- I know I mentioned this in our initial look at the XBOX Elite V2 Controller and I think this still rings true, myself as well as all the other reviewers taking first impressions and performance reviews on this product couldn't truly speak for the durability and lifespan of the V2. Thank you all for the comments and feedback in the previous review. Due to the sheer volume of negative feedback and customer input in our comments section of the product I felt that is was only right to spread the word on the issue and help make Microsoft be aware of the persistent challenges that are inhibiting the enjoyment of their customers experiences.

Ppl complaining about their issues meanwhile I can’t find a single place in stock
Just bought another from gamestop online a few days ago. My first one is still going strong just wanted another
I just walked through a Walmart on a whim about 2 hours away from me. They had one controller in their display case, and it was an elite. It wasn't even on their website. You better believe I bought it.
I've found them on (smaller site like eb games, the source) but if you don't care about warrenty and want one asap try second hand off kijiji or Craigslist and verify controlls work good before buyjng
They have them, if you wanna pay $260 for it.
I plugged in a site that does custom elite 2s up above 3 days ago but he might be out by now.....just a sec

Had mine for 4 months now, it was failing after the second month, rb and lb either don’t work or double click, right stick drift, bottom 2 back paddles are very unresponsive... It was really good, while it lasted.

Me and my brother bought 2 core controllers at the same time, his came out of the box with mad stick drift and my bumpers went out after 2 months aswell as getting stick drift, not to mention one of the paddle buttons doesn’t click anymore…
I’ve had my elite 2 since launch and I haven’t had any issues, I play everyday with a minimum of 2 hours or more daily. No issues or drift.
Is there stick drift on 5 deadzone in fortnite ?
Equinox LF I don’t play fortnite, so I couldn’t tell you on that. I mainly play call of duty and warzone, no issues with that game.

My controller keeps “disconnecting” often, it has a full battery charge. Pretty annoying. $200 for a “Elite” controller while a $60 basic controller works a million times better.
When they inevitably release a series 3 they better have learned their lessons. Cause its just ridiculous considering the price tag and how many people have issues. With the large amount of problems customers are having, youd think there would be a recall.
The only good part is the paddles and replaceable parts

Just purchased mine from Best Buy (Christmas) I can say that I do love the Elite 2, however, I am concerned about input lag on A button (which is actually why I searched for information online for any issues and ran across this video). Very helpful information.
first elite v1 has RB and LB issues. Was excited to try the Elite v2 hoping they fixed the issues. I absolutely love the V2 the feel and customization options but here i am looking to buy another one because of excessive stick drift.

Had my first elite controller for over 3 years with no issues. The V2 has been doing perfect for me so far. Odd that so many are having issues.

just got one 2 months ago and developed some left analog stick drift, cleaned with some rubbing alcohol and its good to go! Regular cleaning of these controllers is very important

G'day, I've had mine two months and now I've got left stick drift.
You have to clean it with alcohol and a q tip get in every crease and clean everything in the whole area
Controllers can collect dust and get heavy amounts of oil and grease you have to clean the thumbs ticks and the whole surrounding of it every once and a while
@@kevingrus3297 A couple of days ago I started to experience left stick drift, it started out of nowhere but I thought is was me. I tried alcohol and q-tip and nothing changed. I have had my controller for 7 months now and I am not sure if the component that controls the y axis broke or I got some dirt in it. Repairs for this problem are upwards of 80$ and I dont want to spend that money or open up my controller (little experience in that area). If you an give me any other tips it would be appreiciated.
My warranty is expired so I don't know what to do.
mine lasted 2 weeks before the left joystick stopped registering and they couldn't even find my serial but it was new enough to return and rebuy
2021, been through at least 6 of them. I'm convinced they are doing this on purpose. I've searched reddit, youtube, google.. it doesn't matter, the EXACT same issues. The new issue i'm facing this year though is left analog not clicking down and A not registering.

