When I work with Adobe softwares like Photoshop and Illustrator, I like working with RGB & HSB color settings, but every time I posted a masterpiece using school printers, they can never accurately get the colors or darkness right
All crap printers except the LaserJet.
Don’t sign up for subscription ink -I foolishly did from HP, but kept getting emails saying I had used more than my weekly rate, when I hadn’t used it for a month. It’s a huge corporate scam and should be outlawed !
i had that and it kept saying they werent the right ink cartridges. ive had problems with 4 HP printers. never agian.
I hate HP printers. They make it impossible to use any ink cartridge except theirs by mail. Hate their customer service , too!
Couldn't agree more
Thank you for that detail.
I use off brand recycled printer cartridges with mine just fine
They are horrible.
That's what i'm lookung for, the printer with the most available ink
Yeah lets just skip over ink... lets totally not talk about the caveat at all, lets ignore the fact you get almost no ink in those cartridges and they cost you an arm and a leg.
Trying to tell my husband the ink tanks are better but he just sees the current price and not the long run😢
@megantibbott7714 how much are the tank n where do you purchase??
Stay away from hp printers they break just after warranty is finished and you don't get help from them at all. rubbish!
hp = hell printer
What did you get
Hp smart tank it wasn't cheap either.
You missed the most important info when looking at printers, the cost of the Ink, thanks for wasting my time.👎
I wouldn't recommend HP to my worst enemy
As a big user of home printers since the late 90's, I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you on that! It's been consistent over the years...HP printers are problematic, and underperform. Canon's are the best and the easiest in my opinion, with Epson being second. Just wish they'd provide more reasonable prices on their ink.
ur right
howwwww trye i am the victim of hp too twice 😢😢😢😢
yup. I myself learned my lessons with both a Hp printer and HP PC and I will NEVER EVER buy anything from them ever again!! the are the Worst of the Worst!!!
Can’t believe I came to this video because I hate my printer and am thinking about buying a new one only to find out one of he printers being recommended is the one i’ve stared at in disbelief and frustration for so many months. Since the first print I noticed my epson expression had the colors kind of wrong, black and grey looking too blue and the red too purpley, something that I did not enjoy since I wanted to print small posters on glossy paper. To this day I know not how to fix it and have sadly given up on such an idea. Another thing is that it is in constant need of calibration (calibration? more like attention, am I right fellas????). It seems like we won’t have to worry about machines taking over soon because this little piece of crap won’t remember it’s own calibration for longer that a week. And it often requires more that one calibration test to get it working, so that I waste all that precious ink that costs more than my liver. Talking about cartridges, this thing actually feels superior to me enough to tell me what to do in my own house! I happen to be a bit on the lower side of red ink but in a hurry to print a black and white school paper? Sucks to be me, because unless I go out in the middle of the night to buy more ink that I’m not even planning to use the damn thing will just refuse to work, as if accusing me of slavery unless I feed it my own (red ink) blood. Also, why does it take so goddamn long for it to boot and start printing? Does it really need 5 minutes to stretch, have it’s morning coffee and think about life to print a research paper? Anyway, it sucks, buy at your own risk
This sounds like something a bot would say
@@ashleymichelle7342 I didn’t pour my heart and soul into this comment because of the simple human need to be heard and understood just to be told “tHis SoUNdS lIkE SomEtHiNG a BoT WoUld sAy” by someone with a username that bots pretending to be women use to try and trick someone into buying nudes or whatever catfishing bots do, @ashleymichelle7342
😀Last year I bought the Canon and found it both hard to set up wirelessly and the ink expensive. I don't trust the rest of its reviews.
I had a canon and it was working fine and then all of a sudden had a "hardware error." Looked up how to fix it and canon themselves said there no fix. Just junk. I will never buy a canon product again.
I went for the Epson Expression Home XP-4100, I only need a printer for occasional use so feel this is the best for me as you can replace individual ink. Had HP envy for years but found it stop working with WIN11 and now after the fix and new drivers it keeps missing lines on document. So given up with HP.
Is it good?
Tip for next time : include the prices .
I've had a cheap envy printer for 10 years. Still going strong
What model envy?
Got it on Amazon and they sent me the newer version XP-4200 in the sale, Very good and the Simple change of individual ink makes it great for me as I use mostly black. and grey. Do some black and white pictures and came out beautiful. Worth the money, Amazon was doing it for just under £57 from £90. in the BLack Friday Sale.
I paid about $50 or $60 for a decent Hp printer on sale at Walmart but the problem was that I ended up paying more for cartridges than I ever paid for the printer itself. So it's always good to make sure you buy a good printer that also has cheaper cartridges.
