    Beneficial video Mufti Saheb, Jazakumullah Khayra.
    A question on the point about gift cards, i've been stuck on zakat on gift cards/vouchers mas'alah for a while. Do you mind explaining how you made Takyeef of Zakat on gift cards?

    This was so helpful, jazakallah khair. You mentioned in the end of the video that you will make a FAQ video on zakat, can you please tell me where I can find that video?

    Assalam o Alaikum Ustadh!
    Quick Question :
    If you don't own a house (and currently living in somebody else's house that you may or may not be paying the rent for), now you have invested in property but you are buying and selling it cause you want to make enough money to build a house for you and your children at a place you want to and the only way you can do that is through investing in real estate but intention is only to build your sort of a dream house (just one) where you and your children can live peacefully. Will Zakat be still applicable on such investments? Also, part of the question is that what happens if you sell it a piece of land before the entire year has gone pass through to sell it? Jazak ALLAH for producing such amazing videos... May ALLAH bless you!!

      Yes you will have to give zakat on the market value of the property you bought for selling purpose even if you didnt possess it for the entire year

    Alihamdulillah, thank you a lot. May Allah rewards you greatly. I have a question. if i pay my zakat at the due date like 2020 ramadan than i still have money above my nisab and i continue getting money until next ramadan., do i have to calculate all that for the next due zakat payment?

    Bro JazakAllah khair, very helpful especially the info graphic..
    1 minor point, you're saying illegible (can't read) which is different to what you mean which is eligible (liable for)
    Also for liabilities you used an annual figure for mortgage but monthly figure for rent, why is that?

    • @RootsOfKnowledge
      @RootsOfKnowledge  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      thank you for pointing out the correction
      Yes so the liability is based on what is considered outstanding. thus the mortgage is all outstanding technically however, due the payments going beyond 12 months we can only consider until the next Zakat due date. Rent on the other hand is only outstanding per month.

    Is it necessary to mention to whom giving zakat that the money is from zakat fund , or we can hide that it is zakat money
