I got healthy by only eating fatty red meat, salt, water, eggs and bacon.
I got rid of my metabolic chronic ailments and made my inflammatory markers optimal by only eating a carnivore diet.
I got rid of my coronary plaque. I got rid of T2D and feel great. My heart is now PERFECT.
Carnivore is proper human behavior.
Humans are super-predators among the animal kingdom. A pack of humans equipped with spears, along with wolves by their sides, is a match no animal on earth wants to deal with, no even the largest, mightiest, or strongest. Our brains combined with wolf brains were no match for anyone, hence our life with dogs. lol People do not respect dogs enough, IMO, or our brains.
Absolutely. i can't get Ancel Keys the "scientist" out of my brain. He is proof that science can be wrong on so many subjects. A shill for the sugar industry. Anything more evil than that Stooge?
Sure you did .
I killed my T2D, bloody acid reflux, diahreah, constipation. What you are eating is my diet also, plus Muenster cheese, Swiss cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese. Uh, I should mention I put a fat pat of butter, plus a dollop of heavy whipping cream in every mug of coffee, 6 to8 mugs daily.

Every measure of health has increased, my skin is better, my energy levels are better, my mood is better.
When I’m 90 years old I’ll let you know definitively how I feel about cholesterol 😉
My skin is really nice now too. All my markers are great.

Do you go around telling random strangers what you eat ?
I thought carnivore cured everything including brain health ?
Frank Tufano , Dr Fart Gay and Svridge didn't seem to get that memo .😢
I saw my doctor yesterday to get a requisition for blood tests since going carnivore. She agreed I should get it and the only thing she made any reference to was what my cholesterol level would be. I can't wait to get the tests back and have that conversation. She's been textbook so far.
Please link the study google makes it very hard to find studies online that are not pro plant based or go against the mainstream group think 😟
He literally put the title with authors on the screen. That's all you need to find it.
Just skip Google and search directly on pubmed, it’s there.
Do they? Naughty!
I agree. Links always help. Most viewers don't have the time to look up every study we hear referenced. I barely have the time to watch half of these videos. I'm not lazy, I just work and have home obligations. Leaving very little time to do research or look up studies. Much love to Dr. Baker for finding these studies for us though!!!

T-Bone tonight with salt and water. Yum!🤤, I have lupus but it doesn’t have me! This way of eating is great for me, has lowered my inflammatory markers, ana, glucose and I feel better than the SAD way.
"they" will all finally catch up ....
Lower cholesterol is associated with decreased lifespan because people with life-threatening diseases often have lower cholesterol. This is true for BMI, blood pressure, etc.
They are associated, but is there just an association, or is one causing the other, and if so which is the cause and which the effect?
@@chrisminifie219 People with debilitating diseases are often malnourished, have decreased physical activity, and have greater inflammation. inflammation often alters lipid metabolism in these patients, which can decrease cholesterol. You'll also find that the graphs representing cholesterol and mortality, BMI, blood pressure, and others often match creating the same U shape indicating that this is a widespread phenomenon.
@@Theos1950 so there is a range in the middle of the U curve for BMI, cholesterol, and blood pressure that is associated with good health, lack of disease, and good nutrition? I still think that teasing out cause and effect is not always clear cut. For example, sick people may not eat well as a result of disease, or people who are not eating well can get sick as a result of malnutrition. On the other hand I suppose sometimes it is obvious
@@chrisminifie219 yes, this is indeed the case. This is why randomized control trials and the like are important for gathering large amounts of evidence to support a hypothesis.
My asthma symptoms completely disappeared a few days into carnivore. No medication for several years now. I'd strongly recommend giving it a try.
@@anthonymason385 I eat only raw steak over $25/100g. I was exposed to Ebola and it didn’t infect me. Girls find me irresistible. I used to be wheelchair bound, but 3 days into carnivore I stood up and after a week I could walk again
Thank you so much for all you do. I've been dealing with pulmonary sarcoidosis for 4+ yrs. I say plus because It took several years to finally diagnose what I had. I won't even start to list all the symptoms I was experiencing. That would take too long.. But just a list a few. Coughing weasing, extreme chest pain, zero energy or strength. Extremely frustrated on the lack of medical advice to help heal, I decided to address the food side of things. I've been doing carnivore 4 weeks, and it seems like the sarcoidosis switch has been turned off. I have not seen much of anything on diet for this disease, just steroids to control the symptoms. I've been cycling off these said drugs and hope to be free of them soon.
Thanks again! Byron
I was always weak and sick, had stomach problems when eating vegetables and less meat. Got very fat 103kg and im 180m tall. I decided to go carnivore and fast too. 3 days fast and 1 day just carnivore day. In 5 months i lost 30kg. Now i do 18 hours fast and eat homecooked meat, eggs, dairy. I also exercise this is my 2nd month of exercising and its amazing how my body is growing quick. Thanks to you i am healthy now. Before i had very low magnesium levels even if i took half a year supplement still very low. Now that i do carnivore magnesium is a bit higher from the accepted maximum. I am very happy.
Thx Doc B. 👍🇺🇸👍
Hello Dr. Shawn Baker, I also have problems with digestion on the carnivorous diet. Now I did a test for the bacterium helicobacter pylori. The result is positive. Is it possible that this bacterium is causing problems in the carnivore diet?
My LDL is 160 and the doctor wants to keep retesting me and already wants me on statins. 34 years old eat clean work construction and lift weights.
The real question - Do we care about "associations" ? No. We must stop accepting the ones that fit our bias and / or stop rejecting what doesn't just because of bias. Reject all or accept all. Best to reject to some level, all associations, epidemiology and non-controlled short term trials, small specific groups and most animal studies. We vote meat and eggs good. However the other side has x10 times the number of "association" data studies.
So the other side just has a bigger pile of crap 😅
@@leemanwrong my point, they have the exact same doctors and exactly the same scientists. Also mean this study is crap.
That's how it goes when studies are funded by Big Bucks from religious cults and pharma. Eating meat doesn't have a hundred year old cult behind it, and pharma won't fund studying something that will lose them money. This ain't your grandaddy's research anymore.
@@leemanwrongyou just made his point. The "good" studies are not the ones you agree with and the "bad" studies the ones you disagree with. You need to be able to look at any study objectively and assess it's methods and limitations.
Yes, an epidemiological study will show an association or lack of one. If there is none, then there cannot be cause and effect. If there is one then it can form the basis of an hypothesis and further research to prove or disprove. An epidemiological study CANNOT PROVE CAUSE AND EFFECT

