  • Sean O'Malley's first UFC fight came in December of 2017, as an undefeated prospect, after getting a viral KO on Season 1 of Dana White's Contender Series. By 2023, O'Malley's ascension came to fruition as he became the undisputed Bantamweight champion with a knockout victory over Aljamain Sterling.

That Yan fight was an obv. 30-28 or 30-27 for Yan. It wasn't close at all, it was pretty clear that Yan won but keep changing the narrative. Just admit that the UFC needed a new 'star' and sacrificed Yan for their agenda.