Kind of weird that the top one has no scanning ability...
Cartridges are expensive, you need to break down costs, why no ink tank printers on the list?
We getting bend over with their cartridges. Its not a bit expensive, its very expensive
Depends on what you're printing.....
I'll only print off a 6X4 colour photos if I really need them as it uses a lot of ink. Use the cheap Canon mentioned here at no.6 and it's great for scanning, printing etc with the added bonus of availability of large ink cartridges in black and colour. Any batch colour printing, just send off to your local shop.
Bought the same model for my daughter who was driving me nuts with school print requests. Perfect!
@@fabianmckenna8197 inktank or laser, the rest are a scams for most people.
So looks like I shouldn’t buy an HP. 😂 Thank you comments section.
I just want a black n white printer that doesn't break and is cheap :)
overall you will get better if you're going to a local shop with an USB drive
Look at laser printers. long-lasting toner, cheap to run, reliable. e.g. Brother HL-1212W or Brother HL-L2375DW. Or similar models from HP and Xerox.
I had an HP A3 printer but when they updated the firmware it said I needed genuine HP cartridges and it wouldn't print so I ditched it. I bought an Epson XP257 home expression but after a few years it kept saying I wasn't using genuine cartridges so I replaced it with a Pantum 5600NW laser printer with scanner. The Pantum even lets you refill the toner cartridge with ink powder and tells you how to in the instruction manual. Refilling with toner powder will cost about £12 compared with £75 for the A3 HP or £45 for the Epson.
So no to HP 😅
I'd agree, I have an HP Printer currently; but they stopped supporting it and guess what? It's no longer connecting to my PC while they keep offering me a new Printer. Wouldn't buy their printers again, PC's yes, they are wonderful. But have lost faith in their printers.
Never HP
It's the ink that's important NOTHING ELSE
Omg I love this video. Talks about faxing, cd-roms. It’s the 90s again 🎉🎉
yeah, Canon still has that stupid 90's installing program
Canon has the best printer and great support, and they speak English!
Have a Hewlett Packard and am constantly shocked by how crap it is, with poor connection, expensive ink and software from the 80's. Obvious the company is just price gouging, without investing
Well, being a Canon fan and not liking my few HP experiences I'm going to trust your insight and get Canon TR8620a
Did you buy it?
Yes. It's very simple but covers all my small business/design shop needs. So far so great.@@sstt3827
I just sold my HP because their app kept crashing when scanning documents. Most of the time it also struggled to detect my wireless printer. Anyone else experienced this issue with other brands of printers/scanners?
Yes mine wasn't much cop. Ive just ordered another make.
I have an older HP 7740 - worked fine until they replaced the drivers with HP Smart, which is anything but :( hardware isn't the problem - same issues connecting the app with HP Smart Tank 5xx and 7xx series printers, it's the software that is terrible
Having the same problem 😕
What did you get
Only if I would've come here before I bought that dasmn hp envy 6055e printer doesn't even get found, and it has been stuck on preparing the printer set up 👎
I kept waiting for them to talk about printers but it never happened
Epson ink keeps arriving dried out. Won’t even print one page of ink. The price of ink is so expensive.
Never buy an HP you will regret the massive cost of ink cartridges....
Which Hp has the best reasonable price for ink cartridges? They has only 2 cartridges.
HP cartridges are designed to dry out within about two months if not used. Don't bother with HP. If you really want an inkjet, go get a Canon. At the very least, the cartridges will last longer.
A CD for Canon printer set up??!! in 2023?? Most young people don't even know what is a CD drive! And most laptops don't have one! I had to check again to make sure that this is a review in 2023!
Or download from the internet........
It's not rocket science!
I have a HP 3 in one printer it just stop printing. Tried resetting it when I sent work to I it is connected to WiFi it say it is printing documents but it is not 2700
The library is the best value I found
Glad I found that video, very Informative, great comment section and I don't know why but I enjoyed listening to the narrating due to the Irish accent 🙃
Fantastic, clear, and concise review!!!
Thank you all … all ive been looking up were HP cause ive never had a printer and yall saved me . I don’t care what I buy I know it won’t be an HP😂
I get free ink ; just go to your local fish monger and ask them for the ink from the octopus. Obviously it's only black but it's good quality.
For real?
What printer can I use for printing school documents?
I hate HP printers because the monthly fee for inks. I throw my away, I got tired of that crap. Will never buy hp again.
What other brand doesn't required the monthly fees for inks?
