thank u for showing and clearing us why does he get 8.5 band score I hope i can give more concentration on next videos so that i know exactly what you want to points out but i feel sleepy and boredom when i watch like test and score videos cus i am not good at participating in exam and i have social anixety so i need to involve more face to face speaking with high band score speaker yes that is all for right now !
I am writing this to remind me of an important thing. You need to think of a lot of things by yourself if you want to speak fluently. You cannot verbalize your thoughts without thinking by yourself. I think you should continue to think at the same time of learning how to talk in English.
I gave my 3rd test today had a terrible experience in India. To begin the speaker asked me short questions about do u prefer collecting shoes and then about headphones. First of all, i gave my answers in 2-3 lines but she made hand gesture telling to speak more. Like I have covered my points, used connectors what more should I speak. However I tried to speak more and then she cut me many times and asked next question. This broke my confidence a little. She first asked why you like to wear headphones. After 1 question she again asked why you like headphones. Like I just literally answered it a question before. And then she is doing gestures and cutting me midway. It was very unprofessional. The first 2 times I had a better experience. I gave 1 of the test in USA where the speaker allowed me to pace my answers however I liked and never forced me to speak more.
Like if I had said that “I wear headphones all the time while I am using my cellphone or ipad. I use a sony wh1000 since last 3 years. It gives a sense of privacy as well it has noise canceling feature”. After this if I am gestured to speak more, its so like unprofessional. And then during one answers where I had more points she cut me midway and started with next question. This broke my confidence going to the main question and could not do my best and in the last part, I totally lost my thoughts and blabbered 1 of the question. I hope ielts bring better speaker for test in India.
And another thing, in the email, its written bring only passport to speaking test and registration form. But when I reached there they asked me to bring color photocopy of passport to, so I had to run back and find a stationary and get a color copy of passport. Like why is it needed and why in USA nobody asked me a color copy and why in India it is necessary and why is not written in email via IDP. Overall test is not the same shown in this videos.
First seeing Burmese candidate in TH-cam channel. I'm so proud of him. Thanks for uploading it . I'm also one of Burmese students who studying English language to be fluent and perfect just like him although the leaders under the dictatorship are not supportive.
Now, I am trying to get a good band in IELTS and I'm from Myanmar! I'm really proud of Jed and I wish he will get full of success! And also please pray for Myanmar! We are really some international helps!
Somewhere its really sad part also that his country is under the control of army of Myanmar and they are killing the people children and every innocent ones. Hope soon the UN will take some action on this thing. RIP to those who killed by the armies.
17:53 quick question, why didn’t he mark the usage of relative clauses as a grammatical mistake? An education agency is an institution, not a person therefore shouldn’t he have used “which” instead of “who”?
I'm proud of Jed! I'm proud to be Burmese. His English is proficient and this talent is something to be proud of. I hope when everything has been solved, Myanmar could use talents and confident people like him. A key for a country to develop is education. If everyone is educated, no one will be gullible and blindly be subservient to the military.
I'm still on my way to take the IELTS exam.I just figured out the new words and phrases from Jed . I wish I could speak fluently like Jed.I'm so proud of you,Jed.I'm from Myanmar.
Thank you so much for your videos. Although I didn't have a speaking partner and didn't get to practice much (only about 3 times before the test), I watched your videos almost everyday whenever I didn't feel like studying. I got 8 in speaking which was amazing for me!! with overall 8.5!!
i have a mock test tmrw so im checking some examples on youtube and found this video. as a fellow myanmar citizen, i am so amazed by his skills and fluency since most ppl from myanmar are good at writing and reading but scared to speak english. well done jed :D i'm very envious

It can be difficult but just try to remember it's not the end of the world if things don't go well first time. Try to be relaxed on the test day.
There are a lot of Myanmar who are very good at English but sadly political instability stops the country's development
Oh dear. What a shame
For real
absolutely...
The Myanmar military government is the most disgusting people in the world.
Yes, the military stop everything.
We lose our ppl lives, our education opportunities and many other things
