Goodwill stores in my town are extremely outrageous, I’m talking 30 dollar Jean jackets, 18 dollar jeans, mind you they’re not branded just regular ass denim.
I swear I bought one of my old dresses from the 80’s-when I was in my 20’s- at a Goodwill the other day. Don’t ever toss your favorite pieces. I have my mom’s favorite blouse from the 70’s and it’s timeless. Again and again…
fashion is a cycle, every so often the younger gen discovers something their parents/grandparents used to wear and goes "oh, oh this goes hard" and all of a sudden everyone's wearing bell bottoms again
The first dress, cheap lace on raffle and eyelet...too much. Also i really recommend do not buy items with cheap lace , it makes the entire piece look cheap.
i found the coolest vintage skirt at goodwill recently. its layered and has some silky green fabric layers + floral layers and then the very bottom is a brown satin
If you dont like resellers, Hannica Rose. She shops, shows her purchase if ones made then how she styles it in her home decor or clothing. Videos are short and sweet. I think this lady does both. Shops for bundles and herself.
I hope u don’t resell cause all the cool pieces these days are already snatched by resellers who sell them at a much higher price plus sometimes u gotta pay for shipping too :((
Resellers don’t make up the price, they research what people have paid for said item. Something is worth what someone willing to pay for it. Thrift stores are technically resellers to but they get their stuff for free. Everyone has the option to go thrift and find the stuff your looking for. It just takes time sometimes to find what your looking for but go often and it will eventually happen 😊
as a millennial who keeps getting recommended your videos... girl u need to make friends with some older girls bc i'm sure a lot of them would like to clean out their closets bc another person's trash is someone else's treasure
Bro has the absolute worst fashion taste I’ve ever seen…. And stop being trendy by calling things “fairy core” or “grungey” when you literally don’t know what those styles look like…
I agree. My mum was a teen in the 90s and I showed her one of the videos where she said a rhinestone shirt was “grunge” and mum said the shirt wasn’t grunge and looked like something an older Chinese woman would wear which is fine if you like that stile of clothing but that isn’t grunge. The whole grunge style is to do with 90s fashion and wearing grunge band tops such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and other bands including Sound Garden, Smashing Pumpkins and other famous bands from the late 80s/early 90s. Grunge style can also feature layering clothing and Doc Martin’s. A big grunge factor is wearing flannel/plaid long sleeve tops or other things with that design. Singlet tops with thin straps can be worn too. As well as being a music taste the word “Grunge” also refers to dirt/grime and those clothes sum up the Grunge fashion. I love how the internet has turned Grunge into something it’s not picking out clothes that are not Grunge and saying “Omg that is so grungy” Most people don’t even listen to the grunge music. But people can wear whatever they want to but I bet most teens from the 90s wouldn’t see that as Grunge. Try looking up some Grunge clothes on Pinterest and see the real Grunge. I hope you don’t take this as a hate comment 😊
Not Americans be going to thrift stores and all the girlies are thrifting but in Poland if i buy a sweater from a thrift stores cause it was cheap but the retail price is 80 zł and i got it for 20,its really pretty,Has tags and is brand new they will still say "ewwww thrift store clothes? What are you? Poor?"
What scares me is how transparent that top looks 🫠 but i loved the first skirt, where i live thifting clothes is not a thing, and the idea of buying second hand clothes seems unhigenic for most people, also it migth be hard to find anything on a good state since a lot of it has been used the fabric gets old, but we have 0 issue passing down that matching set from my second cousin who got it in the 90's to me my both sisters ans 2 other cousins 😂
Do you only get things in your size (or clients sizes?) or do you ever alter things? I thrift all the time and find things that are so so cute but out of my size
@@guitarsolo. That's exactly what she does. It's like over $100 for a few items she gets at a thrift store. I can't believe people would pay that for some cheap clothing that doesn't look very good
OMG I love that first skirt !!!!! Something I would definitely wear with boots!! Great haul!!!
Yes, I adore that first skirt! So pretty!
Me too! Boots! 👢
The first two were midi’s, not maxi’s btw. Maxi’s are floor length!
They might be maxis on her
Maxis are not floor length. Floor length, sometimes called full, is floor length. Maxi is just above the ankles
On a short person, those are floor length 🤣😂😅
Everything she found is seriously called THRIFT GOALS !
Had the first skirt in black and brown for fall and babypink, baby blue and washed out stoned washed denim blue. Back in 2004.
I suddenly feel old....
Goodwill stores in my town are extremely outrageous, I’m talking 30 dollar Jean jackets, 18 dollar jeans, mind you they’re not branded just regular ass denim.
Goodwill has gone bad. Near me they don't even do a half off on a color tag. Only "rewards". Look for other thrift stores.
