As an immigration consultant agency, we get a lot of papers in handwriting or in print, that we have to scan all the time. On a normal day, we scan more than 200 papers! So the fact that Canon MF445dw has an automatic two-sided scanning feature is a life-saver for us! It automatically scans both sides of the document and puts in a neat little PDF file that it sends you through an email. The scan quality is really good too, by the way. Yes, it is monochrome but we do not need color printing anyway. Probably the best monochrome printer in the market right now!
The Canon MF445dw is the cheapest printer you can get that offers duplex scanning. As an accountant, I can safely say that this has saved my life! I easily scan invoices, pay stubs, receipts for business expenses, and whatever else you can think of! And I havent even told you the real kicker: this has internal OCR, so you will automatically get editable PDF documents, which is just incredible! So glad I switched to this from my old and inefficient inkjet printer, who needs color printing anyway!
I was on the market for a printer for my team of 8 people so I knew small printers would not cut it. I went ahead and bought the Canon MF743CDW. This beast can do everything, it scans really fast and prints even faster! A maximum of 10 people can be connected to this machine, which is great as everyone on my team can use it whenever they need it. It is a bit pricy but this baby is great for small businesses like mine!
The Canon MF743CDW is really good, it prints a lot better than your old regular inkjets, the color copies are simply perfect. The scanning works really well and it's also fast as well, we use it all the time. Another thing I like is the amount of paper you could store on this machine, up to 850 papers can be stored on this which basically means you won't have to be stocking papers for a long time! My only gripe is the toner prices, which really cost an arm and a leg. The toners last for a long time, but when it's time to replace them you will have to pour yourself a drink and contemplate your finances :)
We have a small office of 6 people and we needed an efficient and relatively inexpensive printer. Canon Imageclass MF445DW was the perfect choice for us, as we print out a lot of pages on a normal day (we are a translation agency, to give you an idea!). The toners last a long time and you can stock a lot of papers on the printer. We also have a smaller inkjet printer that we only use when we just HAVE TO print something in color, which does not happen very often. I really like the Canon, it has been a trouble-free year with it and we use it daily. Highly recommend it to everyone who deals with a lot of paperwork!
Canon Imageclass MF445 DW is the most commercially viable printer on this list, if you are getting it for an office it's a fantastic choice! The cartridges that are included with your purchase can last for 3100 pages. Yes, you read that right, 3100. Not only it prints really efficiently, but it also has duplex scanning. If you had to use a single side scanner with a 50-page two-sided document, you know what an absolute chore single side scanning is! I cannot overstate what a great bang for your buck this printer is. If you own a small business, go out and get this right now!
I saw some negative reviews on the Brother HLL2390DW because people were expecting the toner to last 3000 pages. Come on people, no starter toner lasts that long! You are going to have to get the high-yield toner if you want 3000+ prints. The starter toner is rated at 400 pages and so far I was able to print 500 pages with it, which is good value in my book. By the way, my starter toner has not run out even after 500, I am guessing I can get another 100 pages out of this easily!
The Brother HLL2390DW is a great little printer, not to mention really economical! It has Wi-Fi capabilities, this is my first printer where I can print stuff wirelessly which seems like a miracle for me! The printing quality is good, it is monochrome after all so I am guessing no one is going to print artwork with this. I do not like the scanner though. It has good quality, dont get me wrong. It just does not have duplex scanning. When you are dealing with 50 pages of two-sided documents, this can get real tedious real fast!
The Canon MF743 Cdw is great at printing color documents, in fact, I would dare to say that it is as good as our old HP Inkjet. However, this is an industrial-level printer. You should make sure you REALLY NEED a color laser printer because while the printer itself is not awfully expensive, high-capacity toner is really expensive. The monochrome MF445dw is a lot cheaper to operate compared to this, so get this if you actually need color printing. Otherwise, you will save so much money with other monochrome options.
Hey Taylor sorry if this is a stupid question but what is the difference between inkjet and laser printers I am looking for a printer for our small office and I am so new to all of these things, I got confused! Any help would be appreciated!
No such thing as a stupid question, thanks a lot for asking this! So inkjet printers are great for color printing, however, they will waste more ink than laser printers. They will also be slower than laser printers. Laser printers are the exact opposite, they print really fast but not as good when it comes to printing things in color. Since you are looking for something for your office, I think a laser printer will be the solution for you! Let us know which one of the printers you decided on and how you are liking it!
Unfortunately, you cant with the Brother HLL2390DW. However, MF445dw from Canon does have the duplex scanning capability, so if that is really important for you, I suggest you pay the extra money and get that one!
That would be the Imageclass MF445dw, with 900 papers in total. However, the MF743Cdw follows it with 850 papers, so I would suggest deciding on whether you will need color printing or not!

How much paper can you stock on the Canon ImageClass MF445DW?
The maximum amount of paper you can stock on the Canon ImageClass MF445DW is 900. It's the highest amount on this list!

Hi there does anyone know if you can use card stock with MF743Cdw?
Yes, you can print on stock paper with the MF743Cdw, it supports up to 73 lb stock paper. Hope I was able to help you out!
We are going to go through a lot of paper, which one of these printers has the highest paper capacity?
That would be the Imageclass MF445dw, with 900 papers in total. However, the MF743Cdw follows it with 850 papers, so I would suggest deciding on whether you will need color printing or not!
