Stop spreading false information. That may be one of the wisdoms of fasting in Ramadan but the actual purpose is to attain taqwa as it is explicitly mentioned in the Quran,

This paints TH-cam and some of the people on TH-cam in a very good light and reminds us that not everyone on the platform is a Logan Paul or an Alfie Dayes, just looking for clout with no substance to their videos. I’m a Muslim and honestly the fasting gets easier as you progress it’s just the first few days and the reason why you feel weak and even get headaches when you fast is because you’re body is releasing all the stored toxins and your immune system cells are regenerating but once you keep up your fast you feel better! So even if you’re not Muslim, fasting even outside of Ramadan from time to time has incredible effects on the body and I highly encourage you all to look at the scientific and medical research regarding fasting and its amazing benefits on the human body. This video was beautiful to see! There’s something precious about people experiencing each other’s culture and beliefs with honesty and respect.

Hi friend, I used to be a Christian once upon a time. If you'll give me 2 minutes I can prove that Jesus (peace be upon him) was in fact a prophet of God
God is immortal, uncreated, all powerful and all knowing and Jesus (peace be upon him) was none of those things
Jesus (peace be upon him) was created by God and was born to Mary (peace be upon her) after God willed it therefore he was born and created (you can't have an uncreated created being)
Jesus (peace be upon him) could be harmed and even killed and Jesus (peace be upon him) begged God to not let him die... someone unhurtable and unkillable doesn't ask to be saved
An all powerful being doesn't need nor can be strengthened
‘An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him - in the garden of Gethsemane’ (Luke 22:43)
‘Then the devil left him; and behold, angels came and began to minister to Him’ (Mark. 1:13)
Jesus was not all knowing as God is
But God is All Wise & does not need to learn: Jesus grew in wisdom, but God is all wise ‘Great is our Lord and abundant in strength; His understanding is infinite.’ (Psalms 147:5)
‘And Jesus increased in wisdom.’ (Luke 2:52)
And of course Jesus (peace be upon him) never claimed divinity and is outright shown to be a servant of God
The disciples prayed to God just as they were commanded by Jesus in Luke 11:2, and considered Jesus to be God’s servant.
‘they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.’ (Acts 4:24)
‘your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.’ (Acts 4:27)
‘of Your holy servant Jesus.’ (Acts 4:30)
The Bible says that Jesus was God’s servant
‘Behold, My servant, whom I have chosen, in whom My soul is well pleased.’ (Matt 12:18)
And the holy Quran just further proves it
‘I am indeed a servant of God.’ (Quran 19:30)
Since Jesus is God’s servant, Jesus can not be God but a prophet of God

I used to be an Islamophobe in the past, but in college, Allah made me come across a guy who would completely change my views on Islam and show me how beautiful Islam actually is and nice the Muslims are. I converted to Islam a year ago and it was the best decision of my life. Today I am happily married to that guy and we are really enjoying our married life. His family have recently shifted here from Bangladesh too. I can't wait to spend my first Ramadan ever with him and his family. I will always be thankful to Allah for showing me the correct path. Alhamdulillah. Lots of love to my Muslim brothers and sisters ❤️🇺🇲🇧🇩❤️

If you're fasting or doing intermittent fasting, the regular food tastes so good, when you finally get to eat but remember to not eat too much.
We are all generally eating too much, which is not the healthiest thing to do to our bodies. Don't believe me, watch the movie "The Martian" featuring Matt Damon and you'll see that even a little bit of food can give you the energy required to go through your normal day (of course that is only a movie)

I never normally comment on videos but this one has touched my heart. When you spoke about how your feeling of pain turned into the feeling of gratitude, it struck something in me. You're absolutely right that we are lucky to feel annoyed about something that we don't have any right to feel annoyed about, because we are so privileged and fortunate to be in a position where we have a roof over our heads, food on our plates and clean water. I applaud you for trying this, I was born in a Muslim family and this video has made me even more appreciative of the reason why we fast. It has truly opened my eyes to another perspective, of how privileged we are to feel emotions associated with a lack of food and water for 18 hours, when less fortunate people don't have the blessings we take for granted. Thank you for this eye-opening content!

@@nervesconcord Islam does not teach to do those things to people. It teaches not to engage in certain acts, but it does NOT teach us to judge and hurt others or those who do, especially in such extreme ways. The people who are doing these tortorous things are doing it of their own accord, due to their own fear and hatred, and labelling it as done for religion and Islam and God. Our role model is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and he would never have done those things. Most of us know that the only judge is God and that we are not therefore we should not punish anyone or torture anyone for doing what they please.

@@nervesconcord I think the dumbest thing a person can do is to critisize a religion by its members. Islam's guide is Kuran and if you want to judge the religion judge it by what is written in that book. And believe me "throw gay men from roofs" is not written in it lol. People in middle-east can be really ignorant. Since I have seen people like that I know for a fact that they are not real muslims because they do not read Kuran and they see religion as tradition, they learn Islam from their elderly(who twisted Islam's ideologies at first place) thats why they do such ignorant acts and thus media portrays Islam as the religion of curelty which is totally not the case.

Big respect. It gets easier throughout the month, but everyone has their ups and downs. We always find ways to distract ourselves through work, reading the quran, studing the religion and praying. Rather than feeling angry that we have to do it, we feel grateful that we have the choice. Like you said some people dont know if at sunset theyll have a meal waiting for them. I think its a great experience for both muslims and non-muslims.

Me and a bunch of Astronomers met up with our man Qomar (spelled wrong) and a ton of Muslims from Bradford at our secret observatory and set up telescopes to track the moon. All going well but the tiny slither of a New Moon is hard to see in daylight, even harder when there are clouds. It got to about 9pm, a dark blue sky, a collection of small clouds shifted and Boom there it was a lovely slither of a new Moon. Qomar was straight on the phone to some official Muslim dude in London and we were the first to sight it. London dude got on to Saudi Arabia and that was end of Ramadan 2010.

When you're a child in a Muslim family, fasting is like a cool adult thing that you can't wait to do. The first day I tried to fast, I was four or five years old, my parents bought me a fruit milk, chocolate custard and a chocolate bread to congratulate me. I couldn't wait and gave up mid-day but I was still proud and decided to do more next time. As you grow, you get used to it, and it ends up being something we wait for all year. As I'm typing, I already miss ramadan even though it wasn't so long ago...
Something I'd love to add, Ramadan is also about character. You can't swear in ramadan, you can't fight people. So I find that Ramadan truly makes people kinder and sweeter with each other ❤️

Also, the attention to detail with respect to when you should stop eating suhoor and trying to maintain some kind of meditation in the morning was awesome!! I was impressed with your authenticity and commitment throughout your fasting week and honestly you fast better than me and I'm a muslim. Im glad this was a life changing experience for you and helped you put things in perspective to realize how lucky some of us are to even complain about the food we have been blessed with to eat. for Muslims, we're told that The Lord says, those who fast will find 2 joys.
      1. in this world, the joy of breaking their fast
      2. in afterlife, the joy of meeting their Lord.
as much as possible, I try to do the voluntary fasting on Mondays n Thursdays.
and true enough, while fasting I'm tempted to abandon it halfway (unlike Ramadhan fasting, while volunteer fasting U may abandon your fast at any time. there's no penalty. jst that U will not be rewarded. hence the name volunteer. or sunnah). but I keep reminding the reward of breaking our fast at the end of the day.
how a glass of cold water tastes like against your dry throat.
how rewarding it'd be to enjoy your meal. whatever it may be.
tht my friend, is truly a reward
