@@jimmydesouza4375 Im not an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt. It's basically the tank's ability to keep power to both tracks while both are still moving at different speeds. Instead of the inner track completely stopping to make a turn, it just rotates slower and the excess power is diverted to the outer track to rotate it faster. This allows the tank to actually turn much more smoothly while still moving forward and retaining speed, instead of the inner track just locking up and killing the ground speed so you pivot on it.
Biggest thing to note is that NATO tanks have it, and specifically Russian tanks don't. That is the entire reason it's not in the game, even though it was present on tanks manufactured over 70 years ago lmao. They will never add something that isn't a pure unfair advantage to... a "certain nation"... as evidenced by spall liners. They have been present on Nato tanks since the Leopard 2a4 for example. Only added now because the first Russian tank that has it finally got added, so the rest of us are finally allowed to have it.

@flareamv5503 It hasn't been nerfed to shit. Sure it's not the best like the 2A7 however there is something to be said as far as whatever team Russia is on in ground typically wins. America has decent vehicles, however Russia has a very strong lineup, overpowered helicopters and the pantsir, and while America has the stronger CAS it can't do shit with the type of AA Russia has.

The reason why the top attack ATGM didn’t pen you was because it was intercepted by the friendly Black Night Challenger’s Iron Fist APS.
Black Nights APS doesnt intercept missiles unless its going to hit the Black Night itself

Most people don't play Sweden. I know a few who do and will actively say it's broken, but they're aren't enough people who play it.
The reason you see more drama around Russia and the U.S tanks/planes is because a majority of the community plays in those trees.
I guarantee if Gajin out the American tanks in proper, they'd get as much flak as the T-90M.

This is unrelated, but I think it'd be cool if they experimented with the "Hull break" mechanic again, but instead of it working like overpressure, it works differently. It would be there to prevent AA trucks or armored cars from tanking 122mm shells when hit in the engine or something because no matter how good of a mechanic you have or how ever many spare parts you got, you just ain't repairing that big of a hole in your car.
It might be a hot take but I dislike the idea of light vehicles walking off like 152-155mm AP shells so casually like they just didn't get hit at all.
What you haven't just filled that hole in your engine with flex seal or duct tape? Works like a charm. After all they say it fixes everything.
The problem is that Gajin will never add it back because they don't know how to balance the game.

They should add something like "hull break" to aircraft when getting hit by large rounds. A helicopter should not *EVER* survive a direct hit from 120mm HEAT-FS

@@worldoftancraft As mentioned above, significantly slower reverse speed on the T-90M due to possessing only a single reverse gear at 4MPH vs. 45MPH reverse speed for Abrams which enables safer peeking tactics. Carousel autoloader with ammunition stored in crew compartment of T-90M vs. separate ammunition behind blast doors on Abrams means that a penetrating hit on a T-90M is much much more likely to cause a catastrophic ammo detonation. Shorter APFSDS penetrators available that will fit the T-90M due to the autoloader vs the Abrams manual loader means reduced armor penetration potential. The lower profile on the T-90M doesn't provide much if any additional protection due to the accuracy of modern AT weapons but does serve to reduce crew comfort. The main advantages of the T90M are that it's lighter weight, cheaper, and requires one less crewman, but these matter from more of a logistics perspective. On a per-tank basis, the Abrams is superior to the T-90M in virtually every way.
You should play any of th cv90 they have good moblity and a powerful 40mm cannon along with having apfds as starting rounds plus it has he-vt

T-34E-STZ is a sleeper tank. It has increased frontal armor and will bounce panzer IV rounds when angled. With the 96 pen round really never leaves you feeling weak. Dropped a 20 kill game with it. You should definitely give it a try.

The remote MG has it's ironsights because it can be dismounted and used like the infantry version, pretty sure they store the bipod and butt stock for it somewhere in the tank like they do for coax PKTs. That F-16 kill with an apfsds was impressive. I wonder whether the main penetrator or the sabot petals hit him.
This also made me wonder that combining an apfsds round with a canister shot would be viable or not. Here I mean to replace the sabot petals with a sabot that doubles as a canister, containing metal balls.
Such a sabot canister hybrid should not degrade the performance of an apfsds penetrator much.
Real sabot open up and fall away at no more than 100m.
Real sabot also has minimized mass.
Mainly because energy not going into pushing the rod are not contributing to making enemy going boom.
The newest sabot design is not even metal anymore. Iirc, it is sort of composite mix, to minimized the weight.
The petals did cause if the main round did, it would of shown up as the main round name in the kill feed

Yes, but those are dedicated anti-personnel rounds. Similarly, the US army developed a dedicated anti-personnel canister round for the M1 Abrams.
My idea is to have an apfsds round that is optimised for anti-tank purposes, but also has a secondary close range anti-personnel effect in case of emergency. The point here is to have such a canister sabot that does not impede the performance of the main penetrator compared to the regular petal sabots.
The canister sabot does not even needs to be heavier then the petals simply because infantry are soft targets.
Even ceramic or plastic pellets would have a deadly effect with propellant quantity of an apfsds round.
The eyes thing is something dating back to the first world war, and is an insignia on one of the RTR squadrons. Supposedly it's because a Chinese(?) buisnessman financed either one of a few of a Tank Corps companies tanks but gave a notably odd request to have eyes painted on the side to ward off bad omens and spirits.

