT a real wood fire. You need some more experiences girl! Monica looks so happy! This is a vibe!
YEAAhh, northern California beaches are socked in with clouds... go back in October... it might be better. Huge emphasis on might. Half Moon Bay has some great beaches as well
Monica when can we expect a kitchen/house update for the Palm Springs House, Please and Thank you.
Enjoyed the trip. Didn't even feel like I was watching a TH-cam video. Very well done. Thanks for taking us on the trip.
Funny, I was vacationing in Palm Desert and Springs while you made a road trip up to where I grew up! Good to see you came back a year later :)
I'm going on a solo road trip from Texas to Illinois through Colorado in 2 weeks! I'm pretty nervous! I'll be vlogging it if anyone wants to follow along!
Monica I love the solo trip videos you do! Just watching you get excited at all the little stuff makes me wanna start doing vlog content 😯
Omg I just had my first solo trip as a 26 year old that I haven't dreaded! It was absolutely amazing!! Loved the video! Looking forward to the house tour with the other agents. Keep up the amazing work!
Enjoying time alone is a great trait to have. And road tripping by yourself means no one is trying to change your music, nor judge your driving. Lol!
I agree so much that there's a time and place both for travel with friends and for solo travel!!
These type of trips are needed. 🙌🏽
I live ten min from Monterey. Next time stay in the city of Carmel by the Sea or Monterey.

I’m getting Big Little Lies vibes from this. I love it!

Glad to see you blogging again! Always entertaining.
Next time check out that aquarium, it's absolutely amazing!
You stopped in my city! 😍 Sorry about the fog, it’s a hit or miss here and can definitely ruin the amazing views. I’m about a month away from getting my real estate license, so I love following along on your content! 💞
Hating the smell and still smelling the hand is so relatable 😂😂
So true 😂
Just discovered your channel. Your delightful. Life is scary until you just take the step or drive in this case. A lovely drive & adventure, thank you for sharing.
Damn those kid proof pool gates!!! :) :) More seriously, loving the 'main channel'/vlog video, has elements of both and all good!

A little sad you didn't take the coastal route the entire way haha
Loving the videos lately. Fresh new vibe!
46 hwy is horrible. I used to drive from Monterey to LA once a month or so.
Monica, I love your videos! I always learn so much but I wish you had closed captioning to make your videos accessible.
You really know how to show yourself a good time.
Yes! More solo trips please! I find these types of videos so inspiring!!!
Glad to see a new video 😍
LOL at the way you pronounced Paso Robles
What a sweet adorable kitty!!! 😍 I hope it has a good home
Once the airstream is done, you can take it all over the Pacific Northwest!
Yay you uploaded it today! 🥳 Also, when I went to Pismo Beach in 2019 - we had the exact same sea view - just clouds! (also it smelt like fish - not really relevant but made for a memorable stop from LA to San Fran hehe)

I’ve been having lunch at a restaurant by myself . It is glorious! ( I have kids)
It feels so luxurious doesn’t it? I have kids too 😂

your happiness is contagious!!
This is my hometown...what a place to be! You rock!
Eyyyy welcome to NorCal! Love seeing people visit here. The fog is real at the coast up here 😁🌫
It just makes the road trip so much better when there's actually something to look at. Hard to top the experience of navigating Highway 1!
You lighting your first fire . hilarious I love your hand gestures when you're talking they're so expressive. I loved this video!❤

Wow... this video... wow. Your videos are the best monica. Good vibes from beginning to end!
The not being spontaneous enough to just drive and pick a spot is ME
I love solo trips and that looked so fulfilling!! Happy for you!
great filming and editing! very enjoyable to watch
you're glowing! i love this energy!
I swear toward the end I recognized an exterior shot from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home outside the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Nice job, Monica.
I need to do this! I don’t like driving to the coast alone without my husband, but this inspired me to try it once!
I do a 7 hour trip like every 2 months to VA because my boyfriend lives there! I honestly love the drive alone with full control to listen to whatever podcasts and music I want lol. I’ve never done a hotel alone though! Deff need to do a real solo trip like this
The room being 300 dollars a night 😬 I would’ve thought it would’ve been more modern.
Sometimes that hotel goes up to $1000/night!!
not surprised, it's Carmel...
I love Monterey. My son was stationed there for 18 months and my husband and I visited him 3 times. It's our favorite place now. Carmel is gorgeous, too.
This was one of the most fun videos I’ve watched in forever!!
Love the new main channel "high production value" vlog format and travel / Real Estate content 😁 I think this video inspired me to go on a self road trip in the next few months... MiniMonica on the map was hilarious! Keep up the great work!!
great video looking forward to more to videos
Next time, drive through Ventura and up the 101. You missed some fantastic California Dreamin' moments.