Please i need help, what printer is best for printing school and office documents😢
BROTHER
A CD in 2024... haha this printer is stuck in the year 2004.... we don't even have CD readers anymore crazy it comes with a CD still this printer. Should just have downloadable drives / software.
Everybody ripping HP, but which one do I even buy LOL
Sad thing is, all printers suck. There are some that suck less, there are some that suck more, some are straight up scams, but there isn’t a printer that doesn’t use overpriced ink, prints well, is easy to use and has good customer support. So you just choose which ones you can live without and choose a printer based on that. As to why this is, the answer is capitalism: “There isn’t a good thing because nobody is doing a good thing and if nobody is doing a good thing I can do a bad thing too and still earn money from it!”
Been a big home printer user for over 25 years. Tried them all multiple times. HP does suck. I'd get a Canon printer over any other brand. Less problematic, last longer, and are user-friendly. Hope that helps.
I was hoping to hear about ink costs and programs - and maybe throw in a Brother brand. Even a rough cost for the printer, like “under $300, etc.
Good video, though.
We don't want Hp printer. That company is shady. Hp printer been cought scam people on there printer ink. cartridge..
by manipulating the ink cartridge chip to falsely require ink replacement when the ink cartridge is full.
I was loyal to canon for years, but finally faced that fact that its garbage. I went through four all ending with the sledgehammer. It gives washed out prints, the scanner quits, and the ink cartridges only lasted about fifteen prints. I am looking for something that can at least do a decent job without the ink cart cartridge scam.
Why not say the price in the video? I know prices change but i was hoping to get a rough idea before actually clicking any link. I ‘ll just go to Amazon. Not clicking the links. Smh
Omfg, I just bought an hp printer yesterday, and for whatever reason, when i try to connect it to my cell phone, it stays stuck on preparing printer 👎
@validconsumer, did you test these printers yourself? somehow I think you didn't test these printers and you only made a nice TH-cam video.
I will say print quality on my HP envy is good...however whenever I have to print I have to unplug and replug in. I hate that. My needs are minimal I just want a good product that will print when I want without restarting printer.
Man, I don't _Envy_ you
lol
@@B-Meister
HP has dropped the ball on their calculators. They don't seem to support them anymore.
Thanks for some mentions. The only thing which rolled my eyes is "FAX". How about to roll over to 21st century and forget about fax and transfer speeds like 1 page every 3 minutes.
I bought a cheap Canon pixma printer,
Now paying about $1.10 per page due to ink.
Ink only findable be me with 2 pack including color.
I don't print color...so anybody needs like 2 dozen color cartridges?
I do✌️
hp envy 6000 is absolute hell I'm sorry. I can never just print a thing, every time I start it up I have to spend hours talking to customer support
I hate printers… it got to a point where I just bought a $50 printer WITH ink. Than just buying the ink that’s worth $60…
I’ve had 4-5 printers still in the box one year…
Do not get an HP. If you ever try to do anything but print (for example, scan a document using the scanner you already paid for) you will be forced to pay for a subscription. Call me crazy but if you buy a scanner/copier, you should be able to scan and copy...
Ok
I am glad I can skip through the video. I won't watch the presentation on HP and I would not buy an HP printer again, ever. And I'm not interested in any printer that does no offer fair ink pricing.
With all the technology today why can’t you get a decent durable printer with decent ink cost. Make you wonder if all of these cost factors are deliberate just like everything else in life.
It seems HP is more focused on marketing 😂
HP sauce yea! HP printers nay
Is this Jonathan Saccone Joly speaking??
Canon mg 3620 requires a scientist with 50 years of training to setup the wireless. Dont buy this crap. What a waste.
My 13 year old grandaughter set it up after I bought her one for school work.
Guess education standards are slipping in some places!
P.S. She helps us out with TH-cam, WhatsApp etc😊
It connects to only 2.4ghz wifi
Sir, the basic printers is not good for our children's school use. All are expensive inks, and quckly inks finish. I trow my basic printer. When, I buy brother dcp t520w, Inktanks.. Oh, very nice after 1year, only I bought inks just 3colours.the quality is good. Now, we did not believe in adds. In TH-cam..
That's good, ink-tank printers are worth looking at.
Who puts this together and how much does this person know about printers? Cause it seems like you are reading from a list of features provided by the manufacturer.
Who, in 2023, is happy with a CD that has the software on it? What laptop still has a CD-drive?!
Who would still want to use HP printers, when HP is (in)famous for blocking third-party inkt-cardridges in their printers and even making it necessary to have inkt in your printer when using the scanner? Yes, you need printer inkt to scan!!
HP printers become realy realy bad choice
Epson All the way.
What are you talking about? Epson is rubbish.
