bougie on a budget first off, amazing TH-cam name haha. I made tags for my clothing through Uprinting.com with my logo on one side and the other side blank. It's super important to tag your clothes for your online business. I unfortunately had to learn this the hard way in the beginning. I would receive online returns that had been worn so it's a good way to prevent that from happening. Most people won't go to an event with a big ol' tag on their dress! For your other question, packaging is KEY. I use plastic mailing bags that can be bought on amazon. I wrap each garment in tissue and top it with a a sticker. You want each customer to be excited about opening their order. It definitely helps customers want to purchase again from your store!

I'm in the process of starting my own online boutique and I've desperately reached out to several boutique owners for a little help and guidance and they either ignore me or give me the runaround and totally dance around my question. One of the main things to do before launching is to be clear on WHO your target customer will be and what she/he values. That will help with marketing and with the inventory you end up purchasing!
This was 100% helpful and I am proof that it is also accurate! I live in Florida, the only other thing I had to do was contact my county tax collector and pay a $30 business tax receipt, (this price depends on your business & is also the last step after doing a fictitious name) I am doing an online boutique so this was the price for that in my county. So i recommend for everyone to check with their county to make sure they cover all basis there as well. :) Thank you!