In not doing this for attention, I'm being 100% honest, I have gone through 4 repairs all due to the same problem, double pressing bumpers, it's gotten to the point where the controller has spent more time in repair, than in my possession, it is truly mind boggling how such a rich and wealthy corporation has cheeped out on a product based around the premise of buying a controller hat is not cheap for better performance, defeating the purpose of the product itself, with it's main selling point being the quality as compared to a standard controller, which is truly mind boggling as the standard controller is undeniably more durable , there is no reason as to why a controller that costs 200 dollars is inherently less durable and less reliable as compared to a standard 50 dollar controller, it's a joke.
Same the bumpers are so cheap, i had problems with the RT and LT and i cannot even click it i need to have pressure just to Click RT and LT and its hard as a rock, i bought it 12 days ago and uts broken.
UPDATE. I shit you not got the controller back 4 days ago and it is already broken guess I have to ship it back and wait another month and a half for the controller, which I GUARANTEE will break in less than a week just to repeat the process over again. I know these controllers have a majority of young customers that are super anxious to get their hands on these controllers, but I urge you to wait for an official statement from Microsoft regarding these controller before buying one, I promise you will get little to no playtime if you do otherwise.

I got mine since the release day, and I always take care of my gaming equipment, so the V2 I pre-ordered has held up perfectly fine until about a month ago. I had slight drift on my L. Stick, which I could deal with, but then a couple weeks later my R. Bumper started to gradually get harder and harder to press and finally register, bringing me to last night looking up how to tear it apart, safely and with Xbox tools, and figuring out what the actual problem is. There's a "box" the R. Bumpers hit when pressed on a white circular panel. Inside that is where the wiring is either touching each other - hence the double action - or is loose which caused my case because I use it a lot for reloading, yet I couldn't to save my life. So now, I might be going back to my V1 because I never had a problem with it. The hell is up with Microsoft making crap electronics that are supposed to be, y'know, ELITE?!

My LB and Rn haven’t registered for almost 6 months and now I just switched the button mapping to the paddles for LB and RB. Was much better till I upgraded to a series x now my buttons will randomly go off including the button mapping button in the middle so that’s a thing. Had it for almost 2 years now
Just got one and wow, not good. Now first, question: When people say "stick drift," are they meaning you hit the stick to turn your view and it just...keeps turning? Like signal lag? If so, that is what this one is doing. Also, it sometimes does what you want, as far as with the buttons, jump, shoot, change weapons, whatever...then other times, it just seems to not be communicating with my PC and doesn't react, at all. I thought it was some kind of calibration issue but after seeing this, not sure it is.
Mine held up pretty good. After about a year and a half, maybe 2 years the LB and RB activator switches started to go and I had to replace the components. My p2 isn't as sensitive as of recently, have to press a bit harder for it to activate.
I’ve had my controller for a few months now but I’ve had issues out of the box. I have it registered but I’m not going to ask for a replacement until I can confirm that the problem has been fixed, it’s a waste of time and money to do it now. The issues I’ve been experiencing would be that the LB and RB double clicks at times, X A B or Y would not be registered at times and drifting on both sticks. I also have a feeling that the control sometimes gets overwhelmed when pressing too many buttons and that’s when double pressing A or another action goes undetected. Other than that the quality is perfect and the overall feel of this controller is amazing.
Got mine today. So far working 100%. I am hopeful it will stay with me forever 😁

My younger brother got his for Christmas, and only a couple months later the rn and lb buttons sometimes don’t register at all. I can’t believe these problems haven’t been fixed already
I got one today. I knew it about the issue(s) it had but still decided to give it a shot, I just could not find any alternative that was much appealing. Fingers crossed, I hope it will not have any issues.
And how it went?
Got the controller at release and was loving it! Up until last week when one of the trigger toggles fell off and what I thought was a solid plastic toggle was just a rubber tip.
Took it in for a replacement, 2 days with the replacement and the Xbox logo light turned red, never seen or heard of that happening before. No onto my 3rd controller, no issues so far (touch wood).
Had a v1 day 1 of availability no issues, got my v2 day 1 of availability no issues. Hope they sort stuff out for everyone
You know, I was so close to getting an Elite V2. I had it ordered from Best Buy, the website said 1 in stock, so I waited for the "Your order is ready to be picked up." email. Never got that email, instead I got the "This item is not actually stock, so your order is canceled" email. So, I started looking at the alternatives, and settled with the Razer Wolverine Ultimate. It seems I may have dodged a bullet there. Still bought the GSP from Best Buy just to be safe, though.
I've had my v2 controller for less than half a year and now when I press forward on the left stick the character in the game doesn't walk, run or sometimes moves slower than a walk. Right out of the box I had Bluetooth issues to where it would half ass work if at all.
I've had my controller since early January, and I've only started having issues with the right bumper not responding as much unless I use more pressure. I can temporarily fix it by holding down the trigger and blowing under the bumper. I have no issues with any of the face buttons because I use all four paddles. Only time I use buttons is for fighting games (which I don't usually play).
Edit: Found out my warranty was still up; sent my controller in for either a replacement or refurbish. It arrived at Microsoft today. I'll make an update in around 10 days.
EVERY SINGLE CONTROLLER I have ever had by Microsoft has had the right bumper die. Every single time... I was considering an Elite but now I'm going with Scuf.. They just got purchased by Corsair so I expect big quality boosts. The only issue I've see with those is the little spacer pad on the face plates likes to move and cause stick sticking. Easy fix... I also think the modular design might last longer. Broken button? You can replace it! Not so much with this thing...

