My dispenser would not dispense any water and water was coming out from the overflow tube. Contacted Primo, who directed me to this video. I was able to follow the instructions until the point when opened up the top cover. When I removed the cover for the reservoir, I found half of the water was actually frozen. At least 3 inches thick. I defrosted it and removed the ring of ice. Put it back together, started the unit and water started coming out of the overflow again. Unplugged it, opened up reservoir, closed it up again and turned it back on. So far no leaks. Video was very helpful to understand the components and how to remove them, check for any damage and then replace. Very helpful video!! Thank you

My bottom dispenser had a leak issue and I watched the 30 seconds where it explains how to fix this; it worked. Total time less than 5 mins! Thank you!

My slow drip is from the cold side. I wish Primo would put up a schematic of the cooler because I found a little spring near the cooler and I think this spring popped out from the cold side and no longer keeps a tight seal when not in use to prevent water from dripping out.

I had a leak from overflow water. I followed the directions and was able to solve my problem. Thanks guys!

If the water is still leaking from the spout, one solution that I found was tapping both the light and dark blue buttons rapidly (doesn't have to be simultaneous). It may not work for everyone but it certainly worked for me!

What if the water leaks from inside of the dispenser?

I wish you had a video to show how to get to the reservoir in a K cup machine!!!

    Worked for me. Thank you.

TLDR: If you have a 601332 model and water is leaking directly onto the water jug in the lower "loading compartment", follow the video before calling customer support.

Amazing! Was debating returning my brand new unit because one side was “sticky” and water kept coming out endlessly. Ended up that both the cold and hot water side were “unseated”. Maybe bad QC or unseated during shipment. Quick fix and avoided a warranty / phone call! Also for me the cover didn’t come off that easily so be careful not to snap the plastic tabs :)

Well, my Primo started leaking fast from what appeared to be the tank. After removing the top, I removed the top of the tank and saw the two floats, so I noticed that they were not stuck. I connected the bottle to the machine again and noticed that the pump turned on but it didn't shut off, it started overflowing again. So I kept the top off and again hooked up the bottle and I manually moved the top lower float to see if it would turn off but it didn't. So I moved the top float and it turned off the pump, exactly the way it's designed to work. I didn't see an alignment arrow on the tank top so I shifted the position about 2 inches to the left from the original position and that's all I needed to do to fix it. Don't ask me why but it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

is it possible to use this bottom loading dispenser directly as bottleless cooler i.e connecting tap hose directly to pump bypassing prop? or maybe bypassing pump?

Pressing the baffle back down in our Whirlpool worked! There is not much info out there (if any) on this fix, so thanks so much!

Do not buy Primo! I had water a leak on top of cooling tank. Turns out to be float switch that shuts off pump when tank is full. Most likely a $2-5 item. I called Primo customer service and was told that I should buy a new $200 unit as they do not sell parts. As absurd as that sounds, that's what they wanted me to do. Needless to say I'm switching brands, as I don't need another failure prone $200 unit.

My water dispenser is spewing hot water from the cold spout. Not just leaking, spewing! Happened to catch it right before going on a trip, glad that I didn't come back to a swimming pool in my dining room. Thought I got it fixed, kept it unplugged for a couple weeks, worked fine for 3 weeks and now it's doing the same thing again. How to fix?

Mine leaks but not all the time . Sometimes it may go 2 or 3 bottles without leaking it so random I thought maybe it was a defective bottle at first but it's definitely a problem with the dispenser. I won't buy another primo product again I should have kept my g.e. dispenser which was still working fine but I wanted a stainless steel model to match my kitchen

I switched the water bottle once and then it sucked up a bunch of a water and started dumping out the overflow hole. Now it seems to be fine. Should I take it apart and look at it?
