Best review of the gimbal out there. I watched several others and they really didn't show all the features and capabilities that you were able to. You also demonstrate so well how a gimbal can be utilized that I now understand why I need one.
I've literally just bought one of these and been searching on how to use it properly. Thus video has shown me that and more! You've literally demonstrated how to use this gimbal and also the camera too!
Thanks for your thoughts on this one Brandon. I'm still using a Moza Air 1 gimbal, which if I recall correctly, you were a big fan of for a while. And it was primarily because of its size and weight. This finally seems like a powerful gimbal that is also very compact and doesn't seem to compromise on feature set like some of the other compact gimbals from competitors.

Vertical compatible... wow! Game changer. I just bought a cage last month to be able to do that with my old Ronin... Now for double the price I could have had a whole new gimbal! Still going to get this new mini
Thanks for the lens change tip. When testing it out, I discovered that the 45° tilt feature at 5:31 also includes a 45° tilt DOWN which makes it much easier to navigate the menu for any major camera settings changes.

You're the first reviewer I've seen that doesn't take off the horizontal plate when mounting vertically. Does it cause any problems keeping it on there while you use it? If not, that's a huge win for anyone that needs to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical shooting. Thanks for the awesome review and all your work!
its all physics. Also, having that horizontal arm is great for adding bottom counterweights when needed
SAME! Never seen someone do it that way! Way easier to swap back and forth!

Only BL can make a gimbal look so much like a Steadicam. Beautiful! Discipline, creds, kudos and pronams. So grateful for showing us that small cameras can make smooth video. Hard to understand how few Tubers care about this - bouncy-bouncy. Ugh-ly. The tracking shot along the wall was amazing. Must learn to ninja walk while twisting sideways...

Cool gimbal. Size is perfect for travelling. I wish it was shot and exported at 30 fps though so we can see how clean the motion looks. 24 fps movement + TH-cam just seems like a jittery mess.

@04:58 The pulling up while tilting up shot seems to work nicely. On the Zhiyun Crane M-2 I've found it often pans slightly at the end of the tilt-up spoiling the shot. Haven't found a way round that yet.
Thanks for making these how to / test videos. They are extremely helpful in learning new gear. Id love to know your audio setup for talking on camera and with a guest. Do you run them into the camera on gimbal or a separate mixer & audio person? Thanks

to be compact it does its job well but it's not quite perfect.
regarding the weight it is not 795 grams but 843 grams excluding the supplied tripod.
