      @@IELTSDaily oh! I don't remember exactly, but for reading i remember a passage about multitasking, and for writing it was a map; and for t2 it was about publishing crime on the media (agree/disagree question). Speaking was totally general starting with the wildlife, followed by "how i managed quarrel between two of my friends" and follow-up questions regarding law enforcement (lawers and judges; and how they deal with such situations legally). That was it.

    Qn. Some people believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary school rather then secondary school.
    Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantage?
    Most of the specialists believe that learning a foreign language is good at primary level of schooling instead in secondary. Wholeheartedly, I agree with the idea. Since, learning multilingual languages at early age of study is better than at secondary level.
    Basically , learning a foreign language at early age enhances the kids creativity and understanding in different realms whereas at primary level , the foreign language is must. At the same time , different institutes and organizations teach English language at primary school. Undoubtedly , it helps kids for their further education in foreign country whilst one could achieve different opportunities in future. To cite an illustration, the English language is must and it is known as our second language. It is also in practice by different countries of the world whereas English language is mostly known language and used for communication which creates different doors of achievement for future aspirants.
    On the other hand, kids at early age aren't well known about foreign language whilst at primary phase they are incompetent and even they don't know their own native language. That's why, learning new Language at secondary level is efficient and practical where one's could gain and research about the foreign language. For instance, learning languages like Chinese,Spanish,and others are learned after their secondary level.
    To sum up, studying a foreign language at primary level out weighed the secondary level. All in all, there are some pros learning it at secondary school but learning in primary level is efficient. Besides, it builds base at early age and helps in secondary level even one would be more familiar with the language.
    Please give the overall band score and feedback✨

    Hello, this is my first time to do the writing task. Please excuse my errors as I want to know where I stand and monitor my progress as I learn how to effectively write. I want a comparison of my work (before, during and after). Thank you Chris and to all the teachers in IELTS Daily. I learned a lot, just by watching the speaking mock test. I have improved my vocabulary. I joined the app as well (while in beta mode) and got my first feedback in speaking. I did the writing essay in 40 min time and have not watched the feedback yet.
    Math has always been a part of our daily lives. It has been introduced to us, for as long as we could remember. We were taught how to count numbers, how to add and subtract, how to multiply and divide and eventually, it became more complex and complicated. We were taught about the main branches of Mathematics and their differences. Do we really need to learn all of those things? Is it still relevant or useful to our daily lives? It is my view that despite the importance of learning Math, we should only know the basic.
    Math is undoubtedly an important subject. It taught us about problem solving. It develops our critical thinking. Those skills are extremely important in our daily lives.
    However, it is in my view that we should only teach what is basic to everyone. People who are only interested in Math should pursue the studies of the subject. I believe that time is very valuable and we should only spend it to things that we love to do, or what we want to be in the future. There is more important knowledge that would matter to help us find a job or have a better life.
    In my opinion, it will only be a waste of time to invest too much of studying about Math. It would benefit all of us to know the basic. However, the advanced topics of Math should not be imposed to everyone. It is not something that we could not live without and we are not less of a person if we do not study Math.

    Hello sir,could you please evaluate my very first essay? Thankyou in advance. please help me to improve.
    Topic - "prevention is better than cure". Out of a country's health budget a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and preventive measures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.
    Answer:
    It is argued that priority from the health budget should be given to health education and precautions over the treatments. In my opinion, I disagree with the above statement. However, I believe that taking necessary precautions and awareness programmes play a significant role in a country's health.
    First of all, in my view, health is an essential need of any country. Further, treatments should be readily available for the general public at any time. Even if a country had taken actions to aware people of different diseases and preventive measures, anyone would get sick at any time because of human nature. If a country fails to provide relevant treatments for the diseases, it will cause people to die. Hence, a large proportion of the health budget should be allocated for 00treatments over health education.
    Secondly, it is not necessary to spend money on awareness and precautions. Because the government can incorporate them into the school curriculum. Benefits would get by children. Moreover, they can organize discussions and informative programs on TV and Radio to aware people. Generally, it will reach a vast audience. Thus, money is not necessary to make people aware and to take necessary precautions.
    To conclude, we can say, diverting a large proportion from the health budget to prevent does not create healthy people in a society at all. Any country should give priority to the treatments while helping other sectors, to make people aware of the preventive measures and education on health as well.

    Sir you are doing a great job👌👌👌.I have a doubt - can we start a sentence in IELTS writing(essay) using "there is" or "there are" or "it is"..It would be really helpful if you could reply me.

      As long as it's grammatically correct and it makes sense (and relates to the question), why not?!

    I have a problem sir and i could really use your help.
    I’m a native english speaker with really good use of english, i rarely make any grammatical mistakes, and reading some of these writings and watching some of your videos correcting these writings and giving them a band 6 and personally I thought that the writings were really poor with so many mistakes no clear task response and either there’s absolutely no way I got a band a 6 and I deserve way more and I should get it remarked or you are being very generous with the corrections of your students. Is there any way where I can see my writing and show you how i did so that you can mark it and give me advice on it?

    • @IELTSDaily
      @IELTSDaily  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello, it's actually much more common than you think for native candidates to score much worse than they were expecting. Please see this article here: blog.e2language.com/impossible-ielts-writing-test/
      We know many native speakers who didn't get their desired score.
      We have a service called 'Superstar' member which is pretty cheap and you get detailed feedback on your score and where you are doing well / going wrong.

    • @TheIncredibleLeo
      @TheIncredibleLeo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your reply, that article that you attached seems to be exactly the same as my issue, in your personal experience, do you believe that some examiners don’t properly mark the exams or don’t put much effort into it and therefore give out incorrect report cards? Also could you please attach a video responding to task 1 of the writing so that I don’t make any mistakes there.
      Thank you so much sir

    • @IELTSDaily
      @IELTSDaily  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are many factors why people don't get the mark...
      1. Strict examiners
      2. Poorly prepared candidates
      3. Difficult questions
      I don't think you deserve 6.0 but I can understand why a strict examiner may have awarded you 6.0 (although I definitely don't agree with it).
      It's quite easy for a native speaker to score
      TR: 4.0
      CC: 5.0
      LR: 8.0
      GRA: 7.0
      = 6.0
      We've made videos on this.

  • @honghaibui1303

    I don't agree with you, Coherence should be at a band 5 because the person wrote quite a lot of confusing phrases and even sentences. Grammar should be at a band 6. Remember that more than 50% of error-free sentences are enough for band 7, which means that you can make grammar mistakes in 6 out of 13 sentences and still get a 7 for grammar. The person didn't make enough grammatical mistakes to bring him down to a band 5.