I bought an Epson XP-440 and it’s a horrible printer. I have spent around $300 dlls in ink. That works to print around 10 prints and when a color fails to print
The software would not let you print at all!
Does anyone still fax??
I prefer Canon
Everyone saying don't get Hp, but not saying what to get.
Been a big home printer user for over 25 years. Tried them all multiple times. HP does suck. I'd get a Canon printer over any other brand. Less problematic, last longer, and are user-friendly. Hope that helps.
@@MarcusBP thanks
How come Hp😂is not true. But inktank good for home use. 😂😂Brother inktank is best as my experienced. Hp, is worse now, before it's okay. Color laser is or brother. Cannon ink jet is expensive inks cartridge not reasonable. Hard in wifi. Brother mono laser is good also.
I have a question for anyone: Recently A relative of mine wanted to buy a printer for her laptop and was told by a clerk at Best Buy that she MUST have an iphone to operate any printer. Is this true? I bought a printer last year but it didn't require an iphone or any smartphone to operate it.
absolutliy NOT. You don't need an iphone to run a printer
@@mindybeeman7062 Thank you!!!!!
How you can promote this printer it is rubish the cannon ap is the most clumsy frustrating in the andriod world
thumbs down for mentioning hp
Hp have no option for multiple photos in one page worst
This was a total waste time. Cost per sheet and pages per cartridge would be useful information.
Don't believe this BS. Most inkjet printers are designed to to make you spend a ton on new print cartridges. HP is the worst offender. Go get yourself a laser printer, probably from brother, and use that. Upfront cost is a little more but you'll save a ton in not replacing cartridges.
DON'T buy ANY HP printers!!!!! Their printer cartridge policy is border line illegal.
I hate All hp products and especially customer services!!!
This listing is more like choosing the lesser of six evils.. they're all terrible.
SO TELL US WHAT TO GO FOR! Everyone in the comments keeps telling us what is crap, WHATS ACTUALLY GOOD!?
@@NateJGames I'd go with something from Brother, they give you a 2 year warranty at least. Brother printers arent usually picky about using off-brand cartdridges either. Printers follow the razor and blade model. So dont cheap out on the printer or you'll find out quickly that the ink for it will cost you a bundle.
was this video written and produced By AI? wtf man.
Ink cartridges? Really?? Your pushing these scam printers?
If you hate yourself get an hp.
HP? are you serious? OH HELL NO!!!!......that's like the absolute worst company ever....DO not BUY ANYTHING from them or you will be sorry!
Church magkakarooooon
HP is a rip off
tell me about i
It is a bit useless without a ball park cost of each printer and an ink cartridge price comparison. I have canon printers and the cartridge prices are outrageous!!!!
This video is useless and missed all most important points, just reading the "on paper specs" yeah they all look good, thanks lol
First of all AVOID the greedy criminal corporate scam HP manufacturer !!! Can't believe these nightmares still listed in the top !
All $50-100 budget printers are just hungry piece of crap that eat all the ink costing your arm and they break down for no reason just after the warranty, no matter the brand.
If you just want a simple black & white printer get a laser one, bit expensive but believe me you won't have to replace the cartridge or fill the tanks only after few pages in a month, they're also long lasting. For All in ones inkjet, I would recommand Brother, or the cheaper Epson. Brother printers are the first options, users have kept them for 10 years without any issue
I said the same thing basically. I’ll share below. 👇 👇 👇 👇
HOW CAN THE #1 RATED PRINTER NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO COPY OR SCAN?!?! These are the secondary and tertiary capabilities that are needed of a printer, especially at this price! Granted printing is what makes a printer a printer (ha ha…. I wrote “printer(ing) 3 times in sentence 🤓) but just having a good clean print (4 x now! 👨💻) and long ink cartridge life should not make it #1….. 🖨️
Yeah the cartridges lasted many and they went $450 for 4 years after you buy the printer for maintenance. This printer sucks and this guy is obviously selling HP printers
don't buy anything from here he did not take into account the MOST IMPORTANT factor cost per page. get yourself a LaserJet or a tank printer.
After trying it out, the HP printer is complete garbage.
I would not buy any of these printer, he ink will cost you more than he price and they do not have all the features. Copying, faxing, double side printing.
HP after 3 years is trash.
HPs are awful printers. The ink is a rip-off.
HP printers are a headache. I am here because I am going to throw out my HP ENVY 5010 piece of rubbish and replace it with something that is not HP.
Canon Pixima is really complicated and diffcuilt to use, and requires downloading app to print from the phone, it gives me hard time everytime I use it... I Will decline this review vid
