And there were still all of the dishes to do, plus broiling in an oven heats up your house. If it takes just as long, results in the same amount of clean up, and you've still gotta use your oven, I agree, just use the damn oven.

I have severe heartburn so my doctor has warned me that if I don’t change my diet I’ll soon get an ulcer or worse and for the past month I’m on a no junk food diet so nothing that has cheese, nothing from restaurants or fast food chains, no carbonated drinks and lower the amount of sweet things I have only homemade soups, meat and rice nothing with a high sodium content. This lasagne is literally making me cry. It looks so good. 😭 😭😭

Janani Ananthanarayanan it’s a way to keep oven free for garlic bread or other dishes. Then just quick minute in the broiler to finish off.