I got mine on pre-order and it was amazing... until about a week ago. Now it disconnects every 15-20mins out of nowhere. It’s very annoying especially when I’m in a sports game where disconnecting is the difference between winning and losing. Sucks because I loved this controller so much. Everything about it’s design is perfect. I guess I’m such a fan boy that I’ll probably just go buy a new one eventually.. I’m a sucker for punishment apparently.
My second V2 to have the RB register clicks maybe 30% to 40% of the time. It's such a drag because it is by far the best controller I've ever used when it works.
Got my series 2 last Chrissy, so have only had it for 3-4months. Am already seeing double input with the right bumper (RB)!
I’ve had mine since Christmas 2019, about a month ago I started having problems with RB not registering every time I pressed it. It has continued to get worse over time, and it’s gotten to the point where it only registers less than 50% of the time (even while I’m making the conscience effort to press it more firmly). Occasionally when it does register, it double clicks. I’ve also had a problem for a very long time with the sticks failing to center while I’m not touching them. This has caused stick drift for any dead zone under 14%. I did some research online and found if you push your trigger all the way down (with the trigger stoppers off) you can blow into the opening at the top to help the bumper register. It does a decent job at helping the problem, but you need to blow excessively hard into the opening for it to make any difference, and it only helps for about 30 minutes until it starts getting bad again.
Have you tried taking the controller apart yourself and cleaning the bumpers out with alcohol or nail polish remover? Several people say this works for the bumper issues and stick drift issues.
that's exactly what's happening with mine
blazed v2 in the little guide in the packaging with all the fine print it says that there is a 1 year warranty for the controller excluding problems like “normal wear and tear” and liquid or impact damage. I’m trying to see if I can get a replacement or a repair through the warranty.

Hey I got my XBOX ELITE 2 controller after the holidays since it was always sold out everywhere. I now have it about 3mths with no noticeable issues so far but that can change. Will keep you posted on if that continues good video.

my A paddle hasn't worked well since out of box, it has no tactile feedback compared to the other 3. but i drove a long way to get this so taking it back to the shop was a pain, now i've had it for a few years, i've just put up with it and will buy local if a 3 comes out
I got mine in person from the source, really great up until now with my RB button kinda stopped registering soft touches. And when I blow air in it, magically works like if I removed it out the box for the first time
works flawlessly I use it for my home console and when im away gaming on my phone no problems at all Xcloud

Got my first Elite Series 2 December 8th 2020 as a gift, it was freshh out of the box when I got it... Didn't have problems until Febuary 2021. Stopped using it for months because of the left stick drift. Recently went back to it because I was tired of changing batteries and I was tired of Chargers frying out. Just started re-using this controller again last week and now three more problems have popped up from playing casual game play. Problems: Right bumper doesn't respond unless I press hard enough. Left Stick drifts, Left trigger sticks (auto responds) when I mess with the tiggers sesitivity button on the bottom. Was able to fix the left stick drift by using Rubbing alcohol on Q-Tips and cleaning off the left analog sticks sensors (When I test the left stick in accessory with the shelling off the stick works fine, when I put the shelling back on the stick begins to drift again). Then I was able to temporarly fix the right bumper by using WD40 on the internal button (it is messing up again, I have to frequently spray it/clean it) 4th time taking my controller apart to fix the bumper. As of writing this comment I am looking for a way to fix the left trigger sticking. Hopfully Microsoft fixes these problems in V3. The controller felt great the 3 months it was working fine.
I just got mine and A, Y buttons and paddle are missing inputs, sending it back tomorrow.
I've had mine a month after its release (so almost a year ago) and I'm getting at least 95% of these problems. I'm having the rb double click 50% of the time, a button doesnt work sometimes, and have been getting stick drift recently. I'm not sure if it's how it was made or there needs to be a update to fix these problems, but I hope i can get it fixed. Other than those problems it's a really good quality controller.

