Don’t keep turning your PS3 off with the switch in the back you can damage the your circuit board and very possibly lose data most likely corrupting it. Just a friendly tip

(iv trained myself to do it just by remembering the controls.so i dont hav to plug in the av cables and switch back and forth.) knowing this saves me soooo much trouble. thank you again

I remember taking my ps3 to my brother's house and using it on his high def tv and then getting home and not being able to make it work with my crap tv until i took it back to his house and changed the settings there. I've tried doing everything in your video nothing has worked my worst fear may be what is wrong and that is the HDMI slot on the back of the ps3 has failed and no matter what HDMI Cable I use nothing works tried switching TVs didnt work see I was playing God of war Ascension on ps3 and was enjoying the game all of a sudden screen goes black and its orignal ps3 like yours I've even tried holding power button to reset The HDMI Settings with the other cord which looks like it's from a ps2 but slots in just the same I have tried everything and the ps3 is to Expensive to repair so annoyed :/

Try using component cable instead of hdmi cable
