My mom grew up watching The Flintstones and loves them dearly! I'm so glad she introduced The Flintstones to me and my sisters! It's almost sad that there are people out there who have never heard or seen an episode of the Flintstones. They don't make cartoons like the Hanna-Barbera shows these days. Yaba-daba-doo!
I remember those days in TV, even when I wasn‘ t a child anymore I was amused. And today with the age of 70 I can lough about the ideas to bring modern times to stoneage. Best scene here loughing loud, the start of the airplane engines 😂
A wonderful sense of relatability of truth in everyday scenarios in an average modern american setting, set as a portrayal in the stone age for comedy and interestment.
I love Beddrock. What a clever town. The animals were well trained although I felt sorry for their many positions. I'm sure people don't approve of today. When we were kids we just thought about the fun in this not the make believe mistakes..still this is way more realistic than hardly any animed cartoon they have out today and it still makes U laugh or messes with your emotions. Very iconical classic. Glad I met the Flinstones a long time ago.
That’s exactly what old timers said about the beautifully drawn and animated Looney Tunes and Merry Melodies cartoons in 1960, when the crudely drawn Flintstones and Jetsons debuted.
I'm born in 2008 and i watched this show when i was 7 years old ( 2015 ) and i still love this show, it doesn't matter how old you are, it only matters if you enjoy it 💗.
thats the idea since they share a world in fact the Jetson home is over a national park within a day's drive of Bedrock its self so they are likely sister cities if not part of the same one
Oh tell me about it. Public transport in Florida cities is horrendous. Worst offenders, Orlando an JAX. Miami at least has a "subway". Though those are only the ones I've known in FL.
There is a creative originality in the first season that, at least for me, is lost in the following ones. Particularly the last two. Yet still, I grew up loving this show, IN SPANISH!!!….ever since the 1960’s ❤😊
I loved the Flintstones! I grew up watching them. Everyone in my family loved these cartoons! They were funny as I LOVE LUCY! Miss the actors who were their voices. The antics they came up with (Fred and Barney) cracked me up! Reminded me of The Jackie Gleason Show, Ralph Cramden and Norton! Any comedy on television in pure black and white!
This was one of my favorite cartoons growing up Fred Flintstone stayed getting in trouble and don't forget he got Barney in trouble as well. That's why this cartoon wouldn't have been that funny if wasn't for Fred doing dumb thing...... You Feel Me

My favorite afternoon cartoon of the 90s.... We were so lucky. Today's kids will never know what's a real cartoon. Thanks Cartoon Network for all the memories.
One of the most creative cartoons ever made!!
That bee captured in the clamshells to shave caused an unexpected outburst. This may be the most creative cartoon of all time.

Absolutely loved the Flintstones. Real shame we don’t see great shows like it anymore. Thanks for sharing these great memories 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cause folks allowed politics to spread it's root too deep.
Agreed mate
When cartoons were really well made.
We were lucky as kids to have such good cartoons.
And to think that this wasnt made with kids in mind.
Now the kids have animated ads. We had ads, but the actual story is an ad now.
True, but there's still something to be said for Ren and Stimpy.
Nothing has changed

The animators were inventive in creativity themselves 😁
I always liked the overworked birds and their snide comments
No labor laws at that time, the poor animals were exploited.
Imagine your alarm saying "It's a living."
These planes fly with only two birds if necessary 🤣🤣🤣
One of my best cartoons while growing up in d 80s
ya mean 60's
So cute, I'd still watch these old shows.
I watched this show in the 70’s and 80’s! I still love it and bought some of the seasons on iTunes years ago!
Used to watch this cartoon during the 90s and it aired long before that. Shows how good the writing was for it to last this long.
Brings back memories..

I never noticed, as a kid, that Freds' car was right or left hand drive, depending on the episode.
But how can you tell if he had used right or left hand drive on his car. Fred used his feet as brakes which for me would hurt like hell.

I miss watching this as a kid late nights in the weekends. The prehistoric setting was genius
I used to watch this with my grand dad back when I was little. This is a high quality rip.

This was my favorite aspect of the Flintstones. The substitute tools they used for things that hadn't been invented yet 😎
PETA would be outraged
People for the Ethical treatment of Dinosaurs .
Especially since all of the prehistoric cars did not seem to have any bottoms to the vehicles and they used their feet as brakes. That would hurt.
