When you build a custom cooling system, every single highspot should get a small fitting. Tie them all together and into the top of your fill resovior, along with your steam ports. The resovior should have a 5/8-3/4“ hose off the bottom to the water pump suction side or an aux electric pump pushing into the bottom side circuit. It will constantly bleed the system of air at all high spots. So when you lift a head and start coughing exhaust into the cooling system or boil the piss out of it you will stay cool until you run out of water.
This is my favourite vehicle of your fleet, glad to see it getting some love, screen time, and track time. I enjoy the long running builds where vehicles keep getting improved bit by bit until they're epic (and unique). Maybe I have a long attention span? Whatever happened to that Mercedes wagon? From recollection you'd purchased it back ... is it in the wings waiting for Phase 2 (or are we up to Phase 27)?
In F1 they have different flaps at the back for different tracks depending on ICE thermal load. You need to safety wire the coolant cap? Open pipe to ground... A lot of your projects pose thermal decisions - even EV. I like this project - even if not practical for a pickup.
What’s the steering like on that car, is the steering rack input slow or fast, OEM or modified? I have the later model Audi which requires more steering input.
“Built to suit” I’m pretty sure that’s the long way of saying “Bespoke” or is that a fancy way to say “Built to suit” 🤔 Loving all the content keep up the great work. Much respect from 🇦🇺👍

when you get all the kinks out you need to put it on a dyno - you should actually have your own dyno - maybe you and vince could fab one - would be a money maker #verify

Yeah, the algorithm has been tough to us. I also don't like to act. Channels that take on a persona seem to do better, but I just want to focus on building.
So like Pinky and the Brain? Have a perfect plan of action with one wrong decision and just scrap 2000 hours of work. Got it! I'll put it on the trailer and head to V&R

Do you mean what happened to Stefan Meier? Don't know.
I do miss seeing him on the channel. I'm nor sure if Rich has ever said why he's not around or not.
We’ve said before that he moved further away and started travelling. He is making new content on his own channel now. Project Black Jack
Yay, Quattro Debocho is back! It's the project that brought me to the channel, such a cool build!

This has long been my favorite car on your channel. Happy to see it getting more attention.
You failed to install a fully charged Milwaukee 12 volt battery under the driver seat. I hope this does not affect performance in the future. 😂
My coach couldn't drive it because he is a foot shorter than me
I tried out Debocho in Assetto! It actually drives really well and was a lot of fun to throw around.
Rich, so is all of this a precursor for setting your butt in a Cletus Freedom 500 Crown vic?
That smoke in the front is nothing to worry about - because it is horsepower smoke. 😁😁😁
Gotta be my favourite racing car of all time, love that it's still a retro 4 door saloon, just the most insane version of a 4 door saloon possible.
This was the build that made me a Deboss fan, awesome to see this on a track and making multiple laps!!
You NEED to open the ring gaps!
This car's got 99 problems but, Rich ain't one!
I finally saw the Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashas reference ! Nicely done :-)
You know turning the AC on over 30MPH gives better fuel economy over opening the windows 🤔
Hard work always pays off, even if it's for a little reward 👍👌 awsome work guy's
The hammer wagon was so cool, though i think id do a diesel straight 6cyl merc engine w/ mech pump and turbo upgrade. Or a 2jz swap.
You’ve learned the art of over complicating things, german engineers would be proud 💀
Damn Vince! I know you probably have exhaust but how do you not wear a respirator for the aluminum vapor?
Could you attach small bleed lines from the high points that build air, with check valves? Then route thoes lines to the bottle.
I remember yall building this with strictly junk from tewsly and vnr and the ingenuity in getting the transmission mated is what made me subscribe
When this car is done, I’d love to see Thomas from Throttle House set a lap time in it at Dunnville!
"I don't really know what this is..." It's a polygon!

Wait. You're telling me I only need 50 000 subscribers for $1000/month?
Nice!
I'm building a zero dollar race car with 8 subscribers.
Subscibers is the least important metric to tell you anything related to income, but it's a reference point for us in 2018.
Install a bleed port in the rad? Problem solved.
Never told us if the water issue is now fully resolved.

Why aren't you pulling vacuum at the high point..??...fill at that fitting.....a quick connect low would enable less air introduced while filling.....

Too bad you never got to try it vs ken Block in something comparable. I always thought I'd get to see that. Damn. Anyhow, you've made a hell of a car.
18:04, if Rich doesn't know what he's doing in 2018, then I must REALLY have not damn clue, lol.

I could really take that build to a whole nother level, with a full tube Chromoly chassis, and lose a ton of weight.
Man I thought it would have been countersunk with a door over top of it. Then the relief line coming out beside the door
When you going do something with the old green C30 diesel?
When the bronco and Silverado are going down the road so very soon
It would be convenient to have that engine bleed connected to the header tank at the back, but the plumbing would be a hassle!
Javohl herr commandant....synthetic since 40 ish...😎
That is awesome how fast you can take out the engine and replace it so quickly. You planed that engine in and out to go smoothly. Good video
4:10 You should make that a spring door there should be enough vacuum over the back end of the car to keep that flapper closed for your coolant access
That's the car that got me started on this channel, and I've never looked back.

I strongly recommend the vacuum type coolant fill
Quattro Debocho needs to go to Pikes Peak Hill climb!!! Project car challenge to conquering America’s mountain. Do it!
That is the end goal, but I need some licences and seat time first
Im glad to see this one back on the channel. Great work!
Now, where is the LS boat content?
Unfortunately, as the boat is in fully working condition, I'm going to have to do the swap this winter. I want the bronco and Silverado done first
