How much do you get your filled gallons for? We drink a ton of bottled water as well so trying to compare costs. Also, we are very picky with how the water tastes. We only drink certain brands because of taste. I know you said you were bottle drinkers before :) what brand did ya’ll drink before and how does that compare the the taste of the 5 gallon ? I used to get water from sparklett and their invoices said primo . I don’t know if it’s the same company or one bought the other but their water tastes good .like you can drink it even when you’re not thirsty. You can purchase sparklett bottled water from some grocery stores try , their 5 gallons tastes the same.
Have you had problems with water spilling everywhere when you first insert the straw cap into the jug on a new jug? Mine have all been filled to the brim the when the straw cap is inserted, the jug then starts to overflow..
first the door would not close so we had to put a door stop then we bought magnets that worked now the door fell off last month a piece at the bottom broke off and we glued it back on now the door no longer fit's it it is 8 mths old we had a different brand lasted 6 yrs we changed to the bottom load for ease of use but have had nothing but aggravation [ ie the other still worked when we donated it but it was top load ] the button for the hot water was so rigid it is the only thing that improved after the door fell off and it does not work without the door so you have to hold it on until it comes on then put the stool to hold it so do you sell extra doors right now i would not buy another one the feed back from the store zip i think they should replace it as it was defective from purchase .should have accept the signs and returned it
Ya, we had to unscrew the back and play with the mechanism a little and it works perfectly now. I think we just happen to get a faulty one unfortunately.

Does your hot water still trickle out like that? Seem like the flow should be more uniform, just like the cold water.

Infinite Possibilities how about using common sense?!? dispense water while you insert the straw so you don’t spill water.
