Well THANK YOU for showing us how to clean this exact Primo dispenser! I am appreciative of your simple, easy to follow instructions and of your time to make the video! ☺
I do not know how to remove the nozzles. I haven't looked. The cleaning process says that the bleach water is enough to flush and clean the nozzles. On one cleaning I poked a qtip up the nozzle but didn't see anything removed. Thanks.
I cleaned two different models of Primo dispensers. I am not sure if other models or MFRs have a different approach. Most will publish the cleaning approach in the manual or web site.
I'm sorry I'm late. What you see is that your water has become hard water. Your water is calcium dense. Which means that over the course of using your dispenser, there has been a calcium buildup. This isn't a bad thing. You can still drink it. Personally, I find it very hard to get rid of this, and it usually happens to people who either haven't cleaned it or have been using their dispenser for a long time.
I found that the ice cube in the reservoir needs to be melted completely before cleaning. The ice will hold the vinegar and the water will taste like vinegar.
In my water dispenser, compressed refrigerant is cooled and passes through coil that touches the water and cools it. The container stores the cold water.

You're welcome!
This was the best and easiest to see and understand video instruction that I have found. Thank you so much for doing this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was well videoed and explained! Glad I found it on TH-cam! Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Best no nonsense, quick guide. But best advise to me was at 6:20ish about winding the water tube to lessen vibration noise. 🤣 No, really. Thanks!!!
You are welcome.
Thank you for this!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you! You know how to remove the nozzles to clean them inside?

Thank you for your easy to understand video . All the water running wanted me to go pee though 😂
Funny.
We just bought ours and we used it and we started noticing floaty bacteria in the water. So we just tried this to see if that helps.
Thank you bro 🤟🙏
No problem 👍
Ive tried rinising mine like 3 times now and the water coming out still tastes like bleach 🥲 what do i doooo
Did you use concentrated bleach? If so, you need to fully rinse more.
Can this cleaning method be for any water dispenser? Not just for this model? Thanks again! I plan on cleaning mine as I’ve never done it!

@@DrBDIY It worked like a charm on my Frigidare stand-alone 3-button cooler/dispenser (Cold/Hot/Room Temp)
Does this work for the top loaders too??
Each MFR / Model may be different. They should have cleaning instructions in the manual.
Thank you for this step by step.
Do you taste some vinegar after the new water is in?
No vinegar taste. Rinse it well.
@@DrBDIY thank you
I’ve done this but I keep seeing white stuff floating in my water. What could this be? Some kind of looks like a film.

@@kingfloyd0001 if I clean it again will it maybe go away?
Thank you
You bet.
How often do you do that? And how did you take the drain cover off the bottom when you overfill your glass .? Thank you, sir 👍
I clean the unit once per year. The drain cover just sits in a groove so I just push a corner and it comes out.
I found that the ice cube in the reservoir needs to be melted completely before cleaning. The ice will hold the vinegar and the water will taste like vinegar.
Ice cube?
@DrBDIY There is a container inside of the machine that holds the water inside with a giant ice cube. That's how you get cold water.
In my water dispenser, compressed refrigerant is cooled and
passes through coil that touches the water and cools it. The container stores the cold water.
Do they have filters
No filters.
