The bins are just golddddd I feel like I found more there than a regular thrift store!
I’d make a slid or cut the bottom diagonally, so it’d be asymmetrical. Boots are perfect as they are)
My two girls are now 17 and 20 and I've been thrifting their clothes since they were born. They were always the cutest dressed kids! They still are. Still thrift for them and they always love everything that I find. It's so fun!

The dress and boots look the best when you're pulling one side of the dress. It creates a cool draping effect. Maybe try pinning it? This way you can wear your dress with other shoes too
the current length of the black dress is soooo good, I feel like making it shorter might make it not as nice so if it’s a reversible hem why not otherwise I would leave it. Different heights boots will always be useful

the black dress is soo pretty😍, personally I wouldn‘t pair them with boots cause I feel like with them there‘s too much going on , I think with some simple flat shoes like sandals, you could compliment the outfit even more 🫶🏽 love your channel Haley🫶🏽

Braving the bins! I’d definitely recommend wearing a mask when you go to the bins! I just helped my friend clean her apartment before she moved and wore a mask to keep my allergies from taking over and it definitely worked for me.

for the black dress, you should use black ribbons and safety pins to tie it up!! that way if you don’t want to wear it with boots it’s multifunctional :)) plus have ribbon bows on anything increases style points

Just with those two dresses you found the green one and the black one it was worthy. Also wanted to ask if you could show us how you cleaned both your and the girls clothing to make sure they were clean enough before trying them on. Really looking forward to your next goodwill experience.

There’s a goodwill bins where my sister goes to college and it’s become such a fun bonding thing for us to go every time I visit her! I’ve found so much good stuff like j crew cashmere and even a pair of hokas!

Yes, so worth it!!! I love the Goodwill Bins, not to mention you keep the items from going the the dump! In Indiana the cost is $1.69 a lb so alot cheaper in Florida! Thank you for your video

I really enjoy your thrifting videos, Haley. We do not have anything like the Goodwill Bins where I live, but if so I would like to try thrifting there, because I think you could find some absolute gems there sometimes.
I would leave the black dress as it is and look for some shorter brown boots.

I actually went to one today in Montreal, Quebec called renaissance liquidation center. I hadn't been in a long time and realized after 15 min I couldn't anymore, my stamina is not what it used to be lol! Love the vest, great find!!
I love it. And I love donating stuff I don’t need .. then going through the bins. I just got tons of books and an Elsa ride on for my daughter for nothing. And a glass/ wood book shelve I plan on DIY into a coffee /book bar. For $2 it was so worth it

That was an experience. I did try it once in Ontario BRAVING THE BINS! Unfortunately as a disabled person the bins were not for me. However, if I could handle it I would go again. ❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦

About the black dress , i think you can use some safety pins on each side , it will make the dress appear shorter and give it an interesting hemline ❤
