It's tacky to insult your neighbor and friend at the same time, even worse to threaten said friend "to break him/her to pieces".The pebble brain crack is very hurtful and rude too.
I tell you Barney had wayyyy to much patience wit Fred throughout the series as many times as Fred disrespected Barney and put him in life threatening situations he still liked Fred I just know if I ever had a friend like Fred that friendship wouldn't have lasted
Yea Fred was am ass plus he only liked Barney when Barney was doing good for himself also Fred always yelled at Welma. In real life Fred wouldn't have a wife or a friend for the way he acts.
No they don't now a days their afraid to put anything on cause people are to offended by everything. If they put these shows on TV it would get canceled for the dumbest reasons.
1:16 Fred Flintstone: Why, you! (chasing a crying Scooby-Doo) I'll give you something to cry about if I catch you! (keeps hitting Scooby-Doo on the head with a golf club)

"The Golf Champion". And the impact propels Fred into his house, crashing into the kitchen! WILMA: (racing into the kitchen) "Fred!!!! FRED!!!!!!!!" **the refrigerator door opens, as Fred is caught in a hole in the middle, holding a leftover pterodactyl leg......** WILMA: "WHAT are you doing in the refrigeraror?" FRED: {chomping on the leg) (sarcastic) "Never mind! Pass me the salt."
Flintstones started in 1960-1966, I was born in December 1966. As a little kid in the 1970's, I remember taking Flintstones vitamins. But why did they replaced Betty Rubble to Fred Flintstones' car instead? The Jetsons were okay and alright but I love the Flintstones best of all? RIP Mel Blanc who is the voice of Barney Rubble, Dino the Dinosaur, Bugs Bunny, Porky 🐖 Pig, and hundreds of others. Barney Rubble was my most favorite cartoon character in the Flintstones.
I wasnt born until 85 but this one of my absolute favorite cartoons. I didnt know barney and bugs had the same voice actor.but, now that i hear barney's voice, he does sound like bugs a bit.
It wasn't the only cartoon TV show with a laugh track; The Jetsons, Top Cat and others had it. And loads of Saturday morning cartoons had them. hanna-barbera.fandom.com/wiki/Laugh_track The Flintstones was the second prime time cartoon show. The first was The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, according to Wikipedia.

“Twenty five hundred people in bedrock and I gotta pick this pebble brain for a neighbor.” 😆

That line from Fred, makes me laugh! 0:37
Why is it that Barney has had plenty of patience with Fred, but Fred sometimes has absolutely no patience for Barney.?

Peace and quiet isn't really a hobby.A hobby would be sports ,listening to music,coin collecting,stamp collecting,maybe gardening,cooking,etc.

Where my family lived in the mid to late 60s, they showed the Flintstones on tv every afternoon .My younger brother and I used to watch it every day ☺
