19:32 As I often do, I like to do a "inflation calculation" into modern times. $300 in 1979 (air date) is $1,068.92 today, $400 is $1,425.22. Not that expensive to make such a destructive device. Looks like those terrorists have money too. At 20:42, Lou could have said for Jack to ask him a off the wall yes or no question. For example, "is it raining outside?". This way, it releases any liability from everyone. 32:07 You ain't seen nothing yet, peaches! Just wait until 2020 when we have a world wide illness requiring us to keep our distance from each other. Let suppose that Joani and Rossie's relationship flourishes to a point where marriage is talked about... isn't it sort of a right of passage that the man works for his fiance's father's company... or in this case, the company her father works for?

Croatian independence . . . that finally happened in 1991 when Yugoslavia began to fall apart.

If Charlie doesn't want his daughter dating another newspaper man, he may need to question his career choices in life.

Joe Spano is very good looking with a beard. Few walk through my fantasies but he and Edward Mulhare, also with a beard, take top billing. :-)

Too bad Joe couldn't have kept it when he played Goldblume on Hill Street Blues.

Why did the writers etc produce this 'unthinkable' storyline when America had already dropped 2 Atomic Bombs on People? Or was the unthinkable that a Bomb would be dropped on America?

I always wondered why the relationship between Rossi and Joanie never went any further. It was a bit disappointing. I would love to have seen Rossi do a love scene💜💜 If he really liked her, he should have tried harder to keep it going. He seemed to be more anxious to break things off:(

If this was real life, it was a smart move for him to cool it between them. He liked working at the Tribune and having her dad as his boss was a major complication, however you slice the situation. Of course, if he quit the Tribune, things might turn out different.

Different actress as Beth stated. This version- Dinah Manoff- also co-starred in the TV series Empty Nest- spin-off of Golden Girls.

@@robribant6716 I loved her on SOAP & Empty Nest. When her character Elaine died, I was actually sad. She did a great job with that modern day "taming of the shrew" bit.

Especially in the movie Grease...not sure if this is before or after.

This would be after considering Grease, though released in 1978, was filmed during the summer of 77.

A man who hates his mother is NO friend of mine. Neither here; nor in Heaven. See children, a message given you; if you ARE harming our mother EARTH that supports us, in life, as a kind mother. Then you hate your mother. My cross is a symbol of the birth canal, the arm beams are the falopian tubes and the bottom is the birth canal; the head of the cross is the chamber of entrance. My mother , is the essence of life into this world. The first mother ye. And to hate her, to desecrate her very ism is to be not born unto creation. I feel as was the supporting mother, earth, is important out of the womb, as a final mother. and her treatment is your marker for destiny. Hate thou your mother and you find no home in Zion. SELAH! - Jesus p.s. -Get it right Children, you have a short period of time. I say you.