Had the series 2 for a month or two and the only problem I’ve had is that the d-pad is slanted down towards the right side so sometimes it will double click. And there’s an inch of dead space before it makes contact and clicks the button. Also the metal d-pads don’t fit perfect as I can shift it side to side and up and down.
I just bought one to give all of these problems some time to be fixed on, should be here in a few days... Let’s see how it’s doing

I’ve had it for a few months now and there is stick drift on the left stick and it sometimes disconnects mid game... love the controller though I love the back paddles! Just wish they could come out with a new one with no problems

This has been my third replacement in a row with inconsistent A presses, especially when pressing from the bottom left side. I'm convinced anyone who hasn't had this issue just hasn't noticed it yet or doesn't play any games like platformers that rely on tightly timed A button presses.

I bought a core V2 about a month ago, seriously worked great for the month I had it and it is by far my favorite controller, but out of nowhere one day the battery died and I tried multiple chargers and none of them will charge it, out of all the problems I hear about with the controller I had one I’ve never thought I would’ve
On my second ES2, first one had Stick drift where it wouldn't fully return to neutral input after letting go of the stick...
Second one has had issues with Left Analog Stick drifting in the same way AND right bumper not registering....
I made the decision to void the warrantee and open it up to see what maintenance I could provide, the bumper issue i seemed to be able to resolve by removing and resetting a small white plastic piece that goes in between the bumper and the actual button it presses inside the controller, haven't had any issue with the right bumper since.
As for the Stick, as ridiculous as this might sound, I literally blew into the space behind the stick after opening it up like an old N64 cartridge and the drift disappears, at least for a little bit. So I would hazard a guess and say it probably has to do with something getting inside, be it dust/dirt/etc.
Other than those issues I absolutely LOVE this controller, it has a comfortable weight, the extra features such as the paddles, adjustable tension on the sticks, and button layout presets I couldn't go without, the case is awesome with the controllers built in battery case's charging dock.

Had mine for around a month now. I've occasionally had connection issues and occasionally I've had couple of second long framedrops (might as well be freeze, talking 1-5 fps here) during Halo MCC (i play on Windows 10) which I suspect is due to the bluetooth connection issues tho I can't say for sure. Those problems are quite rare tho and I'm mostly happy (tho I think somerthing this expensive ought to be more robust).
One problem that I have that is consistent is that whenever I connect it to USB (which I have to do to configure it in Windows 10) it never manages to connect to it again unless I unpair and pair it again, which is kinda annoying (tho I configure rarely).
I still *love* this controller tho. I have a slight disability in my right thumb which makes most typical controllers quite painful to use, the adaptions this one allows (the paddles in particular) allows me to play games with much less pain that I had before so for me it serves more of a “adaptive controller” function than a pro gamer function.
I really hope Microsoft manages to fix the issues tho, as it's otherwise a really great controller.
Elite V2. Both sticks wouldn't click anymore after 3 months. The replacement controllers left stick started either not responding or responding with a delay after 1 month. One of the reasons I watched the video was to see how common it is. I still have half my warranty at least. Wishing I got an extended warranty about now.
I feel like the right thumbstick has built in dead zone making my aim floaty for a lack of better terms. Sometimes the right joystick won’t look around randomly. I feel like the adjustable thumbstick tension is why I’m having these issues
Bought in the middle of april and three days ago the left joystick controller has become useless: if you move it to the right or to le left or up or down it stays on the right or to the left or up or down.
He works only when I press and move it.

