@ana paula how much you make is dependent on how well you market your business. It all starts with knowing and understanding your target customer. As for profit.. that will be based on how you price your products. I recommend at minimum a 70% profit margin
Seriously now watching all your videos! When you are talking about the store that’s how I felt about photography. A lot of my friends that were photogs started acting very weird toward me and everything you are saying is literally just like how it is in photography ... drama, jealousy, unprofessionalism . I want to do an online store so I don’t have to travel as much ( I’m 28 with 4 kids) and the town we moved in is a town of 400 so I’m planning on selling things and doing my own photos and at first storing everything in our garage...Sounds crazy to others but in my head I can see it. Really thank you for being so open and sharing this basic info. I know you can’t give all the bread and butter because you can’t tell what makes your store your store that’s for people to figure out what their own style is. You seriously though are so kind for doing this. Thank you!

This one was a real eye opener. I had no idea that competing businesses would not only be unfriendly, but brutal and "haters". The fashion industry is quite a cut throat business. Actually, that applies to most businesses I guess because they're all competing for a limited amount of disposable income. The fact that you've survived through COVID says a lot. Hang in there! I don't own a buisness yet but from hearing other peoples experiences theres less risk with online store and its not as hard or as expensive to start up so online is better to start with and then a brick and mortar store if thats what you really want can be opened up later
That's so awful that other stores were acting that way towards you but they must have felt threatened. It's actually smarter if businesses don't oppose each other because never know when they might need to collab in some way and that they do exist on the same fashion market. If zara, asos, forever 21, Gucci, chanel, lulu's, etc. can exist together and still do well then other stores can too. Awesome that you have great employees that work well together! It's hard enough when you become an entrepreneur (i've recently opened an online business) and step out on your own.. It's scary and not easy... and then to have unsupportive and negative people around you. But, you have to tune all that out and live your dream because it's what makes you happy. I love what you're doing and think you have a super cute store! 👌
