I don't know why I forgot I can do that when I did it for the Sphinx quests in my first run LMAO. I don't know what I'd do without y'all, I'm so forgetful.
Because the game still doesn't run at a solid 60+fps, it's literally the same exact game that released over a decade ago with minor new quests, the pawn feature is still atrocious, NPCs still act dumb ASF. I love dragons dogma but this game is just a remaster with terrible optimization
@ yeah I know I wasn’t being serious lol. Games being released unfinished or in unoptimized states with the expectation that there will be a patch after a little while to finish a job that should have already been finished is actually one of my least favorite things to happen to games in recent times and that applies even in the cases where patches actually do really fix everything.
i still love this game tho so idc watching elden ring gameplays lowkey making it hard for me to wanna play that when I finally get a pc cuz that game and its animations look pretty ass in comparison
@@theunholyknightofyoutube3893 yeah but Dragon's Dogma 2 is the GOAT at having NPCs spawn in 2 inches from your face as the game desperately tries to milk your CPU for resources so it is leading the way in that regard
I really need to play Cyberpunk. I bought the game day one but couldn't play it because the performance was horrible. It seems the game is fixed, I just wish it was 3rd person.
Cyberpunk is 100% worth the playthrough now. It's how it should've been at launch. And I do like the idea of 3rd person but it would break a lot of immersion and cutscenes considering that a lot of the animations are from a 1st person pov
Definitely worth it these days. It's been SO much better since the 2.0 update just before Phantom Liberty. It's the game I play a lot off the channel when I just need to unwind, exploring the city can be extremely addictive.
@@theunholyknightofyoutube3893 yeah it's not really structured to play in 3rd person I agree. The first person perspective through me off at first too because I prefer 3rd person (sometimes first person makes me motion sick), but I ended up getting into it. Just walking around looking at stuff can be the most amazing part of the game sometimes, it's very pretty.
That's probably because you was. If I have one real complaint about the game it's lack of enemy variety. I've also only fought a Chimera like once even though they supposedly spawn too lmao
You have to immerse yourself the story. This is not a world where you expect to fight every monster in every games. Why did you think dragon age failed? They are everywhere and no where at the same time. Fully diverse characters whith zero depth. Every landscape with no life. At least dragons dogma 2 has some kind of eco system in place. Youll find rabbits to hunt, birds, streams with fish to catch or decaying corpses where you can blast it to bits with explosion. If only they would have made a more cinematic interaction by coding.
@@SoloEcho I always tell people DD2 is like the ultimate adventure simulator. That’s why I have so many hours in it myself. If you just go in and explore the world, there’s a lot going on even though it seems like so little. I still wish there was more enemy variety though, but uh… I think moreso I want a DLC than think there’s anything wrong with base game lmao
My arisen usually hates saurians. Like, she can't wait to wipe them out. Dunno why. Also, choppers... I hate those guys. Lunk does look good in that armor, doesn't he? ^_^
The choppers annoy me so much. There's nothing worse than having your sprint cycle interrupted by a chopper launching itself at you. He looks GREAT. It's a very stylish look you picked out.
While I do agree with mostly of your statements about this game, and also because I love it a lot. Nontheless the perfomance issues it had on release and the microtransactions makes me believe that we shouln't endorse companies for this type of behaviour, even if they fix the game later.
That's very fair as well! And most of them don't do it like how Sean Murray/Hello Games did with NMS where they've basically pumped out free DLC for almost a decade to make up for the botched launch lmao. That game is one of a kind for how they did that.
Depends on what you're looking for in it, I suppose, I adore the game but I'll do my best to give an unbiased answer. Performance has improved a TON, in my opinion. I hardly have performance issues anymore unless I'm very near Vernworth specifically (that city still has framerate issues, and my PC is not weak). I think they tweaked how it handles the NPC load, so I find it's a lot less CPU heavy (which was the main issue before). AI has improved as well in my opinion. Is it perfect? No, but I definitely notice a lot less weird things, and the pawns "forget" to follow me/do things a lot less. Now the big issue a lot of people still have with it is the lack of content in the campaign story, and that... hasn't really changed. This isn't like a Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 or No Man's Sky situation where they added content to make the game deliver better. Tech issues have improved, but the game still objectively feels like an adventure sandbox with not a lot of thought put into the story/etc. I don't suspect that will be built upon unless we get a DLC. I hope that answers your question! It's improved, but whether or not it's still trash is dependent on why you thought it was trash to begin with lmao
@@theunholyknightofyoutube3893 while I don't myself have much issue with the dodging, I did wish they had something more like Mystic Knight that rewarded good parry timing really heavily. I woulda loved that.
The innuendo with the Honda Civic man. I laughed so hard my housemate next door knocked and asked if everything's OK
LMAO that's great
FYI... you can use ferrystones for escort quests. It makes life soooo much easier. 😊
