Not in normal conditions no. If you have a shaded lamp or something behind you it's no problem. If you're pointing an architects lamp directly at it? Maybe a bit. I actually use this in the light whereas I haven't with any other monitor I've tested. It handles moderately lit rooms fantastic.
Check my review out, but no fan noise. 12 pp Hz is correct but not noticeable. HDR 1000 works fine, but the other modes are better and more accurate imo.
@@rafad1201 the f version removed the gsync and put freesync and your able to firmware update it via USB. I believe thr fan noise was mostly due to the gsync module. Now that it's removed it's less heat. Plus AW redesigned the vents on the F
@@rafad1201 I've not ran my panel that long, but after a couple of multiple hour sessions, the F version is still silent. Maybe turn down the brightness a bit? It may be that G-sync module though.
ROCK AND STONE!
For Karl!
Should I buy this or save about $800-$900 and just try the HP X34 for $350 ($250 refurb)?
The image quality difference between the two is immense. If you want the best get the Alienware. The x34 is very ok.
It has built in speakers? How do they sound?
Quite mediocre. 20 dollar speakers are better but they're usable.
Hi thanks for the video is there an issue when the room is lit where the black bars look grey?

@@BespokeTech can you run a reflection video test under different viewing conditions it will help a lot people.
@@BespokeTech and thanks for getting back to me
@@gilner12 I'll see what I can do. This video actually had a lamp behind the camera BTW. Excellent result.
is it glossy? heard they change it to a mat coating compared to the AW3423DW
It's anti glare, but with a tiny touch of shine. Impressive whatever it is
@@BespokeTech I agree I have one. Im using an Asus monitor with a matt finish. Compared to that my new AW3423DWF is glossy.
Using custom resolution, could it do 10 bit 144Hz?
157hz custom and i got 10bit
has it fan noise? somebody says its only 120hz 10bit or 165hz 8bit. it that true? and can you chech hdr 1000 mod?i heard some problem on hdr 1000