My B paddle is some how double binded with Y as well. Playing Apex, holding B paddle to crouch also put weapons away, so trying to heal and crouch will also cancel heals.
When a controller is this complex there is so many moving parts (even for just a single button). Not really surprised about the higher failure rates. Hope they release a version with the paddles but without all the other bells and whiles.
They have THE best paddles out of all the pro controllers hands down. I can live without the thumb sticks being changed out and the grips easy.
Corbin Warren true I like it when the paddles are almost hugging the controller similar to how the strikepack does it... just ordered my Astro c40 and I’ve heard those are the most natural feeling so I’m excited to find out
Correction: It has *fewer* moving parts than their regular controllers, once half the buttons get stuck, and the bumpers fall off.
Zak Butz how is your Astro holding up? That’s the only pro controller I’m considering buying. As I’ve heard nothing but good reviews on that.
Skyler Dutton not even gonna lie taking that thing out of the box and holding it in your hands feels like sex. It’s fucking awesome. And the back paddles are beyond incredible it feels incredibly natural and not even gonna lie I think it was a little bit of placebo but I genuinely felt like I was better the players I was going up against. The only issue I’ve had with it is that the bumpers are a bit bulky and can sometimes be hard to register/click if you’re trying to make quick plays in games like Fortnite that heavily rely on utilizing the bumpers. Not really enough to keep me from buying but it’s worth noting. The only other issue I’ve had is the stick drift especially if you play with a low deadzone and even despite resetting the controller the issue is still there. It’s not anything major but I just like to play on very low deadzones so I noticed it right away. And the stick drift doesn’t really effect gameplay terribly as it only occurred when I would make very tiny micro adjustments. If I’m being honest I would be very happy paying like 175 for the product but I have no regrets. Shit is still amazing lol

I just had to return mine because the ‘Y’ button wouldnt be registering every time I pressed it. How the hell can Microsoft charge $250 AUD and it have all these issues yet their standard controller has literally 0 issues... like c’mon.
Benny95 it’s called quality control. Standard controller has the same issues.
That’s what comes with in such a techno savvy world. They need to slow down on all the accessories and focus more on comfortable paddle that work and are durable as well aw quality thumb sticks that can last longer than a couple months. I personally recommend Sony back button attachment if you’re on PS4 and strike pack of on Xbox
I have the same problem. I have to press harder on Y than any other button sometimes. Also, my left stick is stuck in. When I click it, it doesn't make the same noise and feel as the right stick. But that's because Modern Warfare has tactical sprint, and I use it alot. The RB button also presses twice for me

I got the series 2 when it was launched and i use it almost every day since then.Two days ago out of the blue the right trigger started to get sticky when i apply little force to it and after it goes smoothly down all the way.
It feels like there is some kind of glue stickiness going on when i press it down,very frustrating.

Shoot I blamed the missus thinking she'd used it with sticky fingers! I had the exact same problem same trigger even! And yes I just told her and apologised to her oops!
While this is an “old” video, I bought one of these controllers on Friday. Within 1 hour the A and X buttons stopped working. I was able to verify that the controller continually “presses” these inputs even if they were not being pressed by trying to calibrate the controller. Quality control still seems to be an issue.
It’s a shame, for the 1 hour it worked it was the best feeling controller I’ve ever had.
I bought mine a couple days ago and when I move my joystick my character doesn’t stop moving after I release it until I press on it again
Bought yesterday mine is going haywire today. Definitely a quality control issue. Taking it back tomorrow...
Just bought one a few months ago and loving it. Hope i don’t get stick drift, but if i do best buy will replace it.

@@WillFuI my left and right top bumpers won’t register sometimes, and my controller has insane drift, and it used to shut itself off on itself when I held down the right joystick

I am on my second replacement... my left analog stick keeps going out. I only had this controller for 3 months. I paid so much money for this controller but the quality does not match!

Got mine 31 Aug 2022 from Best Buy: stick drift out of box, in COD CW fires weapon when swapping guns (old weapon fires once before new weapon shouldered). Gonna exchange tomorrow.
I have had the elite series 2 for almost a year now and if I don’t use the controller for maybe just a day or 2 the left and right trigger feel sticky but usually goes away the more I use it. I have stick drift it’s not drastic but its there sometimes. Both sticks seems to be very loose when lightly touching it and doesn’t seem firm like how a regular Xbox controller is. I also bought this from Best Buy so that may be a reason. But other than that there’s no huge problems with my controller. I can play whatever I want just fine. Maybe just cause I’m used to the controller or maybe not I’m not sure.

bought a new one a little while back and right analog stick has an excessive amount of resistance in the bottom and left positions and sticks in those positions as well. Came that way straight out the box... However, everything else worked great.
Had mine for 4 months and LB and RB button is on the verge of completely not working. Only way I can play with it now is by reconfiguring those buttons to the back paddles and feels like I’m trying to learn new controls on a brand new game every time I play to get use to this switch
I thought I was the only one that had those problems, but with the Xbox elite v2 and Astro C40, I had the same issues with double inputs of buttons and horrible stick drift. For me after a while, I stopped replacing then and bought an elite v1, it works better and I haven't had a problem

