Awesome video mate! 1 question where did you run the 3rd line off the radium swirl pot? Thanks for the content helped out with my build!

Actually I capped it, to use as an expansion tank. One line into the swirl pot side, one line out. Extra air and water go into the expansion side.

Super cool, subbed. Love detailed content like this, interested to see the water pump delete and how that all work up front.

interesting i appreciate the insights, im about to go rear mount on the WRX, trying to go budget though so ill be using aluminum tubing run through the cabin rather than super expensive AN20. i been wondering why my car overheats a lot less than other cars would seem i was prudent in putting in the lil swirl pot i have in the bay.

16an works and is a little cheaper. When I added up the costs of welding aluminum tubing, it was close to the 20an cost. If your using small exhaust pipe and couplers, it could be cheaper, but there are many opportunities for leaks, which could take me out of a comp, so I didn’t want to risk it.

Hey, just subscribed and already watched a lot :-)
In the E36, how did you run the AN20 lines past the rear axles? It seems like you're putting them under the car behind the rear axle, so somehow you must have gotten them clear of the axles and Control arms :-)
I'm building an E46 with stock fuel tank, so I can't run them through like you did on your E92 :-)

Hey, thanks for subbing! I also ran a stock fuel tank in my e36, the way I ran the lines was kinda janky, but honestly, I never had a failure. You can see them pretty well in this video th-cam.com/video/CtUssF8sYTI/w-d-xo.html

@@BlakeBuildsATL yea, simple sometimes works 😊
I'm also considering putting it through the Firewall like your E92, but just run them behind and below the passenger seat, because I obviously still have the stock tank where you have placed your water and power steering pump 😊
Anyways I'll see where I have room for it, thanks for all the videos you create 😊

Man just saw a video about ur ls turbo e36 it fukin crazy.
3 questions: is the LS all stock?
    What size is ur turbo?
And at which rpm u get full boost?
    Cheers

Hey, thanks! My ls is completely built with forged internals and a bit of headwork. It’s a 75mm turbo with a t6 hot side, full boost is around 3500, we rev it to 7000

also your radiator core is important, more airflow less waterflow! aka more space between tubes and larger fins.

Hey brother, I would love to get together and discuss building a box and rear set up for my e34 drag/street build I have going on. From what it looks like you’ve done a lot of research and I’d really love to have that Headstart if you’d be willing to help me out. I am in Atlanta and would love to link up give me a shout if so! Thanks so much

Why did you go for a dash 20 line again while stating that a dash 16 line would be good enough in the beginning?
    Btw are you dutch?

    • @BlakeBuildsATL
      @BlakeBuildsATL  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that. I already had the 20an line, and the water pump uses 20an, so it was money already spent. My heritage is Dutch!

@@BlakeBuildsATL then I can totally understand that you went for the dash 20!
I saw your last name on the car and me being a dutch guy I really had to ask you that question 😊
Keep up the good videos, I find them very informative.
