I've been traveling totally alone for a number of years now... 3 times to Europe with 4th time coming during labor day this year and 1 time to New Zealand... Literally never traveled internationally with someone...

It is sometimes slightly better alone though, because of the freedom. Like when I was in Switzerland, and the weather was not good for Jungfrau, I quickly decided to just hop on the train and go to Bern for the day without having to worry about anything.
i just went to nyc a few months ago by myself as well and felt the same exact thing!! def some pros and cons but also a liberating feeling to be content with yourself in a situation thats out of your comfort zone
I also went to NYC as a solo trip earlier in the year and had an absolute blast. After that I wanted to travel more by myself and this fall I'm going to be going to London!
I went on a solo trip to Munich, Rothenburg, and Salzburg a few years ago. It was so scary and daunting but one of the greatest experiences ever. You can do whatever you want, no compromises, and it was so life changing to challenge yourself and come out of the trip knowing you can do absolutely anything. Congrats on doing this Monica! You’re a strong, smart woman and you can conquer anything ♥️

This is exactly what I want to do when I am out of school and making good money. I have done it before but it's been a while. I think it is so important for young women to travel solo.
It was your first solo trip and you did well!! I was in the city for a few days myself last year and felt awkward at times, but I planned a lot of museum and sightseeing and made it fun!

Wow I needed to see this! As a journalist I am always travelling alone. I find the scariest part is when you first get to the airport. I think as soon as you arrive at your destination it can be such a liberating experience. I can't recommend travelling alone enough. You really do learn to be a peace with yourself xx

I’m 25 and have been done a solo trip! Been lookin to plan one soon and I love the honesty in this video ! I think once we get over the initial awkwardness of it all , it’ll get better ! And I’m terrible with directions so that’s my biggest fear which is getting lost.