XC214 seems kinda risky to me, doubt they would let u return something if u already naught it refurbished. Apparently Microsoft is making a new batch of elite v2’s that are fixed. I think I’m gonna wait it out

Have you tried taking the controller apart yourself and cleaning the controller out with alcohol or nail polish remover? Several people say this works for the bumper issues and stick drift issues.
Got one three months ago. This week I've gotten double presses with both bumpers, left stick drift, A and B not working, and now the light doesn't even work properly.
I literally just ordered a scuf prestige controller yesterday because my left stick drift is getting so bad its hard to select things in the menus of Outriders. I have a Elite v2, it was purchased mid September.
Had the V2 on release date, had left stick delay input and no clicky clicky when you pressed the left stick. Had to literally mash it just to get the hold breath input on COD. Sold it because I made a custom V1 with one S faceplate. Only thing I can say I truly miss about it is the internal battery with charge dock and the mini paddles

Hey man I have this RB double input issue and I play Apex a ton so I get allot of fake signals to my teammates, I have the extended through GameStop but obviously we are in lockdown. My question is should I call Microsoft for a new controller or wait this out?

@JPro x for me I have the double RB input, this is annoying but the gameplay I get from the paddles and customized feel outways that annoyance. I will be sending my back one day because I got the warranty.

Just got mine today. Right out of the box right analog drift and the controller keeps disconnecting during game. But the controller felt so amazing and premium. It is a return for me
3 owners of elite series 2 pads in my house, 1st pad replaced once, never had any other issues since with any of the controllers very good controller !!

@@904StreetRats sorry to hear that. I got mine around the time I made that comment. Dropped it twice on hard wood and once on tile and its perfectly fine. You can contact support for a replacement or refund if its broken out of the box
@@904StreetRats i have some issues once in a while, like when I let go of the sticks it keeps moving but it lasts for 2 seconds and fixes itself immediately, and it does not happen often at all.
After my 3rd replacement for the V1, I ended up buying a Scuff Infinity. Still working still after the release of V2. I play a 💩 load of COD 😎🥃
I have had my elite v2 for almost a year and my RB double inputs and my right stick began to unthread on the inside(which was a easy fix), but shouldn’t have had to fix anything for the price you pay! Right now it is having connectivity issues. Comes on and immediately goes back off even when connected with a wire.

I just got a replacement Elite 2 in the mail today. First off, kudos to Microsoft for an incredibly smooth process for receiving the replacement. Took just a week, and that included delivery from the US to Canada (where I live). In terms of this controller, I just want to say that I truly think it's the singular best choice for gaming on an Xbox. For even the one week it took to get a replacement, I deeply missed my Elite 2 and actually felt odd going back to the original Xbox One controller. The reason I sent mine in for replacement was because the left bumper almost entirely stopped working, only registering a press every several clicks. Beyond that, though, the experience has been incredibly smooth and enjoyable. Even though I had an issue with mine, I have recommended, and continue to recommend, this to my friends, family, and anyone else willing to listen. This is a crowning achievement by Microsoft, and is their best controller to date. Don't let reports of mechanical issues deter you: it's expensive, but worth the money, and with Microsoft's latest warranty extension to a year, you're covered if something does go wrong.

I recently purchased my v2 elite because of the amazing experience I had with the first one but bluetooth connectivity issues with my PC are driving me crazy. I could saved money and bought a wired controller if that's what I wanted. It's supposed to be wireless!!!! So regret spending all this money
I’ve had the xbox elite series 2 for about a year now I don’t really play much hardcore games and after about 6 months I started getting connectivity issued
2 and a half weeks in with my elite v2 and it’s actually great, no problems at all ,maybe the right stick drift where it’ll stay like 3% to the left but all my other controllers do that as well.
I’ve had the elite 1 for over 2 years now and its all perfect, sad to hear this v2 camed out with all these problems

@@MoAliRiyaz the elite v1 is not bluetooth. the standard xbox one S controller is bluetooth though.

