I ground out the Inferno Cannon event with intent to sell the main thing, but ended up settling for the Chinese AT launcher decoration upon seeing that I had to significantly double my effort for the coupon.
It looks so goofy on my M60A3 and M247; I love it.

In any case, I just find it funny (and disappointed) how much effort gaijin puts into these events, yet the rest of the base game has largely remained stale since 2014.

@@Chase92488 no, it is 0.3 BR lower than usual Yak-3 and has slightly better flight performance due to 1 less gun. In French tree Yak-3 is present due to French using them, "Normandie-Neman".

IIRC the song played on the gramophone is "Comin' in on a Wing and a Prayer" which is cool but somehow unfitting because it's an American Song, while the theme of the event and main reward of the event is Soviet Aircraft.
It will be more fitting if it play Aviasmarch tbh.

The thing is, that in Soviet Union during WWII was quite popular russian version of this song (called "pesnya bombardirovshikov" ( "song of bomber's crew") by Utesov). So at this point, this song fits

I actually went out of my way to play the Yak event (during my finals, no less - I had some spare time). So glad I have this, along with the strobe-light from the Battle Pass, it makes the ground mode bearable.

Ohh cmon. I tryed this decoration on my tank the day the event started, and it does nothing more than the turning crank animation (even the vinyl did nothing). Now when the event is basically at the end, they changed it.