Cholesterol is good and protective.
I love carnivore but I have a red plaque on my chest that might be psoriasis and they say red meat, dairy and eggs are foods to avoid and they are precisely my food...
Try rubbing coconut oil on it with a bit of massage for a couple of minutes once a day. This is just to improve circulation and keep it clear of fungal and bacterial influence so that your body can hopefully sort it out itself. If that will help, you'll see the results in about a week.

My LDL from a test two weeks ago was 541.
Good work. Keep it up. Pointless number to track. HDL To Triglycerides ratio is actually useful. Why it’s all but ignored by soyance.
@@andredaedone5 as long as triglycerides are low (below 75) and HDL high (above 75), and CAC is zero. And as long as the waist to height ratio is half, probably all good.
@@forester057💯. This Forester speaks the truth.
My recent LDL results was 387. I followed up to find I had a CAC score of 370. This could be better. My diet has been strict carnivore (ribeyes, ground beef, chicken, eggs) for over 2 years. My doctors want to put me on a statin. Unclear to me what I should do considering the latest research findings, which my doctors are not aware of. They keep referring to the Framingham study.
@@jonesr227 Although, I have never got a CAC score but went for the lifeline screening today without any red flags..I will know more in a few days, this is what I would do. Do the math for VLDL which is Total Cholesterol minus HDL and minus LDL = VLDL These little buggers are the culprit and anything under 40 is within range. My last test my HDL was high which is food at 80 and my VLDL was 38, so I went into a 100 hour water fast for autophagy, to clean those little buggers up. I'm will get my lipid screening again in August but I think I am one of those hyper responders they take about. What supplement do you take?
The reverse causation argument makes no logical sense. Essentially ldl is lowering in conjunction with disease progression would imply the body requires ldl in order to fight disease progression! The reverse causation argument ends up completely circular.
There isnt enough distinction between LDL and VLDL.
It doesn't matter either way as neither is the cause of heart disease.
@@leemanwrongI think you need to do a little research. LDL was made out to be a boogie man because we have a drug for it. Statins. But the "regular" LDL is pretty neutral in terms of cardiovascular health. VLDL on the other hand is the product of your liver turning sugar into fat. That VLDL becomes small dense LDL, and THAT is very bad for you and your heart. This is why looking at fasted Triglycerides is important. Much more so than just an LDL number, which measures both.
@@mwbeckIt's only a useful measure if there's something to do about it. 🤷
@@bendy6626it is a useful measure, particularly HDL / Triglycerides. And you can easily do something about it with simple dietary intervention. Cut out sugar, raise your HDL. And like magic, you won't be metabolically sick or have a heart attack.
@@bendy6626it IS a useful measure, particularly HDL / Triglycerides. And you CAN do something about it if your ratio isn't ideal with simple dietary intervention ie cut out sugar and eat foods which will raise HDL. There is no essential dietry cholesterol , just like there is no essential carbohydrate .
Everyone in carni land would agree with that .
I think they would also agree there is no essential trans fatt exclusively found naturally in unhealthy animal products .🤢
So you're now speaking on behalf of the carnivore community too? How humble and honest of you, bot.
If at this point you're not convinced that most of what we deem as nutritional """""""science""""""" doesnt know what's essential to us,
then you need new algorithms, bot. But of course a bot cant realize that by itself...
You’re confusing trans fats with saturated fat -animal products are high in saturated fats which are great for the human body (despite its demonisation in the past). Trans fats are in processed foods that the SAD is based on.

After looking at this study, i mark it as a nothing burger. It was just a data mining exercise but since they used an existing data set, information youd want to know, like is the patient on a statin? Couldnt be ascertained. I also question its results, not because of LDL, but because Triglycerides were not found to correlate to all cause mortality. Study after study has linked high Triglycerides to heart attacks. So why didnt this one? I just dont think this study offers anything valuable. Just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
I disagree. Thank you for your permission 🤦