elite 1 came out with all other issues and yours is awsome so im guessing its same thing. some people have bad luck and some have good. im very agressive with controllers especially if playing football so guess that is something i had better be careful off.
@@MoAliRiyaz i went elite 2 because its got bluetooth built in. with elite one you have to buy a dongle and i dont believe in dongle life.
My xbox plain controller works with bluetooth ansd is seem less wioth pc, its that good, im always hoping from pc to xbox s. but i now own a elite 2 and it doesnt work seemlessly with my pc. yes itll pair no problem but try going from pc to xbox and back results in me haveing to physacly unpair the device from pc, repair it and then hey its their. so basicly my xbox one s controllers two of them work flawlessly with switching pc to xbox to pc to yeh you got it but elite two controller is like the dualshock ps4 controller its hit and miss but remember on pc just go to blue tooth setting remove controller then repair and all is good. it really shouldnt be doing that but maybe its one of my 4 blue tooth dongles on pc that are the issue and not the controller. ill know in 2021 as i will build a modern pc with built in blutooth on motherboard or a bloody good pci express card. nope i only have one blu tooth dongle installed at any time and apart from testing them all its been same one.
I’ve had mine since early January and it still works perfectly. However I don’t play that much as I used to (maybe 5 hours a week) and a mysterious bump as appeared on the back of my left trigger, but other than that it’s an amazing controller.

this video made me feel better i would say im glad im not the only one dealing with all those issues but im not glad no one should have to pay 180 dollars to get something way way way way worse than a 20 dollar controller like honestly my controller is like completely broke rn like its on but its off and i cant do anything with it at all and my left stick was having really bad stick drift and like when i was pulling it back then pushed it forward it wouldnt let me walk forward or nothing and my rb button would never work and it dose the double input sometimes too and also right before it completely broke my lb was starting to do the same thing i requested a replacement hopefully if i get it that one wont break like this one cause like im only 15 and like i finally got a job and paid with my own money to buy it so that makes it even more annoying that it broke
A button didn’t register 50% of the time out of the box. This issue resolved itself over time (somehow). But now a few months in, RB double-inputs most of the time. And worst of all, every time it is plugged into the console, it says it needs an update. Every single time.
I had to return mine since clicking my left stick wasn’t working unless I double clicked it. Also my second one is now having stuck button issues with the top two paddles

I’ve had mine for a few months and it’s definitely my favorite controller however.... It disconnectes almost daily when I am mid match even if it’s plugged as well as the A button double clicking, the stick drift on both sticks is also disgusting. Good luck if you purchase one
the bluetooth connectivity most likely got damaged in some way. either way, you should contact microsfot for help with connection issues.

Thank you... just bought a gaming PC, FS2020 and an Elite 2 controller ($260Au for the Elite 2 from memory, but a beautifully executed device, compared to say a pair of AirPods Pro which cost much more!). I was a bit of a power user of MSFS since Version 2 in circa 1990 through '98, 2000, 2002, 2004, using a Logitech Force Feedback joystick for the last several years of flight time... approached two thousand hours of logged 747 flight (KaiTak being a favourite). However, setting up, learning and using this Elite 2 with FS2020 is a nightmare... I'm pretty much lost. Have also noted difficulty with left joystick drift and centering in a calibration program. Maybe an eBay sale is the easiest way forward for me?
I’ve had my controller for almost half a year, it was breaking after 2 months. Wasn’t very major, just the triggers making a really loud noise. Then more recently my bumpers would start to either double input or just not respond at all. As of 20 minutes ago, the controller has entirely stopped working.

The right bumper on mins has completely stopped working today. No big deal I thought, I'll just remap it to one of the paddles, as I was only using two. No dice, the top small paddles barely work, because of the shape of the controller, and I guess the actually bottom that gets clicked is slightly lower than it should be, so I can only really use 2 paddles

Got on release day and I am on my third one all having the same problems, the Y button has to be double clicked twice to register , and the RT will stick occasionally and then fix itself. Super disappointed being that it’s a pretty penny and now my warranty is up with a half broken controller

Bought mine in Sept 2020. I'd say heavy use - about 20-30 hours a week. All good until yesterday left stick started sticking making moving around the map very sloppy and not very comfortable.
Any idea about cleaning these with contact cleaner? Can these even be disassembled?
Mine started off great, super happy with it but not even 2 weeks later!!.......Stick Drift. Now a month out I can even use the controller do to a button being stuck, just keeps going to the right. I'm back to using the 1st elite control.
