So much character . I’d be tempted to go down the built engine route and run some stupid numbers . So much car for the money ! Did you find your car pulls decently at 280bhp with the stock turbo ?
100-200 kph times can only be shown on the OG battles. If he showed those times on these kind of reviews then that would be concrete evidence of breaking the law and we can't have that
I know this kind of setup with the big laggy turbowon't produce the best times but Christ does that look fun! Jamie's eyes look like he's just rolled out of helter skelter, don't see that every day
@@The_MostHigh I think this one could probably be better set up with a boost by gear map or similar. Something that stops that crazy boost up take. Although that would take away from the fun of it.

Haaa ha haaa, calling it a hairdresser car is what will make it angry, that’s just the roadsters! Just what I need today! Putting mine back together after dropping in an SMF conversion yesterday. This has got me excited to get it done, just the boost I Needed. Sanj makes me laugh, running 600+, spinning up all 4 and barely holding wheel. So cool. Love that the interior is absolutely stock and complete apart from the back seat, could have been filmed in my car, makes me want to get back out there.
I have a stock MK1, I can appreciate what has gone into this and also shocked how some of the standard parts have been retained for this build. Also, it’s funny to see the polar opposite facial expressions during acceleration! Great content guys..

Hahaha, i feel it :D my TT mk1 APX was dynoed with 400 whp on ethanol, and i shaved off over 200kg weight, using haldex controller and locked 50/50, on wet to moist roads, it was full wheel spin on all 4 in 1st and 2nd gear xD crazy stuff,, love that little wicked 4 banger! Very good engine.
Jamie as always an awesome feature car but you have to help us out man as I would love to see this TT go up against the owners brothers V6 golf on the airstrip drag challenge. The question is can you make It happen?
Good vid mate , interested in what AR the owner has on that turbo? A 770 would be better suited to a stroker build .... Will need to do a feature on my MK1 TT with 666bhp if you were up for it 😁

Even the stock cars had problema with the rear breaking out... Mostly on high speeds though not on acceleration... The TTs got a little spoiler has a result from factory... These cars need a diffuser underneath for good traction
I had one of these with half the power and the cars a kept up with and passed at 155 was hilarious… rs3s rs4s m3 e39 m5 newer shape xjr to mention a few… I got off the clock on half the power he’ll that must be insanely quick

Yeah i would prefer 400-500 bhp with a smaller turbo resulting in a more usable powerband, still though is a cool build with plenty of character
