MashAllah Excellent explanation, Shaykh you have very neat handwriting. Definitely a part 2 on how the 4 Imams differ in their Usul - Methods for deriving the Fiqh.
Beautifully explained MashAllah. Q1. Can you just make your own method by choosing the opinion the majority of the 4 schools had? E.g. if all allow combining of prayers but only Hanafi don't then one follows the majority? Q2. Can one pick and choose what to follow as long as it comes from one of the school of thoughts? Q3. What defines the madhab. E.g. imam Abu Hanifa and his later students will differ in rulings. Is the Hanafi madhab in Asia different to the one in Iraq? As they may follow different students of imam Abu Hanifa.
2: You can pick that which sounds the most reasonable to you if you are a little experienced in studying Islam, but you can not pick that which is the easiest for you to follow. 3: The Madhahib had different approaches to understand islamic sources, thats why theyre split into 4 groups, meaning 4 methods of getting to a judgement.
another remark: When Muad was went to Yemen there was no Quran and no Sunna yet!! The Quran was put on paper only by the Third Caliph Uthman and the Sunna was developed at least 200 hundreds years after the death of the prophet Muhammad.
@Mas-ud Al-hassan I made a very simple and easy to verify historical statements about the Quran. If you spend few minutes to verify that, you will see that it is 100% true. I don’t understand your tirade about secular and religious people. I didn’t even touch the subject at all.
Isn't it better to say we use hadiths to understand the verses of noble Quran as opposed to you saying editing the noble Quran? Because you are putting videos on youtube you have to be careful with your choice of words as you can have a wide range of audiences who made get the wrong idea
it was a choice between زيادة على الكتاب which translates as adding to the Quran or editing . As for explanation, thats a different concept in Usool Fiqh which brings a new set of issues. The aim of making the video was to try to show people who arent familiar with Usool Fiqh of how specific principles and concepts shape the way fiqh is deduced Jzk for you feedback
@@RootsOfKnowledge Isn't it better to say like how I've written below so then people can't misinterprete you "The noble Quran isn't edited as the arabic recitation is the same however some scholars suggested adding extra words like we have extra words added in brackets in English translation of the noble Quran which help the reader in understanding And the arabic words put in by scholars are not recited for exmaple when doing ruqyah and reciting in salaah"
This religion is really just a set of orders/commands, how to wash hands, how to enter the bathroom, etc. And so many people discussing and wasting time and energy about absolute ridiculous things. A religion cannot be this. A religion must make the human being feel better, be better, love others and not hating cause they have a different creed and use critical thinking. We are all human beings with same needs and desires. I think that Islam must evolve like other religions evolved or is condemned to get stuck in the VII century CE.