When people were mocking 'cope cages' for their inability to stop Javelins and now that they actually have a use, blocking drone-dropped grenades/bomblets, the name became somewhat silly.
And then the FPV drones showed up, and they're getting worse, saw a Russian tank get evaporated by its ammo rack + the drone payload.
So instead of being a cope for not being able to stop top-attack ATGMs, they're now a cope for not having functional EW to stop cheap Chinese drones? IDK still seems like they're coping to me.
The "cage" part of the "cope cage" is the critical element. Many improvised covers shown early in the war were slapped right above key hatches and blocking already limited visibility. Soldiers wised up on this - now they are equally dirt cheap and slapdash, but spaced so far away from the tank it's more like a cope tent than a cope cage, making the vehicle visible from a mile away. The new type are the ones you see getting hit by drones the most since the loss in discretion far outweighs any gain in protection.

Recently, I researched the Conway. It is the one tank I have played that at stock was very good, barring lack of spare parts of course. Can you take a look at the British 7.0 Conway? You get a 400mm++ pen gun with good hesh to boot. The turret armors make it surprisingly survivable as well.

From what I've noticed blast doors work ONLY if you penetrate them, like if you shoot abrams ammo from a side without piercing blast doors tank will explode but when you pierce blast doors and damage ammo from the front of the turret only ammo dissapears nothing more happens XD

People seem to forget it isn't a super high BR to have stupidly strong missiles but honestly it doesn't need them to do well even in an uptier. You should try the AML-90, it's very underrated as a gremlin tank, I've gotten some of my highest kill counts with that thing. Just flank, scout, and blap.

The main issue with top tier imo, and the reason it so quickly devolves into spawn camping is that gaijin refuses to give us maps bigger than 2km by 2km. They have them, they just refuse to put them into rotation, and they constantly take out any bump that even hints at taking long range shots.
Bro, today i got one of the sand maps(Tunisia i think) but a beefed up version, for all of my 7 years playing i have never seen that big of a version of that exact map, i got one 2.4 and two 2.8km kills and it was fucking amazing , told the boys in chat how much i liked big maps for top tier but many of em said the complete opposite, idk why people are like this....

The Leclerc gets one IRL, but not in the game. The Leclerc has a 5.0 second reload IRL, but a 6.0 second reload in War Thunder. In War Thunder, you can barely survive a shot in the Leclerc, when IRL it's one of the most armoured and survivable tanks. And the S1 and S2 don't get stock APFSDS, and are at this tank's BR. Can someone please explain to me how this is fair?
So the ‘Chinese Eye’ you see on that Challenger is actually a battle honour that was awarded to the Royal Tank Regiment. So yes, specifically the Royal Tank Regiment wear this as a battle honour on their Challengers.

Hey spookston, i got the SAV 20.12.48 in my first and only winter crate, adn after playing it a bit i realized that the mayority of the kills i qas getting were by overpressuring the enemies with the APHE round, this includes heavies and all kind of cuestionable kills, and i thought maybe you could go with it for a ride?

No CR1 were destroyed in Operation Desert Storm but one CR2 was destroyed in an friendly fire incident in Irag in 2003, other then that incident only one CR2 has been lost due enemy attack since it's deployment in 98.

The only problem I have with the T-90 M is that it proves that Gaijin has a conformation bias. The T-90 M gets the complete spall liners but the Leo 2a7V gets shafted.
Edit: wow people were really quick to call me a german main or completely ignore my criticism. I know that the leo2a7v is great in game, but I hate how Gaijin implements western tanks and Russian tanks. Western tanks always seem to be wrong (The leo2a7v uses the wrong armor) but Russian tanks seem artificially buffed.
Russian bias does exist but how the fuck did the 2a7 get shafted? Its easily the best mbt in the game.
I wouldn't say the Leo gets shafted. Between it and the Strv 122B+, they're the best pair of MBTs in the game.
I'd honestly go as far as to say they are the best by some margin, too.

bradleys can destroy an abrams... and pretty much all existing tanks. The fact that it got ambushed by a side by two bradleys and it didnt have any support and got destroyed tells nothing about the quality of a tank. Stop hating russia for on reaosn
@@KolyaUrtz He isnt hating on Russia for no reason lol? are you a child? are Russians really this sensitive? Bradleys can only destroys abrams if they get a lucky hit with an ATGM. That t-90M got taken out by Bradleys just using there auto-canons which shouldn't even penetrate t-90M armour.

sure Bradley 25mm can disable all tanks irl but somehow T-90 or other Russian tanks *most times* not even damaged after hit by top attack missile in-game, let alone 25mm autocannon
