Heros follow rules they are not free enough. Being a pirate gives u the freedom to choose what u want Luffy transcend a hero he does heroic deeds but he ain’t confined to their rules he is above that and he is free
I think that's the distinction between wanting to be a hero... and actually being one. Luffy is by nature heroic - and following the path of a classic hero's journey. He's willingly taking on the burden of liberating and helping others. Luffy doesn't want to be praised or championed as a hero, but he nevertheless does heroic things. Personally, I think his not wanting to receive such praise is one of the very qualities which makes Luffy a classical hero.
@@StrawHatJedi He does do heroic deeds but also frees criminals from impel down a hero wouldn’t free known criminals to the sea that’s the difference Luffy is not confined to the rules of heroes
I disagree with your assessment of Luffy. Luffy wanted Wano to be full of food specifically because he didn't want TAMA to starve. That whole chapter was about him repaying a favor to TAMA. He wasn't doing it to feed everyone. Luffy cares specifically about HIS people.
No thats pretty normal. The most important pieces are cut out from videos that are too long and otherwise wouldn't get noticed if he didn't isolate them.
U need more views man fr

Glad to see a Jungian analysis of the series, I don't think I've ever seen a proper one.