Tbh, the shirt one looks like the ones sold in the cheapest stores out here, it's something my 70 year old mom would wear
Fr as a Mexican it's something I associate with gen x and boomers lol
hahah yes same
That brown top; check the brand. If it’s Affliction or Ed Hardy, it might be worth more
This is the kind of clothes my mom wore when I was in elementary 😂 it’s so weird to me that it’s back in trend
Literally 💀💀
I think I actually knew someone with that shirt in like 2007
100% i have so many flashbacks hahah
I swear I bought one of my old dresses from the 80’s-when I was in my 20’s- at a Goodwill the other day. Don’t ever toss your favorite pieces. I have my mom’s favorite blouse from the 70’s and it’s timeless. Again and again…
Vintage!
Honestly I was in high school when those bedazzled tops were popular and no one wore them except moms trying to look young and hip lol.
💯 I saw that and thought, this is "in" now? 😆
❤❤❤
The eyelet material is called broderie anglaise (said as broadray onglay) and maxi is to the ankle in length, as in maximum length.
This girl must be on a first name basis with the workers at this point
When fashion literally makes u feel old
Everything makes you feel old
It was a little painful to hear that City Triangles, which was a staple for Macy’s that I lived in in my 20s is now considered a vintage grand. Ouch.
I used to work at Macys Juniors Department I hung up so many City Triangles everything back in the day.
Thank you! I couldn’t remember if it was Macys or JC Penney! 😂
This is making me wish I had kept my entire closet from my early 20’s. I could be so trendy 🥴😂
i cannot when she calls midi skirts (or even tea skirts) maxi skirts. 😭 am i crazy, or is she just really short?
I’ve seen the skirt, high school 2007
i can't tell if thats a compliment or insult?
@@MarG-is2tn it’s a statement #englishclass
@@spritedrin my bad
The top is to die for! I had one like that in 2010-ish, I was about 12, a real style icon 😂 I think about that top a lot, 100% would still wear!
I really wish i had my wardrobe from my teens
That shirt is SHEIN btw
Why is everything I donated from high school trendy now? 😂😂😂 I literally had that same shirt in multiple versions
it happens to everyone
fashion is a cycle, every so often the younger gen discovers something their parents/grandparents used to wear and goes "oh, oh this goes hard" and all of a sudden everyone's wearing bell bottoms again
Omg the dress😍 gorgeous
had to do a double take cuz i saw a backpack i own. the clear rainbow one that shows up in the background behind the black maxi dress 😂
Bro that dress😩😩
The black maxi dress is my favorite! I love the ribbon and lace together ❤❤
my grandmother wore exactly the same skirts)
The first ones reminded me of portals (Melaine Martinez)
The first dress, cheap lace on raffle and eyelet...too much. Also i really recommend do not buy items with cheap lace , it makes the entire piece look cheap.
I love the green eyelet ruffle skirt! I do like the bottom of the black dress! How eyecatching!
You got good taste! I like what you found 😊
i found the coolest vintage skirt at goodwill recently. its layered and has some silky green fabric layers + floral layers and then the very bottom is a brown satin
I want to visit America just for your thrift stores ours aren't great in Ireland.
I just threw that same skirt in the trash because it was outdated. 😮
Lets bring back graphic long tees
I am so glad to see someone wearing the clothes instead of reselling
they mentioned "bundles" which means they're most likely gonna resell :( I really wish people would just stop doing this.
I didn't hear bundles part. I hate the whole reselling thing
Yeah she also makes videos on whether to keep or sell items she's thrifted
If you dont like resellers, Hannica Rose. She shops, shows her purchase if ones made then how she styles it in her home decor or clothing. Videos are short and sweet. I think this lady does both. Shops for bundles and herself.
@@triplehearts914true but she also shops for herself
That's really sad where I live at any thrift stores do not carry things like that I'm not kidding it's really crappy.
It's not really vintage when it's from 2000
I HATE RESELLERSS AAHHJ
omg sooo jelaous of the first skirt
im bAcK aT tHe thRiFtsTorE *waves cutely*
*winy winky hehe*
i cannot . 💀
the last one is def shein lol
Omg I’ve thrifted City Triangles before, I didn’t know that about the brand!
Great fashion finds
I wish I had that kind of luck when I go to the thrift stores. Lucky you! That first skirt is SO pretty ❤
The dress is gorgeous
Omg i love that outfit
That top is 100% from the early 2000s. The material and cut scream peasant top and the rinstones are a sad 2000s staple. I lived all this so i know.
I love them!
I didn't like any of the items, I found all of them extremely ugly 😅
Same😅
I’ve been trying to find some really good pieces for fairy weekend at Renfaire this year and I haven’t had any luck with the thrift stores around me
Love your vids!❤
Great skirts and dress!

@@leahs1988 yeah but going there often leaves you with nothing cause resellers already got them and are selling them for 9x the price.
I still find stuff because all the resellers are selling ugly stuff like this
IM GOING THRIFTING FOR THE FIRST TIME TOMORROW WITH MY MOM IM SO EXCITEDDDDD!!!!! I hope to find some goblincore stuff :3
You have your own unique taste. 😊
That's a nice way to put it.
Such pretty clothes🎉🎉🎉
