Hey Chris, I just wanted to thank you for your speaking videos. I watched all of them 2 days before my IELTS exam and got a perfect 9.0 score just today. Thank you!
Ishani Saxena Congratulations! If you don’t mind, can you please share some tips and tricks that helped you ace the speaking test? Do you think it’s better to speak naturally or incorporate formal connectors such as moreover, furthermore, etc. in your speech? Thank you in advance and once again, congratulations!
@@lenteraterang4148 Thank you so much! The most important tip that I would give you is to stay calm and collected throughout the speaking exam. What helped me stay grounded was imagining my best friend in the place of the examiner. Make eye contact and speak confidently. I would say that your speech has to be natural, but it should also incorporate grammatical complexity. That shouldn't feel forced and it comes only with practice. Another tip (which Chris gave me and it proved to be really helpful) is to always give elaborate answers. Give examples from your life to backup your answers. This allows you to emote. Lastly, watch all the IELTS DAILY videos (not a paid promotion lol). They are so helpful and to the point. All the best for your test!
Being a burmese, I must say only a few can speak fluently in English. This brother and other students in this channel has always fascinated and inspired me to speak fluent rather than native English speakers as English is not their mother tongue. I bet he will use his skills on good deeds.

I have to say that this channel is so so great. The content is good. What I like the most is that the students don't know about the questions so they answer really naturally, which is not fake like some another videos. In addition, I love the mindset of teacher Chris, he always explains thoroughly the examiner's answer. He focus on every aspects, not only phrasal verbs or academic vocabulary like some teachers I've seen. Great job, thank you so muchh. I will try to watch your videos everyday, and of course, why not liking such a stunning content like this?
I really appreciate what you guys are doing here, even though I am not preparing for an IELTS exam. I think you give amazing feedback and we can all learn a lot from Ielts Daily :) cheers!

Thanks for the kind words Dimitar. Very nice of you.
Hello IELTS daily, your videos are very interesting.
Please I have a quick question, because my IELTS speaking test is holding in the next 24 hours.
Can I use the phrase "you know", during my speaking test?
Yes
Jed seems like he is pro in english his english skills amd the way he is answering all the questions without taking time to think and so fluently its amaizing. His iq is so good he answered all the question very intelligently and explain his thoughts crystal clearly just by using couple of words and sentences. If someone will ask me this i will not be able to express what i am thinking and what actually i want to say instead of that i suppose to start beating around the bush just like i do all the time and i am doing right now anyway jed you deserve this and despite of the fact that you will not gonna read that i want to appreciate you
Thanks Ravla...really appreciate that.
Proud to be a burmese here!! Jed really impressed me by speaking English very fluently as a burmese:O We can see his hardworks. One more motivation for my future goal! Thank you so much to Chris and Jed for giving a precious tips and task to reach my goal
Great! Happy to help best wishes
