This particular ship would make for an amazing UCS set in the future for more space for characters and more details. Either this, or the Ghost ship.
The Ghost definitely seems like the more commercially viable choice.
Great review as always, but your older T-6 shuttle seems to have gone through some rough times during the clone wars, missing a chunk above the engines and its flick fire missiles

I think if they did something like what they did with the echo figure in marvel cmf series 2 where it had dual molded and printed arms so the skin is showing on the top part of the arm. The Ahsoka would’ve been the greatest SW figure we’ve ever gotten

You should do a modification tutorial to make the bottom side of the wings look as good as the top side.
I wonder if tiles would make it too heavy for spinning, like caused too much drag. It would be cool to see some mods on it and see what effect it had.
God I love the Sabine minifure, that alone makes the set worth if for me. I was worried but Star Wars nailed her look, even gave her a back plate finally and Lego did a great job to. The set is maybe a bit to overprised but I still think it´s worth it. My only complain really is the lack of detail on the underside of the wings
I'm definitely buying specifically for the Sabine minifigure, especially since this is the first Sabine minifigure we have that comes with her helmet!
@@jakereprah Yeah such a great figure but one of the rebels figure of her came with a helmet as well but yeah the new one is defenetly an improvement

Definitely picking this one up. The only thing I’m debating now is whether to do the Guard Ship or duo ship pack
I would pick the E-Wing set but you must know what you want 😉
Yeah both are good I would say decide after Ashoka comes out to see if the E Wing set is worth it
The e wing and shin hatis star fighter is a must have to me. All these combo sets are always super sought after when they retire and I love how colorful both the ships are in the set. Plus we got 2 of these vs ship sets. Amazing!

I have the original, might consider this one, however after watching the review i dont really see a point of getting the same ship as I dont really care about the minifigures much
That Ahsoka looks awesome. She has gone through a big evolution through the years since 2008. The printing on her is incredible just as the rest of the characters.

The shuttle is way too small and the underside of the wing looks unfinished.
Lego went lazy with this one's wing
If they had included inverted tiles for the bottom, the price would be higher. They choose to keep it as cheap as possible.

I do think LEGO failed in making the T-6 shuttle since it only carry one figure. But the figures are excellent and the aesthetic are good. I’ll wait for a sale mainly for the figures.

Just saw this at Walmart, 29th of August, a few days before it’s even supposed to be on shelves, but I said no. If it were 60 or 65 they would have had me but not for $80. I’ll wait.
I think it looks really sleek. The older one looks a bit sluggish compared to the new one. and the minifigures from the 2023 one are just awesome

Great minifigures! Surprisingly, after watching all the reviews it looks like gunship is one of the weakest sets out of the whole wave 🤔🤦🏼♂️
I personally like the gunship more since it have all the feature of a gunship while the T-6 is a glorified star fighter instead of a shuttle.

@@viperson9818you can't really add alot of clones on the gunship compared to the older models because there is not enough space it's too small and the top of the minifigs is barely not touching the overhead of the gunship in the cargo bay.

On amazon this set is £65, the e-wing combo set is £95 and the ghost is i believe £140-150. Wonder why the sets are cheaper in the uk compared to the us unless thats just money conversion.
I love the mini figures, and love the bricks. (Red is my favorite color) The build? I didn't even bother and started checking out alternate builds off rebrickable.

man...not SNOT tiling the wings other side was a HUGE mistake! it flies with the wing of the shuttle straight up for fucks sakes! this is a 50 bucks set, or 60 with the wing fixed
How do people forget that this brand “Hyundai” continuously has to recall their cars for reasons as extreme and often as catching on fire and blowing up??? Lmao. Like how are you all so easily dismissive to the fact that Thi’s manufacturer does not care about longevity or safety and only to appeal to western markets.

Space aside, my main issue is how loose the wings seem. I remember the 2011 one having a really good system to maintain friction

I really like that theyve backed away from so much light gray like they used to do with sets in the clonewars i feel like it was a lot of light gray with some darker highlights, the colors theyve been choosing have been so good i love these darker grittier looking ships
I know its not a clone wars set but comparing this to the clone wars one which was white, i like this a lot

Great review of great set, the minifigures are Amazing and build looks really good!
This set is such a big disappointment to me, due to easily having the best minifig selection of the Ahsoka set, but a pretty weak build. The underside being completely undetailed, only having room to place one of the four minifigs, and the overall small size for an $80 set means I don't anticipate picking this up unless it's at a steep discount... A shame, because I REALLY want that Sabine figure...
For now, Ill just be picking up the Ghost.
Hinestky this set is just kind of disapointing. Ont hing i liked about the older lego star wars sets is how they prioritized internal space for figures accesories. Nowadays it feel slike they they overlook that amd focus on making soemthing quick with minimal features. This set was definitely a letdown and will likely only stay on shelves till black friday rolls around where it will hopefully get a cheaper price point.

After watching the newest episode, yeah I'm gonna have to at least buy this and the $110 set.
I wanted this set at first, but the cockpit is a huge downside, & the underside having zero detailing. Is a major downfall to me, makes it to where all i want out of the set is the minifigs & a star wars set shouldnt be like that. One of the biggest things about lego star wars is the ships.
Might want to boost your audio levels a bit. Compared to other videos you sound super quiet...almost have to put you to max volume to hear at a normal level
I think the wing undersides are a little disappointing, but in terms of display, it's not that big of a deal. Just decide which side of the shuttle will be on display, then make it so that the top side of the wing is facing outwards. I plan to get this when it releases, especially as it's only £65 in the UK. Cool vehicle, cool minifigs. Not beyond criticism, but still a great-looking set IMO.
Saw it yesterday in store build up. Pretty nice for its Price.

Does anyone else speculate that Marrok might be a droid of some sort? I know it seems unlikely but with the amount of mysterious faceless characters that have turned out to be droids...
Only got this set for the figs as the professor will most likely be exclusive but yeah all the figs are great detail tho i prefer the older build with two in the cockpit

Love the reviews mate, noticed compared to other Lego content creators your videos always seem a bit more on the quiet side, listen to you in full volume and still find it not very loud, quality is fantastic just not able to hear it very well 😂

Great set and price, but wish it had more detail on the other side of the ship.
The lack of “bottom” even tho I wouldn’t even consider it the “bottom” in flying form, as well as the small cockpit, and $80us $100+ cad makes it no for me. 5/10

the audacity that disney has to include an inquisitor named Marek, i stg it better be who we all want it to be cuz u just can’t name a random inquisitor that. but if it really is Galen Marek this show has the possibility to be fantastic. We would get Anakin back, it could be the introduction of Starkiller, and i’m not puttin all my money on it but i’ve heard rumors of a live action Rex so hopefully that happens.

I really like the Ahsoka wave. I think the characters are highly detailed and I like the vast colors and shapes of the ships in this wave. However, I think a $55-60 price would be better. Hoping a new Thrawn character in a set can come out of the Ahsoka series maybe next year.
